My first visit went well, no long wait. I Felt welcomed and acknowledged since I walked in. Friendly staff and Dentist. Clean and organized environment. Excited I discovered this place.

Ok, I admit, I don’t really love going to the dentist for any reason. I originally visited this office a few years ago, with a Groupon. I’ve had to put off a root-​canal «re-​do» for eight (8) years… but finally got it done with Dr. Morales yesterday. Wow! Dr. Morales, and independent contractor Endodontist, actually exceeded my expectations ! My procedure went smoothly and I was very comfortable in his hands. I’ve seen several different dentists at this location, but every time I am greeted with a friendly response and professionalism. I highly recommend Flamingo Smiles to everyone.

I am a dress for success graduate and flamingo smiles volunteered there time so that all the women in the class received free dental services. Dr Baca and Megan are awesome! They took there time and were very nice and gentle. I even get to come back for free to complete my filing. Just awesome! Thank you so much

Uncomfortable environment. Too professional not enough connection to clients. Got a second opinion somewhere else. Prices very high here.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE they gave me one price so I paid in full then they started to add more and more charges, I went and got a second opinion which was $ 1000 less then what they were charging for the same service so I went with the other place I have now been fighting for 7 weeks to get my money back $ 3200 and everyday when I call, because no one will ever call me back, they say «the checks in the mail» THEY ARE A BUNCH OF THIEVES

I can’t even begin to express how impressed I was with this place today. First and for most Whitney (the receptionist) is fabulous, she made my scheduling, check-​in and check-​out process so easy and she’s so friendly and patient. Dental assistant was very nice and thorough as well, not to mention the doctor. All of my questions were answered before I could even ask them. The office is immaculate and my total time there was less than an hour.
I have to return in a month for wisdom teeth removal and though I’m not excited for the procedure I’m looking forward to visiting the office again. I’m so glad I finally found a quality dentist!

My friend was in a bad car accident and needed some dental restoration. We were able to be seen the same day within an hour of calling. The doctors and staff were quick to access the issues at hand. They presented us with different options and pay plans. The customer service was great and their prices are very affordable. I have found my new dentist!

I had a very good experience at this place. Everybody was very nice and the atmosphere was good. I did not have to wait very long, about 15 min. The office and rooms are really clean. My dentist Dr Hong was nice and she took her time in examining my teeth. She explained everything in detail about how the health of teeth were. The only thing she recommended was a teeth guard to wear at night. The hygienist was really nice. She did a real good on cleaning my teeth without to much discomfort. It was a deep cleaning so they had to numb my mouth. Overall it was a good experience.

Ok this is the worst nightmare!!! I had teeth extraction last year. Before i went procedure i checked with receptionist that it’d covered by my two dental insurance. 5 month later … I received the bill saying i owe 171dollar. I called my insurance companies… and found out they did not bill one of my insurance company. I called flamingo dental and they told me there was mistake and they will take care. Today i received the bill from Collection agency!!! Never visit this place!!!

They have some friendly folks here. Every time I have visited the office, I’ve been seen promptly, and have gotten out quickly. My dentist is attentive to my questions, and genuinely seems to care about my teeth. She arranged with their in house oral surgeon to take out two of my wisdom teeth, and that was a good experience as well. Well, at least as good an experience as it can be, considering.

I have been to several dentist offices in the past and this one is by far the best. Great prices and exceptional service. Plus the office is very clean and has state-​of-​the-​art equipment.

Two days ago I had a routine appointment to have my teeth cleaned. The dentist that I had previously seen was no longer working there. I had previously had a cleaning 6 months prior and no pocket measurements had been made at that time. I started with x-​rays then off to another room. At this point I was introduced to the Dr Hong. Shortly after, another doctor (Hang) came in to take measurements of my gum pockets. They were all 3’s with the exception of a couple 4’s and I think one 5. Next the told me that 3’s were good and 4’s and 5’s were bad and that I needed special work done to repair and to fight off this bacteria that could cause me to lose the tooth. Then a laser treatment followed and for insurance reasons the appointment had to be broken up into two separate days. I had the work done which was so very painful and I still need my teeth cleaned which would happen at the next appointment. I asked when I could have this done, and they said the next day, which I replayed: no way am I coming back for this much torture any time that soon. I scheduled my appointment for Aug. 19.
As soon as I got home I contacted my Dentist in Los Angeles. This is what she said:
One 5 pocket reading does not usually necessitate scaling and laser. 3s are ideal especially in between the teeth. 4s are not uncommon for our age especially if you have just a few. One 5 can be cleaned thoroughly at the regular cleaning appointment. Laser is aggressive for those readings. Did you bleed a lot at the regular cleaning? Bleeding is a sign of inflammation. That is an indication for gum treatments.
I feel like I was fooled into thinking I needed work done that was not necessary. I will not be returning and these chain dentistry places are not a good idea for anyone.

I was a patient there for a few months and was extremely happy with Dr. Morris. well he has since left and was replaced. I tried the new dentist and she was nice but seemed to have no interest in wanted to treat me because of a medical condition. I found out half way through my appt. that the new dentist is not credentialled yet and cannot do any actual work on me that day. They said it should take about a week and then i could come back in… I am still waiting several weeks now. Not even a courtesy call was given to me. Wish i could find Dr Morris :-(
On the plus side. their office staff is extremely friendly!

About a year ago, I went to this office and my dentist was Dr. Bringhurst. He was a relatively great dentist. So naturally, when he moved to the Rainbow office, I followed. Well, my last visit with him, he really seemed different? I guess maybe stressed or overworked that he threw a tantrum at me.
SO! I came back to Flamingo Smiles. O M G. Dr. Hong, she was just wow. I love her. lol :) I made sure she was going to be the resident dentist there (they’ve had rotating dentists since I left), and yes! She is!
Yeah, it takes 20 – 30 minutes to get there from where I live, but it’s so worth it. Even the staff and assistants are great. Everyone has a great sense of humor and absolutely do not pressure you to do work you do not currently need.

From a Five-​Star rating to a One-​Star rating, lets explain why.
Scheduled our 6 month checkup, well, 6 months ago. I rec’d a call on a Friday RE: our appointment on Monday and that they have to reschedule it, why? «There will be no dentist here» um, ok… But I only do AM appointments and you don’t have any for the next few weeks, do you have Saturdays? «No, we do not». So I had to figure out my schedule and then call them back some other time… Then I rec’d a call on the Wednesday following and the lady on the other line informs me that my son had an appointment this afternoon and wanted to know if he was going to still come in. I tell her that no one called to confirm/​remind us about the appointment bc as far as I was concerned, we were all supposed to have our appointments on the day that there was no dentist in the office. The gal then got a little snippy and said «Well, you confirmed the appointment.» I snipped back and said, NO, I COULDN’T HAVE if no one called me.
I really don’t think that we’ll be returning. They don’t accommodate after they make the mistake and gees, DO NOT bust an attitude with me when you’re the one making all the mistakes. What kind of customer service are you trying to give?! Crap? Well good job!

Went here on the advice of a coworker and I am so glad I did! The most personable, friendly «office» environment I have ever been to! High tech, clean, and a professional, friendly staff! What dental office have you ever been to where the doctor actually comes out to the waiting room to introduce herself? I have found my new dental office for life!

This place is really bad at service and waiting time. I had an appointment at 2 pm and ended up walking out at 5:30pm. I only need one tooth clean, they have me wait for THREE hours to get ONE tooth clean. They take you to the back and ask you to sign so they can charge your insurance. After you sign off then they just forget about you since insurance is paying them already. Walk-​Ins got their teethed cleaned before me which I had appointment. Unless you have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do all day and want a place to wait for several hours then this is the right place for you

All in all it was a great appointment (even though I was a tough patient). I called to make an appointment for a new patient and needed x-​rays and a cleaning. I got an appointment the very next day. After arriving and checking in, there was a small wait of about 10 min. We started my x-​rays (which was a little difficult to do because I gag easily on those little things they put in my mouth). After that was done, my results were looked at and then we talked about my payment for my deep gum cleaning and stuff that I had to get done. They let me pick out a movie while waiting and after 10 min of watching it, they moved me to another room for my cleaning with no movie or music or nothing. I TOTALLY didn’t understand that at all. What was the point???
During my cleaning, I was maxed out on novicane and they had to use the gas on me to help me relax because nothing was working. It helped but didn’t totally solve the issues I was having. Part of it was I can still feel the work she was doing and some pain, and another part of it was my a.d.d. and anxiety kicking in and what I really needed was something to take my mind off of the work she was doing. The movie WOULD’VE HELPED but it wasn’t available in the room I was in.
Other then that, we finished everything in 1 appointment and I definitely would go back. I liked them very much.

Flamingo Smiles is as good as it gets when it comes to professional, friendly, and affordable dentistry. The staff there is amazing! Dr. B takes care of both my husband’s and my teeth, and as we don’t love going to the dentist, we at least look forward to going to this specific office when we have to.
They offer a customer care program for discounted services, and they also offer payment plans if you need it as well.
Definitely check them out if you’re searching for a new dentist. You will be happy you chose them.
