So let me start off by saying that I read the negative reviews by others and was quite skeptical and now after my experience I suggest you disregard those views entirely!
As a lawyer and professional, I understands you can’t please every customer or client. However, I am glad I ignored the negative reviews. I decided to go with Durango Dental Group for all of my current dental needs and after my two experiences, I will continue to go there for all of my future dental care! Also, I paid less for extracting two teeth than my dad’s insurance coverage for extraction of one tooth with another dentist!
And this is why I give Durango Dental five stars! You won’t regret allowing this dental group to provide you with their excellent dental services!!! Thank you Durango Dental Group!!!

Let me just start by saying I generally hate dentist offices in Vegas because I feel like they’re always trying to rip you off and pay for services you don’t really need. This is definitely not the case at Durango Dental.
The appointment was super easy to make and I love that they’re open late on Tuesdays so I can come right after work. The overall appointment went very well. It was my first visit so I got X-​rays and a cleaning done. Doctor Matt was my dentist and he was super friendly and down to earth. He examined my X-​rays and did my cleaning within a one hour time span. Crazy fast for what you expect from a dentist.
The rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful too. I’m really glad I found this place and highly recommend it to any new inquiring patients!

Dr. Masaki and staff are exceptional professionals. I am a fanatic about my teeth and needed a new dentist. I am new to the LV area and found Durango Dental by driving around the neighborhood. I took advantage of their $ 49.99 special and am SO GLAD I did. Durango Dental has state of the art digital equipment, so there is no room for error. Dr. Masaki is very thorough, friendly, and an expert in his profession. He makes you feel very comfortable with your treatment and is very thorough in explaining your treatment. You will not be disappointed by choosing Durango Dental.

Dr. Masaki is one of the coolest dentist in town. All of the staff are amazing and caring. I tell everyone I know to come see Dr. Masaki!

Dr. Masaki is a nice guy and I really wanted Durango Dental Group be my dental office in Las Vegas. They accept my insurance and I could technically walk to the office, the location was so convenient.
But being a nice person and being convenient does not outweigh the negative aspects of Durango Dental Group. The place is expensive, yet I still elected to have procedures done. A regular cleaning turns into a «new laser technology gum treatment.» Ok great I am all for new technology! But during a filling there was a point when I could tell something was not done right– by the whispers and hurried exchanging of dental tools and asking who set up the tray. That was concerning to me but I trusted things to be fixed competently regardless.
Unfortunately, the «new composite» filling material used fell out within 72 hours of my visit, in the middle of a long business trip way over on the other side of the country. I call immediately and am told to go to a drugstore and get temporary filling until I am back in town to get it fixed. No notes were taken over the phone by the receptionist. I have weeks of an exposed nerve and hyper-​sensitive gums that severely impacted eating and even speaking. When I am finally able to be seen to repair the damage I am asked the whole story over again because there were no notes taken. At that point I am frustrated and disappointed enough I do not trust this team to be my dentist or even fix their own mistake. I get a referral to Dr. Masaki’s «mentor» over at Rainsprings Dental Group for the next day. Well the appointment was scheduled incorrectly and the dentist I was sent to see, Dr. Stokes, is now saying that the WHOLE original filling needs to come out because he can’t fix the patch job the other dentist tried to do. And there is not enough time scheduled for the appointment because it was made as just a consultation. These businesses are all part of the same dental group in Las Vegas. The shoddy work, lack of communication, and overall incompetency and disconnect between these dentists and their receptionists and staff is why both of these dental practices are one star establishments in my opinion.

I was here bright and early at 7 AM, the staff and the doctor were very very personable and friendly. They were able to get started with my children while I filled out the paperwork. I must mention that everything is paperless and I LOVE that. The procedures and the fees were explained to me with ease. I strongly recommend this dentist office.

I thought the staff at Durango Dental was fantastic. I felt well taken care of and my care was completely covered my insurance. I opted to get a chip tooth fixed and it was still pretty cheap.
Overall, the office was clean and everyone was nice

Such a rip of dental place. Even with my full coverage dental insurance it was super pricey. I will not recommend this place to anyone. They charge for every little thing. Probably will charge u to rinse your mouth with a cup of water.

Came to see Dr. Tobler today for my first cleaning in a year since having orthodontics removed. I had a decent buildup of tartar but he, Anna and Tina did such a thorough and excellent job. Like most, I’m no fan of going to the dentist, thankfully they made me feel comfortable and in capable hands. I will not be waiting so long in between treatments with this office again. Thank you Durango Dental!

Dr. Masaki and staff are nothing short of amazing! I have been going here for years with my whole family. They greet us by name. Dr. Masaki takes the time to get to know his patients. I never have to wait. Always on time with their appointments. I recommend this office to all my family and
friends.

I came here 4 years ago and was told I needed 2 crowns and 1 root canal. The dentist took forever to do it and it was incredibly painful (I’ve had a root canal before and it was a breeze). I did not go back to this dentist because my procedure was so long and painful which made me think that the dentist wasn’t very skilled at what he was doing.
4 years later, I get a regular check up with a different dentist and am told that 1 of the crowns done by Durango Dental has started to break. Now a crown is supposed to last at least 5 years which is why dental insurances won’t cover a crown that is less than 5 years old. I should add that my previous crown was done 10 years ago and it is still in good shape. I call up Durango Dental and they give me a sch-​bill about how they don’t know if the dental work and check ups that I’ve had in the last 4 years by a different dentist is at a standard of care as good as theirs so they aren’t willing to replace my crown.
Then I asked if they would be willing to give me a better price than what my dentist quoted me to replace the crown SINCE IT WAS THEIR FAULTY CROWN that broke before the normal 5 years. They say no but their price is the same as my dentist and ask if I want to make an appointment with them…
Umm EXCUSE ME??? WTF would I go back to you and PAY THE SAME PRICE for a crown that didn’t last as long as it was supposed to? I gave them the opportunity to show some professionalism, make a good faith effort to fix their mistake, and act as a reputable business, but they failed. Don’t waste your time and money going to them. You’ll likely need to have any work they do fixed by a new dentist later on.

Had to go to this location to get my wisdom teeth out because my regular dentist Flamingo Smiles had no Friday appts. The actual experience was fine. I left my card info to have a payment taken out on a certain date but called repeatedly to have the arrangment cancelled because there was fraud on my account. They never returned my calls/​emails and kept attempting to charge the card for days although I specifically stated that I was coming in to make a payment. Then when I got there I explained what happened and the recpt. Bre or w/​e was very nonchalant. I told her that I would be back in to make a payment after everything was resolved. 2 weeks later as I’m about to go in to make a payment I look and they’ve already charged my card for the full amount although I had not authorized them to do so!!! I told her that I was coming in to make a payment and there was no authorization for them to just charged whatever card they had on file, for whatever amount, on whatever day.
Terribly upset. Never coming back. Steer clear of this place. Go to their sister location that I usually go to, Flamingo Smiles. MUCH NICER office, doctors, and staff altogether.

it’s Very friendly Service and they had Unilocal checking offer to clean the teeth and get check up. Great staff and they always talk to you as your family. Didnt do anything Fancy! recommended!

Let’s be honest. Going to the dentist is never fun. But Durango Dental really makes it as enjoyable as possible. Saw a new dentist this morning — Dr. Masaki. Very friendly. Seems fresh out of dental school which, to me, is a huge plus, as he is eager, is up on the latest dental treatment options, fully explains treatment and seems to genuinely care. There was also a new office manager, Christy (I think), who is hands down one of the friendliest staff members I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The hygienist, Tiffini was really great as well. I almost bled out (just kidding!) because my gums are kind of a mess thanks to my brutalizing them with my Sonicare, but Tiffini was as gentle as possible.
Like I said before, I view dentists like used car salesmen, but Durango Dental is the exception, not the rule. If additional treatment is recommended, they explain why, the costs of treatment and leave the decision up to you. I have never felt pressured to pursue a recommended treatment if it is not within my budget. For that reason alone, I will continue to get dental care here. Highly recommend!

I have been coming here for a couple of years now and I can say for the first time in my life I actually don’t mind going to the dentist.
First, their customer service is out of this world. The reception associates are always so pleasant and nice. One thing that completely sealed the deal for me to becoming a loyal patient is how they go over the cost with you. You know how you usually see the dentist, they do all of this work on you and the whole time you are thinking to yourself how much is this going to cost? Well here at Durango Dental Group the dentist sees you and then someone from billing comes to you while you are still in your chair and goes over everything that needs to be done. She breaks down the prices and what your insurance will cover and not cover. And what makes it easy to understand is there is a computer screen in front of you and you can see everything they are listing when it comes to prices and insurance. I love knowing that I can agree to certain services and know the prices before the dentist starts working on my mouth. I also love how they remind you of your appointment through email and you can keep the date or reschedule witht he email. Love it.
Another thing I love is their technology. They have that computer screen in front of you with all of your dental information displayed and I got a good understanding of what is going on in my mouth from seeing that screen all of the time. They also have a camera that looks like a wand and they can take pictures in the back of your mouth. That’s how I knew I had to get my wisdom teeth removed. Ouch! But this is the first dentist that had a real camera and not just x-​rays.
Dr. Hoang is so nice and easy to be with. He seems to genuinely care about how you are feeling and he wants to help you. I have never seen him to be rude or in a hurry. I really like him.
I had my teeth cleaned by Tiffani and it was the most amazing cleaning of my life! I hate getting cleanings because they taste like crap and it is sometimes painful. I cannot believe she gave me a whole cleaning and there was not one uncomfortable or disgusting tasting thing once. It was the best cleaning ever.
I highly recommend this dental office. The staff is great, dentists are great, they did amazing work with my wisdom teeth removal and their cleanings are enjoyable.

During our first visit an emergency case had come in so everyone was offered the opportunity to reschedule. Everyone decided to wait and the entire staff cheerfully stayed more than two hours past closing to see everyone.
On subsequent visits the staff has been exceptionally friendly and professional. In addition they have gone out of their way way to work within our insurance caps.
Our family is new to Las Vegas and we feel lucky to have found such a great staff to provide dental care for all of us.

Went here as others did because of the Groupon offer. Had the first cleaning and at the time was told I’d need a «deep cleaning». Having been this route before I agreed and my insurance covered this cleaning. As I said I had been this way before and after this cleaning they began the crusade if you will. The hygienist informed me that this «deep cleaning» was not at all what the periodontist would give however they charged my insurance just as much as a periodontal deep cleaning would have cost. They also told me that they shunned the old fashioned however effective process of using antibiotics in the deeper pockets they found. This process works as my old dentist had proven years before this and after the deep cleaning by the periodontist. The kicker was the receipt of a letter from a periodontist suggesting I come by for a chat. Final straw and the hand-​off was in full process. As I said I have been to these fleece shops before and I will continue to go to old school dentists in it to keep my teeth healthy, not their own pocketbooks. Unless your teeth are falling out and you are in dire pain avoid these guys.

Everything was going alright, as well as a dentist apptointment can go anyway, until the dental assistant decided to just let me sit there and hang out in the chair for nearly a half hour, after she said she was getting set up to clean my teeth. Seriously, she just left me hanging, not knowing what was going on, all the while knowing I’m very uncomfortable at the dentist! When I finally got up to ask what was up, I was told it would still be another 10 – 15 mins till the hygienist could come clean my teeth. I had already been there for 90 + mins, there was no way I wanted to stay there any longer at that point. I ended up just rescheduling my cleaning, but not exactly thrilled about the idea of returning. Plus the quote they gave me on an implant, was so freaking ridiculous, even with thier so called discount plan, it’s more than 1k more than other places!

Many of us don’t have dental insurance these days, but we want to maintain our pearly whites, so we seek out affordable dental care to get our teeth checked and cleaned. I thought $ 39 was a sweet deal, so I made an appointment.
I arrived for my appointment promptly and took a seat to wait. 45 minutes of sitting, enduing some children’s movie blaring on the waiting room TV and I was escorted back. They took the x-​rays as the ad promised and then the doctor came back to have a look as I awaited my cleaning. I was told I have the early stages of gum disease and they couldn’t clean my teeth because it would do no good. They stated that I needed to have a «deep cleaning,» which runs several hundred dollars IF you decide to purchase their insurance to get the cost down. So with a $ 39 charge on my card, a quote of almost a thousand dollars and no teeth cleaning, I left Durango Dental.
With so many random strip mall dentists with no reputation in this town, I thought it would be best to go somewhere else to actually have a cleaning, check-​up and second opinion. That may cost a bit more, which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place, but they don’t try and rip you off.
I had my appointment and the second dentist said he said there were no signs of gum disease at all. I had my teeth scraped, polished and cleaned like any standard visit and was sent my on my way.
Visiting another dentist way cost more, but maybe this is just another lesson in getting what you pay for.
