Fast Lap Indoor Kart Racing

It was $ 200 for 4 people to do two 10 minute races. After checking in and signing a waiver a short film was shown and we were ready to ride the go karts.
The jumpsuits, although very cute looked like they have not been washed in ages. They are optional to wear but did help save my jeans from getting grease on them so I would recommend wearing them.
I love how after the race a print out is given and there is a podium to take pictures.
I definitely will come back and recommend this place for any event: birthday celebration, friend get together, date.

4 stars for sure! Went here on a Sunday with a groupon, 2 Races for 2 10 mins each $ 40 ($ 80 value mind you) There were not many people there although we did have to wait 40 mins (which was stated upon entering) The young lady at the front desk i forget was extremely courteous and explained everything, the only thing our groupon did not cover was the Head Socks for the helmets which were $ 3 a piece (gloves, jumpsuit and available first come first serve) If it is your first time they have you sit in the entrance wing and watch and educational video with explains their rules and regs. pretty standard, then off too the races!
These are real go-​karts people, 40+ mph if you can shimmy quick enough around the corner (and hope for a kart with superior handling as they do vary) While waiting, there are seats and table to hang out, or a mini-​arcade area with all kinds of games (air hockey included!!) and vending machines so you can kill time while waiting to shred the course, perfect for groups or just to kill time on a random day! My first race I was a bit nervous i mean i Own and ride a street bike but for some reason this was a bit intimating at first; that all goes away after the first turn where you get the feel of the gas/​brakes/​handling. I felt like a kid in a candy store after that first turn as i am sure the rest of you can share the same sentiment ;P Going at it for ten minutes oh man, time flies but you do get your time! Depending on the amount of people there you will race with anywhere from 3 to 8 other Karts so it is an experience in itself where you can test your skills and let your inner child out as we all love to do!
Def. stop here when you are on your way out of or in and around Vegas you will not be disappointed. The prices where a bit steep, but that is standard with all those operating costs, and that’s where I am grateful for the groupon! Thanks Fast Lap I will def. stop by when around again and probably will even check out the local one out where we live in Ontario Ca!

Right away used my Unilocal offer! Seems pricier than my younger days at scandia lol. Walk into the locker room to watch the safety video. Gear up in the jumpsuit, head sock. Took full advantage of their redbull vending machine. The yellow button spit out cranberry redbull. The cashier was kind enough to buy me a regular one. She let us keep the red one too! Kudos to her!!! However I downed that… Didn’t get wings. All I got was anxiety lol. The helmets have sizes on the chin. I chose the pink one size small. Wrap that neck pillow on. Why did I think it was a butt cushion? Grab some gloves from the clean bucket. Your race car numbers are assigned. Which was a bummer. The guy said car 10 is a lucky one. I never got assigned to that one. It took me 1 race to feel for the track and get over my fear. My heart was racing… Or was it the redbull? Car 3 was nice, hugged the track, great handling… I felt safe. I did however only land 2^nd place. Your names are printed on paper in your lap, speed, stats placement. Pretty cool! Soon as I saw how fast my girl was going it was GAME ON! I was absolutely exhausted. My elbows felt locked. That one race break I took wasn’t enough. I’m getting old. Race 2 I had car 15. He was crap. Totally scary it kept fish tailing on me at every turn. I didn’t let that stop me. I got first place. Atleast the breaks are decent. Prevented me from a couple crashes and spin outs. They spelled my name wrong. I was Jiul for the evening. It was a great night. If it weren’t so cold 3 races would have been awesome. I needed one more win.

Me and my fiancé went yesterday (Monday Night) the race was fun time flies by while your racing on the track we sort of enjoyed it. There was a few things I didn’t really like lets start with service everyone seemed to hate their job no one was even smiling. Secondly, before going to race the two men weren’t explaining anything mind you this is my first time ever kart racing so I didn’t know anything. My helmet was so big I couldn’t even really see and my neck brace feel off the first few minutes into the race (Not Safe At All) I did crash really hard into the side guards and my neck has been hurting since I couldn’t even feel that my neck brace had fallen off. The staff should be more observant and helpful.

Had an awesome time! Got the costco discount cards and saved a bunch. Head socks required ans not included. Suits provided optionally. Neck brace, clean gloves, and helmet provided. Staff was super nice and quick to respond to issues on the track. Races are super long, 10 minutes, and is just perfect. So cool picking up lots of speed and rounding corners fast!

If I could rate this place a ZERO STAR I would. PLEASE READ! BUYER BEWARE! We are here from out of state and celebrating my sons birthday and decided fast kart would be a fun thing to do. We called ahead to check the wait time for our group of 6, they said it would be about an hour, a bit long but we went anyway. After arriving and checking in, we watched a few races with multiple racers, then the track was closed so an employee could race by himself. He raced for a long time by, this seemed odd that they would do this. So now two hours have passed and we are still not racing. At this point an employee joined a group of racers and had some car trouble midway through the race, he and another employee were attempting to start/​repair the kart while other racers zoomed by, it was unlike anything I have experienced at any other track (see attached pic) Many friends of the staff were showing up and filling in the open spots of other groups, this also seemed strange. Finally it was our turn to race, me and my young sons were put into a group of other men. I approached a staff and asked if we could race just as our group like it normally is and he stated that because it was so late (7:30 pm on a Friday night) he had to combine the kids and other adults. From here the gate was opened and we had to again approach the staff and ask for a smaller helmet that fit properly, at that point the staff said «well, I could get a few more head socks and push in there on the sides to make it fit better.» Once in the cars they couldn’t get the junior cars started so two of our three kids were able to race. I had to verify they were seat belted myself. More issues continued to happen like: staff arguing amongst themselves in front of customers, staffing using very vulgar language, using e cigarettes on the track, inviting friends to race, giving me equipment that was to small (the neck support) and saying you don’t need to have it Velcro secure to work right, broken/​cracked helmets, no youth race suits, and more. It just comes down to completely poor management, this place was in complete chaos from the staff, equipment, to the physical plant. I will never go back to this place, I am genuinely worried someone is going to be seriously injured due to everything from extremely poor equipment maintenance to staffs ability to follow safety protocol. Luckily I was able to get a full refund, even after being told they do not give refunds.

CAUTION… wear the «optional», free race suit!!! Our beige, leather car seats told the whole story. Grease/​oil??? all over the leather and our clothes, because the staff said it wasn’t going to be a problem without the suits. There’s a better race place in town… electric carts, clean, more professional… much more enjoyable experience. You’ve been warned.

I was really excited to race the karts at FastLap. They advertised karts that hit 50mph and had power throughout. The course and facilities were excellent. I wish I could say the same about the karts themselves. On my first run, I had a blast with an excellent kart but my friend had a very underpowered kart. Then, my next run I had a kart with no top end. They switched me to another kart with no throttle response. This means that 3 out of 5 karts that we raced were malfunctioning! I observed that the staff would put the busted karts right back in line to be raced by the next unknowing customer. Those karts should have been set aside until they were fixed. I cannot recommend this place until they maintain their equipment properly.

We did 3 races and I thought it was a lot of fun. I couldn’t get a good feel of some of the turns, but I’m not a great driver. I would have loved some instruction on how to do better.
Overall it was a lot of fun and I would do it again.

We tried to come in at 9:35 and they turn us away. They told us they were closing even thought there was at least 25mins and one race is only 15mins. I had family here and we were trying to do something fun.

Loved it! It was a fun group activity. You can all race and choose a champ ;) fast cars and fun race track! The trick is on the turns ;) be careful! Lol wear comfortable clothes the cars are small. Have fun!!!

The air conditioning was either not on it not working md it was 95 degrees outside.
The drinks in the vending machine were warm!!!
I think next time we will go to Pole Position!

The kids that work here are very nice, however, the service is terrible. We waited 10 mins at the front desk before anyone decided to greet or help us. Once inside, we waited 20 mins in the indoor heat before the race even started. The employees are walking around on cell phones with sodas in hand. Bathrooms are disgusting and the building it self has been grossly neglected. It’s time for new management or new ownership.

Another tip: check Groupon for an excellent deal. We paid $ 12 per person for two races of 10 – 12 minutes each.
The karts go 50mph and require you to wear a neck brace and helmet. You are assigned a kart number so check the kart’s tire pressure before sitting inside or else you will have a bad time.
The weather makes you sweaty and thirsty. The vending machine drinks are $ 2 each.

Who doesn’t like the adrenaline rush from racing?! So I Found this place through Groupon it was a 2 for 1 price with 2 races for only $ 36 not bad super good deal! All we had to do was pay an additional $ 3 fee for the head sock/​helmet rental. My only problem was that my cart kept shutting down during the first race twice. Then died out completely but one of the staffs quickly came by with another go Kart and got me started to enter the race once again. It’s summer time in Vegas and the place has no AC! Luckily we went at night around 8:30 pm so it Wasn’t as hot if we were to be there earlier. We had tons of fun but I’d love it even more if they had a kitchen lol you know finger food menus (pizza, chicken wings, mozz) ect! But I guess as a customer the vend machine will do.

So much fun!!! I absolutely love this place !! People here have the most amazing customer service .

My girlfriend and I had a great time!
We came here for a bday weekend out in Las Vegas and used a groupon for two races we had bought. I will say that although the experience itself was great, I wish they had oriented us a little bit better on what to do and what to expect. The receptionist did show us a safety video, but I mean in the sense of what to do after that. We awkwardly stood inside of the little suiting up area to go out to the track wondering if we were just supposed to head out there, or what to do. After about 10 – 15 minutes of uncertainty, we asked a staff member, and he let us know when our names appeared on the screen, we could out. She nor I was entirely sure how to strap the helmet in properly, and just put it on as best as we could, and no one checked it.
Make sure to let them know that you have multiple races, as I’m not sure if the front desk communicates that info to the staff in the back as about 6 people came us with us to let him know they had paid for another race.
We live close to their other location in Ontario, CA and will be looking into visiting and possibly getting a membership because of our experiences here.
A word of advice, be sure to do your research and ask questions if you are unsure of something, as they don’t give you the best orientation :)

We grabbed a fast lap discount card from Costco for for laps. We made it out there and it’s nice. The coupon card however does not include the head covering $ 2 each. They bring you to the locker room for a safety video and some coveralls for everyone to share.
The coarse is not large and I found it boring at times. A «lap» is about 10 minutes long.
Remember to wear closed toed shoes!
