This business really knows their window treatments. I originally went to them for some wood blinds but the sales person showed me options I never knew existed. She explained the pros and cons of the many different selections. I’m feeling like I got to make an educated decision and in the end I got wood shutters and some really pretty cellular shades with a pull down option. Since the cellular shades are on the west side of my house it looks like I’ll be saving on my power bill this summer. High recommendations for Bugsy’s

This review is long over due but it was on my to do list. After seeing the pretty cool billboard on my way home one evening I decided to give them a call. I told the lady on the phone that I was looking for real shutters and a few draperies for my new house. She scheduled an appt with one of their salesman for my next day off.
To my surprise he was 5 min early. He brought in a few books with fabric and helped me choose the right look for my house. It was a perfect match. The salesman Rafael really knew what he was talking about and had a great sense of fashion.
Just as promised my product arrived and was installed within 3 weeks. I love how much better my house looks now! Thank you Bugsy’s Blinds! I will definitely be recommending you to my friends and family! They are definitely a top notch company. I will be going back.

Bugsy’s is awesome! After relocating here from the east coast, I had no idea what solar shades even were! I went to Bugsy’s on a friend’s recommendation and couldn’t have been treated better. Rafael helped us decide which type of screen was best for us. He was down-​to-​earth and didn’t try to sell us the most expensive item. He really took his time with us and honestly wanted to make sure we would be happy with our choice. When he came out to measure, I asked him what he thought I should do with my kitchen window. He suggested shutters in a wood finish to match my cabinets. Wow! I never even considered it. He was right-​on. This man knows his stuff and is as honest as they get. Absolutely love my shutters and solar shades! I recommend Bugsy’s to anyone looking for good product at a reasonable price!

I contacted this company to bid on my shades, the girl on the phone was a bit difficult but to deal with, but Greg the salesman was great, after he fully explained my options he came out again to finalize the color and collect the deposit.
The deposit was 50% down, and the remainder to be paid two days PRIOR to installation, I had him repeat himself to be sure, then he explained that this was normal, yes maybe normal for him, but definitely a show stopper for me, I’ve had plenty of custom work performed on my house without paying in advance, buyer beware!
Update, Rafael, a manager at Bugsy attempted to contacted me by phone today, but I was unavailable, thank you for the call and information about low margin etc, I do feel that the readers of Unilocal can discern that I was never really a customer of yours, but decided to write a review based on your unusual policy to collect all funds prior to installation, knowing this fact in advance wouldn’t have wasted your time and mine, why not post this policy on your web page?

Bugsy’s surpassed my expectations when it came to their professional service. They have qualified staff who go beyond the call of duty to ensure the product you purchased is to your satisfaction.
I noticed that the bad reviews on here get personal attention. I don’t know many other businesses who go out of their way to check reviews on here AND have key personnel offer their number to fix any issues.
Kudos to you, Bugsy’s, for going above and beyond for your customers.

Up until the install, I had a great experience with Bugsy’s blinds. Cynthia was fantastic when she came out to measure, however the installation was awful. Two weeks prior to the install date, we agreed on a time slot of 12 – 4. I made it clear that the later the better because I also had new windows being installed in the morning. The scheduler said that won’t be a problem. At 11 am, the installer called and asked if he could come over early. I told him that wouldn’t work, as we had an agreed upon installation time and the windows installers were not quite finished. He called back about 15 minutes later and said they would need to reschedule. I called the office, and they told me I would hear something Monday. I work out of town and scheduled the project over the weekend while I’ll be home. Unacceptable!

I couldn’t wait for my husband to take a few pictures of our new window treatments so I could share what a great company bugsys is and our experience was more than exceptional.
Our story, we first used bugsys blinds in 2009 for our first home and curtis came out to measure and we wanted shutters but could not afford them at the time so we ordered foxwood blinds special we had alot of windows and we couldn’t afford much so he helped us with the snow white textured blind. We really liked the blinds and the man curtis so when we moved into our new home we remembered him and called he came out measured for shutters and we also wanted drapes and some fancier stuff this time. Ordered white shutters the first time, ordered again drapes and they just installed them and now waiting for a another order of stained shutters they just called us to say the samples were ready and we could take them home and pick the color that matches. Picking those up today. We will order outdoor solar screens next. Everyone from Curtis to the lady Tammy he assigned to help with our drapes were very nice and she even drew a picture of the drapes and came back to our home to make sure of measurements since we added a cornice box and brought the fabrics back out. It made us feel good that they wanted everything to be what we liked. Our order was on time and the drapery rod was getting stuck so the installer took it apart and really new what he was doing. Everything works nice and my husband can’t stop playing with his new motorized roller shades in his office. We are very happy with the person who worked with our days off to install out stuff and the crew cleaned up when they were done. They gave us a account so we could check on our order. Professional company.

On 3−13−15 Rafael Ferrigno, Chief Marketing Officer/​GM which was the sales rep visited our home. He was very pleasant and friendly. We placed an order and were satisfied with our purchase. On April 24, 2015 our shutters were delivered the installers were very polite and friendly, and professional and worked throughout the day to install and removed old drapes and hardware. Two shutters had to be re-​ordered due to manufacturer issues the re-​order was handled in a timely manner. I Iove the look of the shutters, gave my home a new look and looking forward to doing more business with them.

I purchased shutters from this company for my home. There is a problem with one of the sets of shutters. I have tried several times to come to a conclusion/​solution that is reasonable with Rafael. Now, he has discontinued contact with me.
The people at the store stated conflicting excuses as to why he cannot/​will not get back to me. First they stated he does not go in the field anymore, then when I drove to the store, they stated that he was in the field all day. I cannot help but feel as if I am being disregarded.
I am trying desperately to reach out to the owner of the company, Conrad Trevino. I only found out the name of the owner through this site as the workers at the store refused to tell me who the owner is.
In scrolling through the reviews, I noticed Conrad writes back to negative reviews. Please contact me. Christine 702−243−4053 or 702−505−3655 or 702−292−5687. It would be nice to know if this is a reputable company, the owner cares about his customers and the frustration his general manager has caused me. I spent a lot of money on my shutters and would like to resolve this issue.
As I cannot get anywhere with driving to the store in person, please do not give the main number and ask me to call you. I have been trying tirelessly, as I explained.

This updated rating applies to the company’s efforts after my order was completed and installed. First, the final product does look beautiful; I’m just still apprehensive about the amount of time it took to receive and install them. The installers themselves were very professional and friendly. Rafael contacted me after reading my review and offered to compensate me for my time and the botched order and appointment. He explained that the company will no longer be using whatever company they were using overseas in order to prevent shipping issues in the future. He further assured me that they were going to look into why the installation time got changed. Either way, the damage is done. I appreciate the company making a good faith effort to earn my satisfaction after the fact.

I never actually got blinds from here or anything. Mostly because someone came to my house to give me an estimate and said «I will email you the numbers tomorrow.» Well that was almost six months ago and I never got an estimate so I ended up having to go with a different company. Very disappointed with their lack customer service and professionalism.

Bugsy’s Blinds is the best in town! I had one solar shade done by their competitor in town and it was way more expensive and it didn’t even fit right in my window! When I had Bugsy’s come in to my office, from start to finish everyone was very professional and friendly. It was fun picking out the different shades. They have a huge selection to choose from and they helped me pick the right ones for my hot hot office. Damn was it a sauna in my office before I got my shades! I have 4 large windows in a corner office and in the summer it was sweltering. Now it is cool and comfortable with my awesome solar shades. It lets in just enough light in and reflects off the heat. I’m a happy camper.
If you’re looking for window treatments for your home or office you will not be sorry with Bugsy’s customer service and prices. I can’t wait to use them for our new home. Thanks Bugsy’s Blinds!

This review is for the service at Bugsy’s. In the past few months I’ve had Rafael over my house — once to measure and show me options for window coverings, and the second time, very last minute, to do a final measurement and place our order.
The service at Bugsy’s has been outstanding. So much so that I never even bothered pricing or looking anywhere else! And that’s very uncharacteristic for a Unilocaler!
One of the best things Bugsy’s offers is their «upgrade» option. Buy any window covering from them and the price will be applied to a future upgrade. There’s no expiration on this, which is excellent if you want to upgrade or just replace your window coverings any time in the future.
Rafael totally had all our best interests in mind — our needs, cost, design, etc. He showed us good options at great prices and gave excellent advice. I’m confident, with his help, that all of our window coverings are going to be high quality and look fantastic. He is courteous, professional, and very respectful of our home (always took his shoes off going upstairs on the carpet).
I’m so excited for the project to be completed and I don’t think we could have gotten better service anywhere! I will update this after we receive the final product and installation is complete.

On Dec 22 2015 Eric and Fernando installed plantation shutters in my home. The hinges the shop provided didn’t match hinges I had on shutters that were previously stalled many years before. Eric immediately took pictures while I called Cynthia my salesperson. He emailed the pictures and within a day I was contacted and a installation date was set-​up. All this was done in less than a week

My wife and I about a year ago had a new home built for our retirement so we had it the exact way we wanted it. The contractor we used talked with my wife and she was very specific the way she wanted everything. When all said and done the windows where horrible and the blinds either would stick or just fall apaprt.
For several months we went back and forth and finally I just told her let’s just have them all redone. I called many places and either didn’t not confident in their skills or felt they didn’t listen.
Finally I called bugsy’s and instantly felt relieved, they listened and sat down with my wife and got all of her input. They even walked through every room made some small suggestions and I have to say WOW! after it was all said and done we actually got better windows and blinds than what was originally planned for.
Thanks bugsy’s you made me and my wife really happy in our new retirement home.

Bugsy’s offers a wide selection of window coverings at reasonable prices. Based on the excellent reviews from Angie’s List and Unilocal I decided it to give them a try. Out of the other three estimates I received, Bugsys offered the best price and service. I would definitely recommend this company to others! The turn around time for the install was also great compared to their competitors. They also have the most selection and unique brands that i never saw at the other competitors stores. Some companies didn’t even have a storefront and seemed shady.

This review is loooooong overdue. Just thought of writing today because i was browsing at my phone and saw the horrible pictues of their products in our home. Me and my husband chose Bugsy’s 3 or 4 years ago because they look promising in their advertisements. I called them 3 Times in three different occassions to fix our shutters and charge me $ 50 every time they come in to fix it. I guess with the 25 years warranty that they offer, you still have to pay for their trip each time they come to your house and fix it. It’s such a hassle calling them, making appointments, and paying the $ 50 each time they come! What a waste of time and money! I shouldn’t be doing all of these things and paying them trip fees if they stand to their products.
One time, I was just watching tv and all of a sudden, I was frighten from the sound of the slats of our shutters falling! They fall off even without even touching them! Wth! I definitely would not recommend them to anyone! I hope they won’t find my real name nor my husband’s because like one of the reviewer’s said, she received a letter from the CFO telling her to change her review.
It’s annoying and got tired of it, found a new shutter company and have all my shutters replaced and couldn’t be happier!

Do NOT use this company. I ordered some blinds (which I’m pretty sure I overpaid for) and it was a royal pain in the a@@ to get the installation scheduled. Once I finally did get it scheduled, I was given a window from 8:00am to 1200 noon on when the installer would show up. I was also threatened to be charged $ 50 for a rescheduling fee if I wasn’t here at that time. Long story short, the installer didn’t show up on time. I called at the Installation Dept at 1145, and received a message that the dept is closed not the weekend. So I called the main line, they took a message and about 20 minutes the installer finally called me and said he’d be here in 20 – 30 minutes depending on traffic… well past the 1200 window. I just lost half my day… I wonder if they’d pay me $ 50 for them not showing up on time… I doubt it!

In 2011 we used Bugsy’s for our purchase of 38 windows worth of real wood and custom stained plantation shutters and a few blinds.
I’m very impressed with the outcome of the shutters and blinds.
Amazing craftsmanship, awesome customer service and they were made within an understandable lead time.
We have another house now and look forward to beautiful window coverings again.
I love our shutters and will be using them again soon for our new home!

After posting a 1 star review on Unilocal.Bugsy found my number in their computer and reached out to me. I have had them come out mulitple times to fix broken shutters that fall apart at the plastic grommet that holds them into the frame. Bugsy said the sun deteriorates the plastic grommet and that they commonly break. They came out and replaced the broken ones and my blinds are working again.
