My name is Simeon and I am the owner of Computer Doctor BG. I opened my first computer repair shop in 1999, and in Feb. 2010 I opened my second computer repair business in Las Vegas, Nevada.

These guys are great I brought my iPhone in and they did my repairs same day they were really nice and helpful they only use Apple parts and they go through it with a fine tooth comb plus they gave me a loaner phone. Also they didn’t charge me a penny cuz it was under Apple warrantee I also bought a new nice case that would have cost me like 35 40 bucks for 20. I definitely recommend them to every one I know that needs repairs or anything for their Apple devices. Keep up the good work guys

These guys do House Calls too! I had a virus in my Mac, needed my printer hooked up & updated parental controls. How can you beat an hour house call for $ 100? Alan is super professional & got my computer up & running. Highly Recommend!!!

I had moved to a new place and found that the backend connectors to my computer were shot. No way to backup files, because there was no way to plug in my monitor to see them. I had a deadline the next day and needed those files. Ouch.
Computer Drs to the rescue. They solved my problem. In 15 mins they hooked up their monitor (with new cable) to my tower backend, found that my files were OK, and loaded them to DropBox — so I’d have them always. Whew. Made my deadline. No «Hmm, let’s see, maybe we can help, come back later BS.» They rolled up their sleeves right then and there. Like a real doctor!
I’m a believer.
I’ve got a slow laptop, and so I’m going back to see if they can rev that up. RECOOMEND highly!

I typically do my own repairs. Unfortunately, during one such repair I broke the LVDS connector on a 27″ iMac. What this means is someone was going to have to do some precision soldering to fix the problem. (Incidentally, «precision soldering las vegas» was the Google search that lead me to this Unilocal page.) I sent a message from here requesting a quote, got a response and brought the machine in a day later.
It took a few days for the repair, but that was expected given the nature of the damage.
A few things: I got regular updates (automated) about the repair and it’s obvious that they’re really organized. I liked that a lot.
Additionally, their prices were better than Apple. These guys are certified so they can take your warranty repairs as well. Given my experience with the local Apple Stores to date, I’ll be using these guys for warranty repairs and DEFINITELY for non-​warranty repairs because their prices are much better AND their solution doesn’t appear to be «replace the logic board» for every repair.
So yeah, I’m very happy with the service and this is coming from someone who typically does his own repairs.

These guys saved me and my computer. Apple genius bar told me my macbook was done, had corrosion, a total loss… so 700 to replace the guts. Um no, for that I can get a new one. These guys replaced my keyboard and cleaned the inner board… oala working like new, for a fraction of Apples’ highway robbery.

Spilt water on my MacBook Air. Damaged Wifi hardware and left some residue on drive.
Apple Store wanted $ 755+.
Another store (which Apple had recommended) wasn’t sure of the issue and recommended me to buy a WiFi adapter.
My boyfriend came across Computer Doctor BG and fixed the problem within 24hours. Wanted less than $ 200. If you have any trouble with your computer, come here!

I brought in my HP Pavilion dv6 for a cooling fan replacement. The owner was out of town on vacation in Hawaii that week but it seemed like Brandon had everything going smoothly. I got my Unilocal discount and he kept me updated on the status of my repair pretty well. Only reason for 4 stars not 5 is because I was told the part would come in on Thursday by Amazon Prime (Next day) and the laptop would be ready that same day… the part didn’t come in until 2 days later for some reason and wasn’t able to get my laptop until Monday. I understand that would be more of an Amazon issue but as a customer of BG expecting use of the laptop on Thursday… it was a slight inconvenience.
Overall– I would definitely recommend this place for any computer repair needs!

My laptop had been crushed by the leg of a wood bed frame, the screen was crushed in and he screen cracked and colorful lol I thought it was done with. Brought it in yesterday and it was done in less than 24 hours! Brandon helped me out did a quick diagnostic and told me all about how they do things and they even had the right part already in stock for me. They send you a text and email when it’s ready so that’s cool. I came in because the reviews were legit so here I am leaving a legit review! Cool place

I brought in my MacBook Air because it was going SO SLOW. I had just replaced the HD because a different computer repair place said I needed to, there went about $ 200 bucks because it was still slow! (I replaced the HD myself so at least I didn’t pay those guys).
These guys fixed my computer in about 4 days, it needed the logic board repaired. Super great service, really friendly, and reasonably priced (I think it was $ 250). The next time I need work on a computer, I’ll be going here. :)
If they did phones, I don’t think I’d go anywhere else for electronics, ever (my phone just broke today!).

I recently had my Gateway desktop computer die on me, tried to turn it on, and nothing. So I brought it in to Computer Doctor BG where James did a quick diagnostic test on it. He wasn’t able to definitively figure out what was wrong at that time, so I left it with him, and waited for the result.
A day or so later I heard back from him that the motherboard was fried, and it would cost about $ 240 to have it replaced. He also informed me that they had a very similar PC in stock for $ 300 if I was interested in purchasing it. I made the choice to buy the refurbished unit instead of getting mine fixed. So they transferred my files over from my dead PC, and I was on my way.
Well, a couple days later, I decided that I made a mistake, and I missed my old PC. I went to the shop, told James that I wasn’t crazy about the computer that I purchased from them, and gave him the go ahead to fix the old Gateway.
They had to order the new motherboard from someplace back East, so it took a while to get my computer fixed. These guys let me use the computer that I purchased for as long as it took until my old faithful was repaired, which was way above and beyond what they had to do, and I really appreciated it. That’s great customer service!
When my computer was ready to pick up, I went in and was refunded the difference between the price of the computer I purchased, and the cost of the repair. This is the second time that I’ve dealt with these guys, and they are great to work with. If you have an issue with your computer, this is the place to bring it.

I am very pleased with the work done by Computer Doctor. I dropped my mid-​2012 MacBook pro over a year ago and hit the corner right where the hard drive is located. It worked for a while, and the clicking eventually got worse and it finally died. I got a screen with a folder that had a question mark in it once it was bad. Even worse I hadn’t performed a back up in nearly 2 years so I thought I lost everything that wasn’t on my external hard drive. Brought it in to the Computer Doctor and they took care of everything and they were able to extract all the data that wasn’t backed up and transfer it to a new hard drive. My computer is back, and I feel like I’m plugged back in to the matrix! A great job by the Computer Doctor! They also offer computer trades and had several computers for sale. I definitely recommend the Computer Doctor!

Came in here to fix a noisy fan on my PC and upgrade it. Got a great diagnosis of my computer before any charge. I left my
computer at the store and was waiting on new parts to be ordered. After contacting the owner a couple times in the days following, he let me know it would be about a week til it would be complete because of how long delivery would be, which was understandable. Luckily, he was flexible enough to work with me, I offered to get the parts at Fry’s and bring them in to be installed that day, I did just that and he fixed it right up for a very good price! Great service and experience, I will be going back here in the future.

Another Computer Doctor BG win! Had a twenty-​year old UPS burn up. One part was particularly guilty but I couldn’t get it desoldered. Simeon and James got the part out but did not feel that the unit was worth investing any more time in due to its age and the fact that some solder traces (the little lines on the cirucuit board) were burned out and repair is frequently unsuccessful.
Again, their fast and efficient work as well as their honesty puts them far beyond the Las Vegas computer repair shop. If it’s electronic, they can probably fix it. Computers are the easy stuff they do.
You won’t go wrong bringing your computer repairs to Computer Doctor BG.

I have a Mac book Pro 13 that I brought in here with a fried hard drive. I was on the verge of giving up and just settling and buying a regular laptop to replace it. But thankfully I stumbled upon Computer Doctor BG. Because of you guys I have bascally a brand new Mac Book Pro. Depending on the situation they fixed mine literally overnight. Would reccomend yo anybody with a MacBook. DONT SELL IT FIX IT HERE!

I don’t trust my computer with anyone. I knew my hard drive was probably fried when I came here so I didn’t have any unrealistic expectations. I only came here due to the good reviews.
The outside doesn’t look like much, but this will be the only place I bring my Macbook again.
They replaced my hard drive and battery for a decent price and completely cleaned my computer. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and honest which was very much appreciated.

I had been having issues with my macbook pro for about a month now with constant pop ups. Came in and met Simeon who is super friendly and welcoming. I went to a couple places other places who quoted me pretty high prices just for a diagnostic.
Simeon was able to get rid of the pop ups, and the laptop runs even faster now. His prices are super reasonable, and he was able to get it done in a day. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone

I can’t say enough good things about this business. My MacPro had the dreaded question mark in a box screen. Took it in and was greeted by a very polite computer geek… compliment! Left the Mac at the store with an assurance that I would get a call when the problem was repaired. BAM! 4:30 the same day rolls around with an unexpected call from Computer Doc saying its ready for pickup. Replace the HDD cable to the hard drive for $ 80 bucks. BAM! No data loss, no waiting for parts, back to perfect. You are not going to find this kind of service anywhere in Las Vegas. Props…
