History

Established in 2009.

After years of performing surgery on hundreds of satisfied patients, Dr. Lane Smith found a need to help maintain the beauty he helped create. And after investing over a million dollars in lasers and medical equipment, Chic la Vie Med Spa was born.

Business Owner

My father was a physician, who worked very hard to support our large family, but he loved his work. I believe that because of my father, I wanted to become a physician from a very early age. After finishing my mission for my church, I entered the University of Utah medical school as the youngest in my class at age 20. I was fortunate to graduate as one of the top in my medical school and was awarded membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.

I continued on that path through my fellowship, where I shaped my philosophy of medicine with my artistic sense of beauty. I could go on about all the awards, accolades and achievements, that look great considering I’m a quadruple board-​certified Surgeon. However, it’s the hundreds and happy men and women that I’ve helped gain confidence and enriched their lives that mean most.
