At Chambers & Associates OBGYN and Gynecological Surgery, PLLC we offer labiaplasty and vaginal rejuvenation. We provide competent, compassionate, reliable, safe and evidence-​based care that we would want for members of our own family. Dr. Chambers practices the full scope of obstetrics and gynecology. Furthermore, he is also the only board certified Ob/​Gyn in Nevada who is also certified in sexual health medicine. As a gynecological surgeon who was raised and positively influenced by women, he recognizes that all women want to look and feel beautiful. So, he offers minimally invasive gynecological surgeries, such as hysteroscopy, Essure tubal sterilization (with no surgical scar), single-​port laparoscopic tubal sterilization with the Filshie clip, laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy, vaginal hysterectomy and cosmetically-​pleasing Cesarean section incisions. When appropriate, his primary Cesarean section incisions are made below the pubic hairline and are closed normally with sutures, not staples. Dr. Chambers actually sits and talks to his patients. He does not practice assembly-​line medicine.

In 1992, Dr. Chambers earned a bachelor of science degree in Chemistry with a minor in Biology at American University in Washington, D.C. He then studied Biomedical Sciences at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA. In 1998, he earned his medical degree from Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. His obstetrics and gynecology residency training was at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y. During his residency training, he was awarded the Best Resident-​Student Teaching award for three consecutive years, he was inducted in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, he served as chief resident and at his graduation in 2002 he was awarded the Robert E.L. Nesbitt, M.D. Outstanding Resident in Obstetrics & Gynecology Award. He moved to Las Vegas in 2003 where he has been named a «Top Doctor» several times. He has added training in female genital plastic surgery and sexual health medicine.

It is a challenge to find a good gynecologist in any city and Dr. Chambers was referred to me by a good friend who now no longer a patient for the reasons I am about to detail.
Dr. Chambers, while he has a good bedside manner, does not manage his office at an optimal level. The women who work in the office are ill mannered, unaccommodating and disorganized. This most likely is not their fail but a direct impact of Dr. Chambers direction.
I have been a patient here for almost two year and 3 weeks ago had an urgent matter. I called immediately and was told it would be 3 weeks to get in! Really? I’m an existing patient. I took their appointment 3 weeks out and in the meantime had to pay $ 150 to see a doctor out of my network.
Today is my follow up and as I have taken be morning off work and need to be seen as its urgent, I was just told he is not showing up for 2 more hours. We can wait or reschedule. This does not work for me. The last few times I had an appointment with him the exact same thing happened — you wait for hours for him to show up or they cancel you.
Now I have to go see another gynecologist and will never go back to Dr. Chambers as he is unreliable.
I was direct with the staff today and told them this was poor business practice and like my friend who left this doctor for the same reason, I will not be going back.
Dr. Chambers — clean up your practice and manage your schedule better. Be reliable and dependable. Make time for your patients, all patients or hire more doctors as your associates.

Dr. Chambers was my doctor for both my pregnancies and I could not be happier with the office visits, or the deliveries. Dr. Chambers is knowledgeable, a solid communicator, positive, and has a wonderful sense of humor. The office staff is wonderful as well! Thanks for giving me two, healthy, happy kiddos!!!

Dr. Chambers is my favorite Doctor! He has so many patients and treats you like your his only one. He is so funny and caring and has the greatest bedside manner. I saw reviews where patients complain about the wait, and it is long sometimes and sometimes appointments get cancelled. He will be there for his patients in emergencys and I had my first child almost 7 weeks early and he was there in 20 minutes. Baby’s will come when they come and am so thankful to have a Doctor I can count on in a scary situation. I had a c section and you can’t even see a scar from this procedure. I am pregnant with my second child and Dr. Chambers is my Doctor of choice for this pregnancy and I highly recommend him!

Dr Chambers is the best in Vegas. LITERALLY! Dr Chambers is patient, knowledgeable, hss a great sense of humor, and is very understanding. Yes at times there is a wait to see him. This is because he treats EVERY patient as if they are important and spends as much time with you as you need. He answers all of your questions and does not rush you out of the office which can cause a little bit of a longer wait but trust me, he is worth every minute.
I started to see Dr Chambers during my first pregnancy. Dr Chambers walked myself and my husband through the entire process. Dr. Chambers is also very well respected throughout the medical community and I felt a sense of pride when I went to the hospital and advised Dr Chambers was my Dr. The hospital staff treated my with a higher standard because they knew what my Dr. required.
If you want a professional Dr who you can trust then Dr Chambers should be your choice. You may have to wait sometimes to see him but know that you are in the best hands and when he does see you, he will not rush you out of his office for the next person which is common in most other Dr offices. Dr Chambers staff also knows each patient by name and greet you as such instead of treating you like a number.

Sure, there’s always a long wait when seeing Dr. Chambers, but it’s because he is very thorough with his patients and answers any questions the patient might have (trust me, I once came in with a page long of questions and he answered each and every single one of ‘em, and never once rushed me). Something unfortunate happened to me, and he was really very empathetic. He was one of the few doctors my husband and I really liked and felt comfortable with. No matter how bad the situation was, Dr. Chambers really made me feel like he cares for both my physical and emotional well being. I am very glad that I stumbled upon him on Unilocal,and happy that I finally found an OB who is on the same calibre as him.

Dr. Chambers is a wonderful doctor. We had just moved here from out of state last year and after years of fertility issues I found out I was pregnant the night before my first appointment with Dr. Chambers. After my appointment I knew he was the doctor for me. I had a lot of anxiety during my pregnancy due to previous miscarriages and he helped ease my fears. You can tell he cares about his patients and he treats you with respect as a woman. He has a wonderful charming personality and is incredibly smart. You can tell he loves what he does and when you go to him you will see that. He works non stop. He delivered our beautiful baby boy and we will be forever grateful.
Regarding the long waits: yes you do wait but it’s not because he is sitting around it’s because he is working. He will never make you feel rushed and you can ask all the questions you want and you will be treated like you are the only patient he has. The way I look at it is if he is delivering a baby and taking his time to make sure all runs smoothly and stitches are done perfectly wouldn’t you want that same care done to you instead of being rushed? The wait is worth it. Perfection takes time,
I’m not someone that typically writes reviews but I found Dr. Chambers through Unilocal reviews and I would hope this review would help someone else that is looking for a doctor.

Dr. Chambers will forever be my favorite doctor! I remember my first visit to his office. My husband and I could only make Saturday appointments, so there we sat at 9am. My husband moved his mom all night prior to the appointment, so he was exhausted and sleepy. He slept for the entire time we waited in the waiting room. Not to mention the obnoxious snoring that was escaping his mouth. I was embarrassed. Each time I nudged him to stop snoring, I would also express my disgust with having to wait for so long. He urged me to be patient and reminded me that he’s the only OB doctor with Saturday appointments. Finally, we had our turn. I’ll admit I was ready to change doctors and not happy about waiting. That is until we had a late night scare right at my 6month mark. As I laid in the triage room in labor&delivery, I remember being nervous and wishing a familiar face would help comfort my worry. We had been there about an hour and the nurses were monitoring me. Like a knight in shining armor, I heard this familiar voice. At 1:30 in the morning my husband and I were greeted by Dr. Chambers. He showed up to make sure all was okay with baby and I! I was very pleased! From that night on I never complained nor cared how long we had to wait. When I needed my doctor, he showed up for me. He reassured us that baby was fine and that things were normal.
My hats off to Chambers for choosing to deal with general public, for I can only imagine how most people can’t see past their own vagina to see that he does this job because he truly loves and cares about his patients! While I was ready to leave his office after waiting on the first day, I was grateful that he came to give me care when I needed him. I will never judge him again for keeping me waiting, because he just might be tending to a patient that is scared and needs her doctor! Keep up the good fight Chambers!

Great Doctor! He Delivered my two boys, if you want a good doctor that won’t rush you and answers all your questions, he is the go to doctor. He has a great sense of humor, and will make you smile.
He is a great Obgyn, therefor the wait time might take a little longer, but it is worth the wait. And he is busy, so start scheduling your appointment as soon as possible :)

I called in march to schedule an appt for an annual check up. First available was end of april so I took that date. When Bianca called to confirm my appt, I told her I just got off my period so she said I have to be 2 weeks out from my period to be seen by the doctor. Next available appt for me to be seen will be mid june. If it’s going to take this long for me to even schedule an appt, I can’t imagine how long the actual wait is to see the doctor. Needless to say, I’ll have to take my business elsewhere.

I first come across Dr Chambers in 2004, he delivered my first Son. I had postpartum complications which caused excessive bleeding. Not only did he save my life but also my Uterus. Giving me hope of having another baby. 10 years later after finding out I was pregnant I of course looked him up. Not only did he remember me but he was hAppy to see me ! He is caring, very professional and most of all extremely knowledgeable. He never rushes you and allows you to ask as many questions until you are comfortable. By far the best OBGYN! However the down side is his staff, they tend to be unwelcoming and rude. The wait time is always a issue but it’s worth the wait in my opinion.

I waited over 3 hours in this office. I finally walked out and was never seen. I have never been to a doctors office like this in my life. Unless you are pregnant you will wait til every pregnant woman is seen. After waiting in the lobby for two hours then they sent me to a room and came in two different times before having me disrobe for my exam. I left before that point. The doctor was on his phone at the desk while a student came in and asked several more questions to kill even more time. Terrible practice. I’d rather pay cash somewhere else than go here and use my insurance. What does that tell you?
AWFUL. I should have listened to my friend that went to him once in the past and said she waited almost 3 ½ hours to even be called back. Apparently this is the norm at that office.

Dr. Chambers is the best OBGYN in Las Vegas! My baby was hard-won，so i was overprotection my tummy during my pregnancy，Dr. Chambers was very amiable patience！For me, that was very nervous 280 days, I always afraid to lose my baby, but Dr. Chambers always make me feel relax and safe. When delivery, Dr. Chamber gave me median episiotomy, that was very experienced approach，I can’t even feel pain at the next day，He also has super suture skill（my husband love it ^_​^ ）.So! I love Dr. Chambers! My family love Dr. Chambers!

Love doctor Chambers! I have seriously found my permanent OB.
Doctor Chambers is very caring and thorough when it comes to visits. He asks questions and makes sure you’re well taken care of. I’ve never left his office with questions or concerns. The wait times are *sometimes* long but it’s to be expected with how sought after this doctor is; not to mention he is the only doctor in the office so he is the only one you’ll see. (This was important to me because I like to feel a sense of trust with any doctor but especially one this intimate.) On the short of it I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I first scheduled my appointment when I found out I was pregnant from a home test and I looked up every review on doctors I was considering. Doctor Chambers won hands down and there I was in the lobby for my first appointment. The staff is wonderful and welcoming not to mention through out your visits they remember everything about you and speak to you on a first name basis. The office is very modern, clean, and welcoming. It took around 15 minutes in the waiting room to be called back (After finishing my new patient paperwork and providing insurance) once in my patient room it was about another 10 minutes before doctor Chambers came in. I asked a million questions (Some I’m sure we’re silly but I’m a first time mom) and he answered every single question I had.
Fast forward to months of great visits and everything going well for my pregnancy; I go in for my scheduled visit and my blood pressure is crazy high. After having it checked twice by doctor Chambers and the staff and it still reading high he sent me directly to labor and delivery at Southern Hills Hospital. Good thing too; after being checked, admitted, and delivering my son six weeks early via C section due to preeclampsia I am ever so thankful to doctor Chambers. He saved me and my son and I’m ever so grateful. I will definitely stay with this office!

I called to make an appointment with Dr. Chambers when I took a few pregnancy tests and they all came back positive. I was rudely told that I would have to wait until I was nearly into my second trimester and was given an appointment for 7 weeks later– when I would be 11 weeks pregnant. This is my first pregnancy so, needless to say, I was anxious to get in to see a doc and have someone verify the pregnancy, hear a heartbeat, etc. Not only was the reception staff not interested in getting me in earlier than 11 weeks, but the woman I spoke with was very rude and when I asked a few questions (again, first pregnancy here!) she sighed LOUDLY and reluctantly gave me half-​answers to my questions.
I made an appointment with a different local doctor (who had tons of positive Unilocal reviews) and got in within one week.

Dr. Chambers is the best OBGYN you will find in Las Vegas. He is very knowledgable and very respectful. What a smart Practitioner he time is very valuable, he will spend as much time as needed until you fully understand whats needed at that time. You will have to wait sometimes so pack your patiences he is worth the wait. I know what your thinking my time is valuable also we our time is but if you want the best he is the doctor for you. Also have to talk about his ladies (staff) he expect the best because he gives the best. They are very nice.

I think they only treat you well if you are pregnant or want to become pregnant.
Each time I’ve gone I’ve had to wait 2 hours past my appointment time to be seen, and when I’ve asked if I could go take a walk and have them call me if it will be a while, I’m told «no you’re next, just 5 minutes.» They then take 30 minutes and put me in an exam room to wait another 30. But that’s not the worst part…
I’ve tried to ask for an IUD my first appointment and was told no the first time. After my second I finally got him to say yes. When I fought for it, I had to call 2x to remind them to submit the request to insurancr and then wait 6 weeks. By this time, I’ve had to switch my pills a few times because they ran out of the sample birth control he originally had me on and (it was discontinued), my period is irregular (missed 2 months) and he refuses to insert my IUD unless I’m at the end of my period. Twice when I called to schedule the appointment and asked what I was supposed to do if I don’t get my period, the receptionist just kept repeating I have to get my period. 3 months later when I am spotting, they refused to squeeze me in for an appointment and I have to wait another month. Nowhere else have I heard this rule, but based on Dr. Chambers trying to talk me out of an IUD and discussing how they don’t carry them because he doesn’t make money off of them, I’m convinced he is preoccupied with getting money from delivering children and does not care about us women trying to get a regular check up and/​or prevent pregnancy.
If you’re pregnant, you’ll be treated like gold. If you’re not, prepare to get poor customer service, and frankly, no service at all. I’ll be looking for a new provider.

Dr. Chambers is personable and professional. My quest to find an OB-​GYN is finally over!
He’s great at explaining things in a way I can understand (no medical/​big words/​mumbo jumbo). He put me on Clomid to help me get pregnant… although that did not work for me and my husband, I will still be using him for my OB-​GYN needs. He does not rush the appointment at all, and wants you to make sure you understand everything before you walk out the door. I really like that about him.
His staff is very helpful and friendly as well. Although there is a short wait before seeing him, it’s not as bad as some of the other offices I’ve visited in the past. He is worth the wait!

Dr. Chambers and his staff are absolutely wonderful. Everything I would expect in a great doctor is here, and then some!
In my many visits I’ve had only to wait once and that was because he was rushing to the hospital for a delivery. And I was GLAD to wait knowing that Dr. Chambers was helping someone who needed him right then and there.
That, his professional and respectful manner during exams, his thoroughness and efficiency in getting results back to you ASAP, and his general caring and informative demeanor earned my immediate and long lasting trust.

Look, I get that everyone has different expectations and needs when it comes to doctors, and that’s fine. I know some people aren’t as patient as others, and maybe I’m more laid back than some people who have been here and didn’t like the service. But I can say, without a doubt, this is the best doctor that I’ve ever been to.
I will make this simple. I felt respected at all times, I felt appreciated at all times. I feel like I was spoken to like an intelligent person. I was given all the information I needed to make the decisions I needed to make. My little girl and I were absolutely taken care of by Dr. Chambers.
We had a perfect pregnancy until about a month before the due date. Everything went wrong, and Dr. Chambers handled it wonderfully. I literally put my life and my daughter’s life into his hands, and he did not disappoint. I had NONE of my plans go the way I wanted to, but Dr. Chambers helped me have the very best delivery possible. I would recommend him to any of my friends.

Dr Chambers is a nice guy. He knows what hes doing and makes sure to talk to you through it all. I never really had a problem until this week.
I had an appointment to get my depo shot (which literally takes him 1 minute to do) at 2pm on a Monday afternoon. Upon my arrival i was told he was out on lunch and wouldnt be back until 2:30. First off I had an appointment. Why was I being forced to wait on him? He should have planned his day better and been back for his appointments. I waited until 3 and he still hadnt shown up and receptions call to him went to his voicemail. I left mad and reschedule for the next day. I did make sure to tell reception that if he was going to be more then 15 minutes late in the future to call me so i can reschedule/​replan when i should arrive.
Next afternoon comes around and I make it early to my appointment at 3. No biggie. At least he was in. I have my baby with me this time. It took over an hour from my appointment time before he even saw me! My baby was screaming the last 15 minutes or so and no body cared. I brought up my displeasure when he finally saw me and his reply was «Well things happen.» No apology.
The disrespect I was shown this visit was unbelievable. His time isnt any more important then my own. If he was running behind they should have called like I told them to do the day before (and yes it was the same girl at reception both days).
I cant decide if I should find a new doctor or not. I never had any problems before now. Which is the only reason I gave him 3 stars today. Im seriously disappointed.
