What a great resource for the local community. They offer a wide variety of classes for free of minimal cost for anyone that wants to attend. I recently attended a CPR class onsite, and it was one of the best CPR classes I have taken. The instructor use to be an EMT in New York, then moved to Las Vegas and began volunteering to teach others CPR. The classroom was bright and clean. A comfortable setting for learning, snacks and refreshments available. They had plenty of practice dolls and supplies for us to learn proper techniques of CPR. I would definitely go back. I feel very confident in my skills now.
They also offer Exercise and Fitness Programs, Prenatal Education, Family Education, Safety & Injury Prevention, Health Screenings, Spiritual Development,
Heart Healthy Education, Support Groups, Parenting Classes, Teen Talks, Breastfeeding Support and Pump Rentals, and Physician Lectures. Just check the website for a calender of events.
