Northwest Arms

This shop is being run like a pawn shop. They advertise that they buy, sell, and trade guns so I tried to trade a mint $ 600 gun towards a $ 600 gun they had for sale. I know the current gun prices online and in local gun shops. The female staff lied and said my $ 600 gun was selling for $ 425 new on Gunbroker, total lie, and that they could give me $ 300 store credit for it. I have no problem with a gun shop making money but it shouldn’t be with lies to take advantage of desperate and uninformed people. I laughed at her and walked out. I will not spend a dollar in there.

The creepy guy with the glasses shouldn’t be working here didnt know what he was talking about and rude. I use to come here all the time not anymore ill find a new gun store

These folks are good to go, they are always very helpful and usually always have what I’m looking for. They were especially very helpful when my wife was looking for a gun that felt comfortable, they had no problem showing us everything she wanted to look at and hold. I’d recommend this shop to anyone I know.

Bait & Switch, no integrity. I was looking for a Gen 4 G19 for my friend. She called and asked if there was one in stock and was informed they had 1 left. Less than 10 minutes later we arrived to see a Gen 3 G19 in a display case. We asked about the Gen 4 and were advised «it just sold» REALLY? You managed to have a seller inquire about and inspect the weapon, complete the ATF form and background check, pay and walk out in less than 10 minutes? Not happening. The display case also did not have ANY missing Glocks indicating that the one we wanted was removed and sold. Oh wait, once it sold they immediately ran to the back and put another in its spot prior to our arrival because they move so fast.

This is a great place to get your fire arms. Ive read some comment here and what makes me laugh is one review said that they didnt help him because he was black lmfao get out of here your the problem been here for a few time bought 2 handguns here and you cant beat the price and the customer service is amazing. O by the way im as black as they come. Thank you.

Great experience with a gun purchased from out of state. Super friendly staff on a day that the store was absolutely packed. The person that helped me ensured that all my questions were answered and took the time to make sure I filled out all the paperwork correctly the first time while helping multiple customers. Highly recommend Northwest Arms and I will definitely return in the future.

I came in July 16^th looking for a small firearm. I was very happy that Michelle took the time to listen to what I was looking for and not try to push something on me that I wasn’t interested in. After I got home, I realized the wrong model was listed on my receipt. They assured me I could come in anytime for a receipt reprint.
I returned 8÷4÷2015 for a case for a different firearm and a range bag and the young man working was very friendly. I feel like the prices are competitive because the case and range bag I ended up purchasing would have been more online once I factored in shipping. While I was there, he did the receipt reprint and all was well.
On a side note, I think they have a great selection of things for women. I got the pink Voodoo Tactical range bag and I LOVE it!

Best place to shop for ammo and guns. Small store but a massive selection of everything. Come here for my ar15 parts and ammo. They have the good brands. Love their selection of pistols, revolvers and the larger guns. Get tannerite there. Best prices in town. Oh did I mention that the staff is super knowledgable and friendly. From the owner to the owners son and the rest of the employees. Also love the walking dead and absolutely love the Rick poster on the wall. Absolutely love this place!!! We are there every week for new stuff!!!

Highly recommend this store! Employees were extremely helpful and polite. Looking into getting an AR15 and the guy working was very informative and friendly. Always a plus when you go into a place and get greeted by polite employees.
Very good variety of handguns, rifles, attachments, and accessories, shotguns. They even sell used guns too. They took their time in helping me decide which gun to purchase and that was a plus.
There are not much arms dealers on the northwest side of town, and this place really does stand out due to their great employees, arms selection, and overall knoweldge and helpfulness. I would recommend this place to all in the area looking to purchase and I myself wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you!

This has to be my favorite gun shop ever!
The employees are very nice & knowledgable about all their products & guns.
They take their time to talk to you & make sure you leave with the things you want.
They go above & beyond to help us find exactly what we are looking for. Rather than just giving us something to get us out of the store fast.
I buy all my ammo here & they’re always more than happy to help me when I come in.
I don’t see why there are any bad reviews when I’ve had such great customer service each time.
They have an extremely vast variety of firearms & lowers. There is something new each time I come in.

Very helpful staff with great customer service. They were able to answer all my questions and were able to help me get what I need. Never had any fuss any time I was there. Bought some night sights for my G19 and they said they could install for me. I didnt have it so I brought it in the next day and installed it for me quickly with no hassle. While I was waiting the attendant asked if I needed anything. Even though I was waiting I was glad that he took time to make sure I was taken care of. Most definitely coming back.

I had been to a few popular gun stores in town prior to consulting Northwest Arms. As a first time gun buyer and a woman, I had a lot of questions and concerns about safety/​laws/​gun variations, as well as a multitude of other concerns. This crew was outstanding at not only answering my questions, but handling my case with an extremely professional demeanor. They took time with me and treated me fairly, kindly, and patiently. I felt a few of the other more popular gun shops patronized my case and made me feel a more than inferior about my gun familiarity, (or lack of). I would highly recommend Northwest Arms and their services to anyone! 5 stars all the way :) love the new gun! Thanks guys.

Buyer beware! Visited the store today to inquire about trading a gun for store credit. Not surprised that a lowball offer was quickly fed to me… not a big deal it’s business. The real reason for the visit was to find an FFL to do a transfer (receive a firearm from out of state). A new tax law states that when purchasing a firearm from out of state, sales tax must be paid to complete the transfer. However, if buying the piece from a private seller, as opposed to a retailer, no tax needs to be paid. The lady behind the counter didn’t care about the law. Why should she? It’s her business she can do whatever she wants right!?! Wrong. Her response, «I charge tax on all transfers!» Ok… but the law says… forget it I’m outta here. Why would you go to a store that has such bad reviews when there are ones with such glowing records of service like Freedom Firearms.
Was in the neighborhood and decided to stop by… big mistake.

You kinda proved my point in your response. You are the one with the FFL, right? We, as customers, are trusting you to do what’s in our best interest. So, with that being said, why wouldn’t do whatever you can to determine if the sale was from an occasional/​private seller? If you don’t have the resources to do that maybe you should just stop doing transfers because the way you’re doing them now is irresponsible. Either do them right or don’t do them. I’m not concerned about paying the extra $ 300 in taxes… if I have to pay it. However, if I don’t HAVE to give the state that money, why would I? Also, obviously I didn’t interpret the law incorrectly when you basically repeated what i said. I would say go ahead and sue me, but based on how many bad reviews you have, I think you should save your money because you’re not going to be in business for very much longer.

I live just around the corner from Northwest Arms and for the past 1.5 years I have always received quality service from them. I’ve seen them help countless customers… ALL customers, with great care, patience and kindness. Everyone I saw enter the store is acknowledged, and helped as fast as possible.
Northwest Arms can get very busy, they have many regular customers and their guns for sale can be unique and with good pricing. But I’m always able to get some help fairly quick, if it’s real busy I just check out their accessories and wait for it to clear out a bit. They have a good selection of various accessories from Magpul to Voodoo and more. recently I got Voodoo Tactical Scabbard from them, just a bit higher than Amazon. but not too much.
Great gun shopping can be done here! They usually have some consignment guns as well. Numerous AR’s, AK’s are on the wall and their display cabinets are full of newer Semi Autos and more. I recently picked up a SBR AK there for a great deal. They also a good selection of hard to find ammo, and your standard calibers are there in bulk, 500 and 1000 round boxes.
And for transfers they can’t be beat. I’ve purchased many. many guns on gunbroker and having Michele and Patrick at Northwest Arms help with the paperwork and everything else makes it sooo much easier. It’s nice to go in there, fill a few lines in on a form, get my blue card. They truly make it easier than other shops, and are a pleasure to deal with.
Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

WOW for how bad this store was!
My hubby and I were out and about today and noticed this store tucked in the back of the shopping center we were visiting. My hubby is into all things manly right now, so we went in to check it out and see what they had. Well, we should have just kept on driving! We walked in and not one person spoke to us. We stood there looking around and trying to catch someone’s eye, but it just seemed like we were a bother and not good enough to be helped. My husband noticed one of the employees just hanging out on a couch and not doing anything. After a couple of minutes of feeling unwelcome, we just left to go on with our errands. The atmosphere was quite uncomfortable and strange.
Oh well, too bad for Northwest Arms because they lost some good customers who will just keep going to the other manly stores that like us instead.

Stopped in to have a looksee at this store. Guns, rifles, knives, archery stuff, you name it, they got it.
Knowledgeable staff to help point you in the right direction, price wise, I’m not too sure of, as we don’t frequent gun shops/​gun shows, or anything like it very often. Looking to add to your collection or for some security in the household? You might find something here at Northwest Arms! ALOHA!!!
