Bunkers Memory Gardens

This place is a disgrace. I have never seen a more disrespectful way to treat the dead. The actual grounds and facility are disgusting. They clearly take no pride in their property. While I’m crying over the loss of my loved one during the memorial, their staff are literally lounging on the furniture next me acting bored out of their mind. Don’t get me started on the way they basically dropped the casket into the plot. And forget about them marking the grave. Unless you’ve paid out thousands of dollars for a headstone they won’t even bother to mark the grave. Not until then. The next day I returned to say goodbye to my love, and as I am kneeling at his unmarked grave with dead grass tossed over it, I am watching a lady with a shopping bag steal trinkets off of headstones. Disgusting.

RUN away! I went in today to get some information and pricing for a memorial service I am planning for my father. The outside of the building is old and looks run down.
When I opened the door, I could immediately hear two employees talking loudly to each other. An older woman with an accent saw me come in but did not stop talking with the other employee to greet me. The other employee was apparently leaving for the day as the older woman said «I’m stuck here for a couple more hours unfortunately.»
I’ve been waiting unacknowledged for almost 10 minutes now. There also was another customer in a room off to the side waiting for the woman’s help. Finally, the woman comes out of her office and tells me «I’m gonna be a while» and walks away. No «hi», «I’ll be with you soon», no sort of greeting at all. I was completely in shock for being spoken to like that especially in a funeral home. I turned around and walked out.
I would never recommend this place to anyone. I never received any of the information that I went in for. I wouldn’t have paid them a dime for anything after being treated like that.
The woman working there needs some serious lessons in customer service and compassion if she’s going to be in that line of work. Or better yet, just retire as she seems to hate her job anyway. I wish I could leave ZERO stars!
