The piano players were douche bags. They were telling women to kiss they were singing about how they wanted to grope breasts. Next he says to a guest that he gives permission(to the guest) slap(the guests) girlfriends«ass until it jiggles and hurts.» Then proceeds to call her a bitch. This whole exchange came out of no where. The service was fine and the drinks expensive after paying $ 5 cover per person. Skip this place and the dirt bag pianists.

Bar man extremely rude, after serving us told us we had to move on as other people want to sit but there was no one in the area. I will not suggest going there,

So much fun! Piano bar. Dancing. Music. Lots of people. Mario, Marco, Phil, and Gary… there are more I’m sure. But these guys took great care of us! Must do in Vegas!

One of the best nights I’ve ever had in Vegas. The dueling pianos were awesome! Pay the 15.00 for VIP seating it’s worth it! The drinks were around 8.00 dollars and they didn’t skimp on the booze.

The group I was with went twice during our recent trip-both because of the great piano player/singer, Brian Kraus(sp.?). Both times was a late afternoon/early evening and he had the crowd into it. The bar itself is fine. If you get a table you’re set and the service was good. It’s right in the middle of the place and I recommend going on Friday and/or Saturday between 3 and 7 for a similar experience to cap off your day and/or to start the evening.

The bar venue is on the smaller side. The music was okay and the clientele was mostly middle aged to older white people. The doorman was incredibly unfriendly and rude and that was the most memorable moment of the evening.

Cool place, frequented by locals and visitors. I would say that the best times to come are during the weekend. That’s when they have a dj and everyone is dancing and enjoying the evening. The drinks are strong, my friends always enjoy the apple martinis, lots of fancy drinks for women to enjoy. Their 7 and 7s are good, and beer is always cold. Some locals stay away from the strip, but this bar has a good mix of people.

This is the biggest rip off in Vegas and I’m embarrassed to be from a city with a place that disrespects people So much the way they do. Not only do they charge $ 25 for a table & $ 10 to get it, while still paying $ 9 a beer, but they also let their piano players fleece the patrons. Buy a song for $ 10 and the piano guy encourages the drunk fools to pay more to stop playing the song. It’s rude. It’s wrong and MGM Resorts should be ashamed for allowing such whoring tactics at its properties. Valet and baggage handlers aren’t permitted to hustle for tips so why should a jerk piano player. Stay away from this tourist trap.

Well this is a bit overdue but since I am going back to Vegas in a month I thought I would review my last trip. I was in Vegas a couple months ago for a bachelor party. We were staying at New York New York, and I had always heard great things about the duelling piano bar. I play MyVegas app game and was able to claim a $ 50 drink credit to Bar at Times Squares. So we decided to check it out on the Friday. We got there before the show started and were able to go to the bar side for free(after it started at 8 this became $ 10 a person I believe). The drinks were fairly expensive and the $ 50 was gone in two rounds of beers for the 3 of us, but as I say in all my reviews this is Vegas and high drink prices are to be expected. The bar itself is divided into two halves, the more low key table side that required an expensive reservation, and the standing bar side that was free before 8 and $ 10 after. We opted for the bar side seeing as it was free and accessible instantly. Our server was really friendly, and started a tab for my $ 50 drink voucher without hesitation. I ran into some difficulty with the second round when a different bartender had tried to help. The second bar tender was rude, but he was happy to get my original bar tender when I asked and he helped close out my tab with ease and a smile. The patrons ranged from 21 – 80, and everyone was having a great time. The way it works is you tip for requests. The more you tip, the faster you get your request. Sometimes the piano players will battle with requests. We had several groups of my fellow Canadians mixed in with the Americans, and the battle was soon on for national anthems. With each side increasing tips to get their anthem on, the bartenders created an amazing vibe and quickly earned themselves over $ 500 in tips. They may not know every song, but they know a wide variety and some obscure ones too(they knew a favourite back home, Last Saskatchewan Pirate). If it’s a special occasion expect to be brought up to the stage(with the appropriate tip) our bachelor party was brought up to sing a song from Grease with a young females birthday party is one example. Word of warning, the fun won’t come to you. If you love singing and dancing and meeting total strangers this place is perfect for you. If you are not wanting to interact or expect the best music then this may not be the place for you.

2.5 We made reservations for a party of 10 a month in advance so we had a table. It was pricy to get in, $ 30. It’s a small seating area so if you don’t want to stand all night I recommend you make a reservation. The drinks were really expensive. A little shocked when I received my bill. The service was mediocre at best. They don’t serve food which is a bummer but we just walked out and grabbed a slice and came back. We requested a handful of songs and we put down cash each one and NONE of our songs were played. The announced that they didn’t know one of the artists we selected but they didn’t even give us an opportunity to pick something else. They just took out money and played something else. Not ok. At other piano bars I’ve been to they don’t do that. They only played one«newer song» Uptown Funk and all the rest were 70s-80s. It’s like they already had their own playlist coming into it. They need to catch up with the times and play to the crowd. Don’t get me wrong our group still had a lot of fun. These are all the things we talked about the next morning. I guess my expectations are high because I love piano bars.

If you don’t pay these assholes $ 20 or more for a song, you won’t hear your request. Don’t bother with a request.

Fantastic time with fantastic piano performers. The small area of the bar makes for a supremely lively and bustling atmosphere. The performers did a great job of keeping everyone engaged and dancing . The drinks were pricey and small, but it felt like a small price for subsidizing the quality entertainment. Okay, there was a $ 10 cover charge too on Saturday night, but if you’re in the market for lively dancing(without the sweaty club grinding), throwback tunes, and attentive bartenders, this is your place or sure.

Despite the drinks being an arm and a leg with the inside usually jam packed — if you’re in without the huge line and go with the right people, Bar at Times Square can actually be a humorously fun time! Planning on tossing a few back? Grab a few before going in; Outside at a slot /table rum & coke — $ 1(tip) /Inside bar rum & coke — $ 12 w/o tip. I’m just sayin’. I haven’t been during happy hour, as it seems the place is bursting at the seems waiting for a Fire Marshall to be called. It might be best to go during that hour or so if you’re trying to have more than one beverage at this place. Anyways, it’s a dueling piano bar with two fella’s who know all the bangin’ hits from the 50’s all the way up to today’s Top 40. A patron can request a song(once one ends and /or hasn’t been interrupted) and if someone in the crowd isn’t pleased — he or she then has the opportunity to walk up to the the non-playing pianist, offer a cash tip of higher cash value than that placed prior and have the song changed on the spot. keeping both the patrons and musicians on their toes. It’s really an interactive environment — in the sense that the pianists continuously receive requests, talk to the crowd, with the crowd itself shootin’ the breeze, minglin’, singing and dancing if they know the jam being performed. If you can’t see the performers, they have tv’s lined up throughout the bar so you can catch a glimpse. I’m not the tallest human, so it’s often I end up in somebody’s armpit while they’re singing their favorite track and I’m gasping for air. Kidding, I’m actually the guy who has YOU in the headlock; You’ll be blissfully swept away by my beautiful renditions of Bohemian Rhapsody, I Want You To Want Me & my jam — One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer in an overtly joyous manner. *They also have that lady you see at all the shows. she dances & looks like Dee from It’s Always Sunny, tries to get you to boogey with her and you can’t understand what she’s saying, though, she sings every song on cue without a slur. She’s an interesting human who needs help, so you push her towards the random person next to you hoping they’ll do something about it. Do some people observing and find em’! This is a place of action, sound and movement. You might get bumped or pulled to dance and sing. Good music and a giddy buzz is found at the Bar At Times Square; so be forewarned — most people here are on a good one and are trying to maintain that vibe! Don’t get upset if someone just wants to sing with you btw — it’s probably me!

Sports bar by day, piano bar by night. This is probably the most versatile and poppin venue at NYNY. If you’re not into either one and rather do some gambling instead, they have that too at the outside bar where you can still look in and catch all the action. During the daytime, stop by to enjoy sports coverage on one of their many TVs. I’m not sure if it’s only during football season, but a bucket of Bud Light(5 bottles) will only run you 25 bucks! I believe they also have a happy hour from 3 to 5 pm but I haven’t tried that so not completely sure. At night this place gets packed! Surprising because this place is tiny and also charges a cover! If you can squeeze your way in or grab a table, stop by for some live piano action! I come here just for the venue and fun, because service is nothing special and about on par with other small bars. If you don’t want to pay cover, you can always just stand outside and still enjoy all the live music because it’s so damn loud!

The first time I ever went to Vegas, I was with a girlfriend on a show string budget and we just sat outside, avoiding the cover and watching the fun. When C and I went the week we got engaged, I told him this and we went several times! So this place already has a warm place in my heart! A piano bar in Vegas break you away from the over indulgent and sexually-potent atmosphere that Vegas has. This one in particular is great because there is room to dance, musicians are top notch and the amount people put down to request a song is crazy! By far my favorite place in Vegas!

One of my friends insisted this is where we spend our Friday night in Las Vegas! I was game for it. We aren’t 21 anymore so night translated to 8pm sharp that we arrived here. It was empty still(understandable) and we were informed it was free to stand or $ 25/person to sit. We had a party of 4 so I opted for standing. $ 100 is too steep for an empty bar at 8pm! The bar service is lacking. The bartender was really polite but they needed another person back there later in the evening as it filled up. I would stick to beer here. Mixed drinks seemed to run at least $ 15(I know, I know it’s Vegas) and the wine was truly awful! If you aren’t a club person and are looking for a lively bar to spend an evening I think there’s better(cheaper) options out there.

I was in Vegas to speak at an event and decided to head over here with some girlfriends before flying out the next day. We had a great time. I definitely recommend getting a table, it’s totally worth the cost. We had a great time, I actually prefer my local dueling piano bar but these guys were great.

Be careful… you get charged an entertainment fee in addition to tax with each drink??? Place is fun, piano players are funny & have a great attitude. Place is very loud & seating is limited. Get ready to pay if your not a local $ 5.00 per person & I heard if you want to sit down at a table its a $ 10.00 charge. Not sure if that’s per person. No chairs @ the bar or tables around the inside bar area so if you don’t get a table prepare to stand while you are there. Not a good place to go on a first date since its so hard to hear yourself or others when talking. Overall the place is fun!

This bar is so much fun!!! The dueling pianos are ridiculously good and they really do a good job at getting the entire bar to join in! They even have some wigs and costumes for some of the songs which is really entertaining. Pros: There’s no cover at the door Loud and fun Easy to get a drink Cons: Drinks are EXPENSIVE If you’ve never been to a dueling piano bar, you should go to this one! It’ll make you a believer!
