Element Las Vegas Summerlin

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this hotel! They saved our life when we were looking for pet friendly hotels. Military moved us here and we could only stay on base one day, this place totally accommodated us and our situation and went above and beyond what we expected! Great breakfast daily. They switched it up so you didn’t get bored with the menu daily! Heated pool, gym and fast wifi. The rooms were awesome as well. We got the kind studio cause we thought we would be staying for at least a week. Had a kitchenette and king bed, spa shower. Everything was very fancy! Incredible customer service! CHRIS at front desk always had a smile and helped my scan some very important paperwork. The maintenance mngr was also, very nice and understanding when there was an accident possible caused by our cats!
Would recommend this pet friendly hotel to EVERYONE!

It is a nice break I live in this area half the year. So I play a few table games the tourists were drunk and rude, but its another pleasant casino like an oasis.

Not only is it green, which is great for the environment, but it’s like a literally recycled hotel.
The room I have is huge! It’s basically an La apartment. Very clean, up to date, and full of space.
The breakfast is bomb AF. Seriously most hotels charge for this type of breakfast buffet. Also it was really fresh which you rarely get now a days. They even Made fresh smoothies which people devoured. Apparently they have dinner snacks but I have yet to see them lol.
Pet friendly and basically a dog lovers hotel as everybody I saw had a dog in tow,$ 50 one time fee and you’re all good.
Full kitchen and except a stove, everything you need. Barbecue pit and pool which is too damn cold to use right now
The fitness center is the best part, from many machines, to yoga Equipment, top of the line everything and it’s huge!
The whole vibe here is really good… seriously, grimy desk was so nice and chill

God bless America. I am staying at the presidential suite here in Element Las Vegas Summerlin. Full sized kitchen full living room. It ain’t the Ritz, however it is fun to stay at the presidential suite!

The Element are holiday heros. The generosity and kindness of the staff is really amazing. Highly recommend this hotel for any business or pleasure stays in West Las Vegas. Kudos to Sergio and Courtney!

What a great hotel! Felt very European and had very comfortable beds and pillows. Rooms have a nice efficiency kitchen with plates, cups etc. Buffet was very good and quick access to smoking areas. Great hotel.
Advice to management, Since the entire hotel is marketed as being «green» I was disappointed that your designers did not put any thought into water conservation. I would recommend that you replace the fancy flat surface sinks with a smaller round basin that the customer can fill using a stopper to do shaving etc. The current fixtures does not allow someone to fill a single basin of water to use economically. Also add shower heads with on/​off switches to save water during the shower. Has anyone seen the levels at Lake Mead lately?

I would not recommend this hotel solely based on the interaction with the General Manager and Director of Sales. We were having a ceremony in Red Rock for our family, sadly we were informed by the Bureau of Land Management that the location that we were suppose be using would be closed for renovations. So we decide that we would still keep our reservations for our 9 rooms at the Summerlin Element. Never seeing the hotel we decided to go and take a site tour of the hotel. We arrived at the hotel, we were surprise that it was in the middle of a business park. No where on the website does it state that you are in the middle of a business park and I am sorry, also it takes longer than 15 minutes to get to the Strip. I was not really impressed with the rooms, they did not look like the rooms that are portrayed on the website. The rooms looked liked something that you would find in dorm in college. The executive suite that is shown on the website, is not what was shown to us. We would be lucky if we were able to get 8 people in this room. Se we decided that we would look for accommodations off the strip somewhere. We cancelled all of the rooms except two that I need to call the hotel to cancel. So I called the hotel and spoke with a young lady there and she also was having problem cancelling the rooms. She said that she would work on it and call me back. Honestly, I forgot to get her name and she never called me back. Well, come to find out they charge my AMX for the two rooms. By this time I was not a happy camper and decided that I would not give the hotel a positive score on the survey. Lack of follow through on the front desk. So I sent a email to the General Manager regards to the charges on my card. This became a battle to have the charge reversed off my credit card

This is a great hotel. It’s quiet and beautiful. I’m here visiting family and instead of the smokey, loud casinos this is my pick. The pool is great with a big shallow seat to wade in the refreshing water.. There are cabanas to stay out of the heat as well. I wish there had been a restaurant in hotel because of my munchie problem but they do have a «pantry» of snacks

Such a nice hotel. The room is beautiful and had an awesome kitchen. All furniture is modern. I would definitely recommend staying here and stay here again. The breakfast in the morning is really nice too with yummy healthy options like smoothies, egg white sandwiches, and muffins as an example. Plus they are dog friendly.

BAD ELEMENT ON THE LOOSE!!!
Definitely not to be trusted when valuable is (accidentally) left. June 19, 2015 my friend and his business partners used the meeting room for a few hours. The meeting room is a secured room and the door locks automatically. However, after the meeting and all have left, my friend realized he left his bag with $ 10,000 in it. He returned to the hotel not long after and checked the meeting room and found his bag inside the room but all the money was gone. He reported to the management and talked to the General Manager who appeared not too concern or did not cooperate enough to investigate the matter. Up to this day, no feedback from the hotel or anybody. The General Manager did not even followed the protocol involving theft incident on the property (i.e. No exchange of contact numbers, area lockdown, search, cctv review, etc.)
This case has been filed at the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Probably one of the best affordable hotels I’ve stayed in and perfect for a family of 4 plus a dog!
First of all, this hotel is not only eco– friendly, but is pet friendly!!! Best of all, there’s NO pet fee. ZERO. NONE!
The standard rooms come with a full size refrigeration, stove top, microwave, and sink (of course)
The décor was modern… the bed and covers were comfy and but most of all… the rooms were spotless!
Daily breakfast comes with your stay and they were pretty tasty! Fresh pastries, eggs, sausages, and smoothie shot (they were delicious)
The hotel also has a nice gym that I used,…equipped with not only your treadmills, but eliptical machines, free weights and other machines.
Affordable and spacious because the hotel is away from the Strip… however, it’s only a 10 minute drive. Perfect for those who easily get annoyed with the crowd on the strip.
Did I also mention the President also stayed here? lol.
I will certainly be coming back to this hotel every time my family and I takes a trip to Sin City!

I really enjoy taking bubble baths when traveling… Something I often cannot do at home because I’m so busy! I’ve never been to a hotel with no bathtub — until now! I was pretty disappointed about that! On the flip side… Beds are comfortable!

I stayed at the Element on a business trip a few weeks ago and I can’t say that I was too impressed. I’m not high maintenance at all, but there were several things about the room that were not OK.
When I walked in, the bed was messed up. I called the front desk, they came up to move me to another room, but before they moved me, they asked me several times IF the room was messed up when I walked in because their records showed that they had cleaned the room. I said YES several times. I felt like they were asking me if I messed up the bed and demanded another room. I didn’t want to argue with the staff, so I chose to stay in that room. The next day when I came back to my room after my meetings, the bed was messed up AGAIN. I took photos. I’m not sure what they considered clean, but this was not it. There were issues all over that room. The bathroom sink had stains all over it, the lamp in the bedroom didn’t work, the curtains in the bedroom were broken, and the couch in the living room area had pillows thrown around. Anyway, I was only there for a few days and my work paid for it, so I guess beggars can’t be choosers.
I will say that the customer service at the hotel was STELLAR! That’s where they earned my stars. There was always someone at the desk, if you needed a cab, they were all over it and called you when it arrived, and if you had any questions or needed anything for your room, they responded right away. I would stay at the hotel again one more time, if anything, for the customer service alone. I think all hotels and businesses deserve second chances, so hopefully things will go better next time.

We visited family in Las Vegas and want to avoid the Strip and downtown, this is the perfect place to stay. It has a good location, is very clean and well managed (Vince was really helpful during the check in process) and has everything we needed in our suite. They even have a kitchenette with pots and pans, utensils. The seating area was large enough for three and a dog to visit comfortably. And the breakfast was great, a nice variety.

Came to Las Vegas for work and stayed at The Element. Such a beautiful hotel. It was clean and bright, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I noticed that it was a pet friendly hotel and I saw dogs but did not hear or smell them so that was nice. It was far from the strip but still close to get to.
I loved my room, my the window faced the freeway but was on the 3^rd floor so I was high enough where I didn’t hear the traffic. One of my colleagues was on the second floor with windows facing the freeway and she was able to hear the traffic.
The kitchenette was nice and clean where it didn’t look like someone was trying to make a 10 course turkey dinner and the refrigerator did not smell.
When I have to go to Las Vegas again for work I will definitely stay here. It gives me a calming feeling when I walk in the doors after a full day of non-​stop activity.

I really loved staying at this place! If you want to stay at a modern, clean, easy to get to hotel in Vegas without the casino environment, this is your place!
I love that the Element is in the Starwood family of hotels. This way I can rack up some rewards during my stay.
The hotel looks very hip, is clean, and is modern. Checking in was a breeze. My hotel room was pretty spacious, and included a kitchenette and desk area, which was great, because I was there for work. The bed was fantastic, and featured not one, but two down comforters. And of course all the linens were white, which is an absolute must for me.
The only negative that I could find was that there were some spots in the shower that could have used a bit extra cleaning, which is why I nocked the place down a star.
Will stay again!

A nice off strip option for couples and families who want the convenience of kitchens and suite room layouts on weekends. During the weekday, this place tends to be a haven for business travelers.
While the area seems to be very office park oriented, savvy travelers will go to the park two blocks to the north. The park has open green space and is a perfect outside escape.

The Element in Summerlin is a nice hotel. The best part about it is the staff. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable.
My only 2 complaints are that 1) A lot of the rooms have a dog smell. The hotels has quite a few dogs, so the rooms just get that odor. 2) There is not a «green choice» at this element hotel. For a hotel that advertises that it is environmentally friendly, I would think that it would participate in the green choice program. This is a way to be more environmental as well as let members earn some extra points.
I do recommend staying at the Element in Summerlin. Just be aware that it is about 20 minutes to the Strip.

I have stayed here now about 4 times for a total of six nights and counting, and aside from the loud charity event one night it has been great. On the surface it may seem a bit pricey, but when you add in the resort fees, wifi charges and overall annoyance of other hotels it’s not much more. For someone like me who would rather spend their time at Red Rocks instead of the strip I can think of no better place.

CONS
Some of the breakfast items (pancakes, bagel sandwiches) were hard/​chewy, likely b/​c they were prepared too far in advance. I tried going at the start of the breakfast window, but had the same experience.
