Meet the Business Owner
Jerry Y.
Business Owner
Jerry is the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion. He outlasted more than 6300 players and became the ultimate winner. Jerry came from a humble beginning. As a kid living in communist Laos, he was always hungry. His family escaped to their neighboring country, Thailand, in the 1970’s. He and his family endured almost 5 years in a refugee camp before coming to America. Here, he lived in housing projects and wore second hand clothes throughout his junior and high school years. He studied hard and excelled in college and became a psychologist. In 2005, he discovered poker on TV and was fascinated. He promised God that he would use the money for good if he won. Well, his break came in 2007 when he won a satellite seat at a local Indian casino in Southern California. In July 2007, he came to Vegas to play in the WSOP for the very first time and won. As promised, he donated more than $ 1 Million to various children’s charities both domestic and abroad. Come meet Jerry!
