Epic Adventures Photography

Daniel was great. Our photos are incredible. We did a family shoot on the beach in La Jolla and then my son and I did a kayaking trip off the shores in La Jolla. I would highly recommend him for unique family photos that actually show like art work. I might take off half a star because his prices are very high. He did work with us on getting the best package within our price range and did work out a payment plan for us.

I bought a Living Social for approximately $ 70 for a gift. My son moved and was unable to use the voucher and it had expired. I thought well, I guess I would use it for the face amount or add a little more money to it. I met with Epic Adventures and was told, «Well unless you buy a photography package I really can’t honor this.» Then I was told the least expensive photography packages was over $ 1000. His work was beautiful, I just can’t pay that price, so basically I just gave him $ 70.00 for him to tell me the price. No, not a good use of my money and I learned a valuable lesson!

Our group had a really awesome time with Daniel. From the first moment we met him he made us feel at ease.
The adventure consists of kayaking, a mini hike, and a longer hike. Daniel makes everything enjoyable and is an extremely energetic, kind, and capable leader. To say that I really was in no physical shape to be doing the longer technical hike is an understatement, and I’m sure I would have given up if not for Daniel’s encouraging nature and determination. Getting to the top was worth it though, as are the amazing photos.
As for those photos, simply put, they are awesome. Daniel has a real gift for capturing a moment and making it look every bit as awesome as it actually was, and then even better than that.
