History

Established in 1978.

Heart Center of Nevada was founded in 1978 by Dr. Sohail Anjum and Dr. Dost Wattoo with the mission of offering the very best in cardiovascular medical services to the Las Vegas area. Since then, the number of patients we serve has grown significantly, along with our network of regional partnerships. We currently have 14 board certified cardiologists who have been recruited from some of the best educational and training programs in the world. These exceptionally qualified physicians are based at five different locations to better serve the needs of our patients

Business Owner

Dr. Georges Tanbe was born in Thionville, France and grew up in Syria. He graduated from the University of Aleppo with a medical degree in 2005. He completed his internal medicine residency at Tufts University and went on to complete his cardiovascular fellowship training at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. He then joined the University of Massachusetts were he completed his interventional cardiology fellowship training followed by a vascular peripheral training at Prairie Heart Institute in Springfield, Illinois. Dr. Tanbe is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and nuclear cardiology imaging.

Dr. Tanbe has special interest and research work related to the utilization of the radial artery access approach in most of cardiac catheterizations and interventions. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology. Dr Tanbe joined Heart Center of Nevada in October 2014
