Banger is a comfortable environment. Really great bartenders. Their beer has been steadily gaining quality with innovation over the last couple years. They seem to have a solid business model and I think they’re going to stick around, getting more and more creative, for years to come.

Marginal beer at best … No smoking, no gaming no fun … But it is a good stop if u r downtown & walking from Main Street Station to the Atomic Bar… it is in between the 2

We’ve been to Bangers many, many times and always have enjoyed ourselves. They decorate so cutely for Christmas! Very welcoming, one of the reasons why we always come back. We are very comfortable there with their candlelit tables and warm atmosphere. Their beer is tasty. My husband and daughter got a back room tour, which was wonderful (their words, not mine). Their location is easy to find and very walkable from any hotel in downtown Vegas. My family and I will continue to visit downtown Vegas and continue to visit Bangers over and over again.

Banger Brewing is the best thing to happen to Las Vegas in the past two years. Period.
Home grown in Las Vegas the guys that put this place together are the best group of friends/​gentlemen that brew beer in the valley. They take extreme pride in their work and it shows in their beer quality and excellent service. Being locals, they keep it at a local price and event let you taste beers you’re interested in but maybe not quite ready for a full glass of.
All of their beers are delicious and I am continually surprised by my enjoyment of types of beers I didn’t used to like. From the El Heffe to the Ginger Cucumber Kolsch they keep it fresh and interesting for all pallets.
The atmosphere changes from super hip and loud in the day to a more chill & low key spot to have some brews after a long day.
Whether you’re a local or a tourist interested in checking out downtown, I cannot encourage you more to check out Banger Brewing.

I was here less than a year ago and promised I’d come back. I did last night and have to take away a star from these guys. Apparently they had a change in their liquor license and they no longer let you take their beers on Fremont in a plastic cup. The inside of this place just doesn’t have the vibe I want to justify sitting here, so they’re likely gonna lose my business next time. Still good beers, but sadly half of the appeal was getting a beer to go. Hopefully management can fix this.

The bartenders were awesome — super friendly and helpful. The beers we tried were really tasty, especially the cucumber one. But, here’s where it gets bad.
The deal we purchased came with a full 32oz growler. After having our flights we decided on the cucumber kolsch (their name for it escapes me) since we liked it so much. But I guess they poured it wrong or sealed it poorly, because by the time we got home it had essentially exploded all over my trunk. We salvaged about half of it, but when we went to drink it, it was flat. That was a disappointment because we were really looking forward to drinking it.
So now we have no beer, and my trunk smells like beer. Not the greatest end to what was otherwise a really cool experience.
Next time I’m in downtown Vegas I’ll probably go back. I think I’ll avoid the growler though.

We hit up Banger brewing on a beer crawl. I’m impressed enough with them that I went back for seconds! Our first night there, we hit them up during a 3-​pub brewery crawl. I had a taster flight of the Morning Joe coffee kolsch, the Miley Sours kettle-​soured brown, the nitro El Hefe jalapeño hefeweizen and the Stepchild cucumber ginger kolsch. I’m a dark beer fan and was surprised to find that the coffee flavor was overwhelming in the Morning Joe and the Miley Sours was bland. The El Hefe tasted of pepper, but not enough, frankly. I liked the crispness but wanted more spice. Finally, I was blown away by the Stepchild. I would never imagine liking a cucumber ginger kolsch. Flavors were subtle but definitely there, not too sweet.
Service was stellar, and no one gave us attitude for showing up minimally announced with 12 – 16 thirsty beer-​drinkers. I heard the food was good, too.

Had the pleasure of stopping by this little brewing company located on Freemont Street. Not a beer drinker myself, this review is primarily from my husband. He is a stanch IPA guy and enjoyed both of their IPA’s, although he ended up loving the ‘morning joe’ which is a coffee kolsch. He said it was unlike anything he ever tried before (and I have sat in a ALOT of brew pubs watching him try different beers). It tasted like a hazelnut coffee but not over powering. He called it a perfect summer beer. He also really enjoyed the ‘step child’ which was a cucumber ginger kolsch. It had a light floral smell and tasted a bit hoppy with a hint of cucumber.
The vibe in the brew pub is awesome, super laid back with friendly and efficient service. They have tones of games for you to entertain yourself while enjoying this true Vegas gem. I can admit that we stumbled on this place on the last night of our trip and really wished we could have come here more often.
Although this place has no food service its self there is an amazing food pop up called food junky outside that makes amazing food that compliment all of these beers!

The best beer in Vegas!
I had to try this spot on our last visit and we were there just after their 2^nd year anniversary. The service was fantastic, those guys were so friendly! And the beers were amazing.
I am still dreaming about the cucumber ginger brew I enjoyed! We also purchased a to go copper growler of their 2^nd anniversary saison — delish! They had a decent variety of beer options, but as we were drinking a lot, we tried to limit ourselves. Next time though…
We had a meat & cheese plate too — that hit the spot! A perfect complement to the brewskis. I wish I could go there more often & hope to see them at the GABF!

Love this place!!! Great place for locals too. Try the Hop Bang Boom IPA & the Cup of Joe… so good!!! And there are flights here for $ 8, beers are $ 7. There is a tiny popup kitchen on the patio for small snacks.

I cannot speak to the food, only the beer.
The place is what you’d expect for a small brewery tasting room, a few tables, a bar, a small food menu.
The beer is very good, surprisingly so compared to the other vegas breweries we tried.
The Morning Joe is world class, and I don’t use that term lightly.
Drink the Jalapeño hefe also, its good enough to survive anywhere. The sour was meh, the orange beer was oddly bitter, and the cucumber kolsh was good.

There are a lot of reasons to like downtown Las Vegas these days. It simply has personality.
But the other reason to visit downtown is to go to Bangers. Their beer selection is fantastic, they have beer flights, the staff is both friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is casual.
If you haven’t had a sour beer before, make sure you add at least one of them to your flight. Even if you don’t think you like it at first, you’ll be surprised how much sour beers grow on you.
Beyond that, just take the advice of the staff and you can’t go wrong.

So glad we stumbled upon Banger Brewing!
El Heffe was the BEST pepper beer I’ve ever had. I appreciate that they went for actual flavor (by using several different types of peppers, including bell) and not just heat like most. Morning Joe (coffee kolsch) was also amazing, and this is coming from someone who hates kolsches.
The location is great and central to Fremont Street. We had a nice window seat and could people watch and grab some snacks from Food Junkie directly outside. The bartenders were all friendly and helpful. Well done, Banger Brewing! What a great addition to DTLV!

I had a good time hanging out at this brewery one weekday afternoon. The atmosphere was chill and drew in locals and tourists. I sat at the bar, which meant I got to enjoy hearing the bartenders talk to other patrons and each other.
And the beer! The Morning Joe is a unique Kolch with a true essence of coffee. A must try. I also got to try the Uncle Judd, which was nicely balanced and hearty. I didn’t care for the El Heffe, but it was unique.
I hear there’s a Groupon, so you might want to check that out.
Definitely a noteworthy spot if you’re serious about beer.

Great beer… neat little location. Right off Fremont street. Beer selection was awesome… many styles to choose from. I bought a brewers shirt and got a free flight ($ 8.00 value). My fave was the barrel aged DHB. They had a food truck but we opted to eat next door… that review is to follow :-)

Very friendly and helpful bartenders. I’ve never had their snacks, but have been here for their happy hour. I don’t remember how much their flights are but I think they’re only $ 9 for 4 different types of beers (you pick). House beers during happy hour is only $ 5! My bf ended up getting 3 beers because he said it was super cheap. He would have gotten a 4^th one too if I didn’t stop him!
I like how they have a bunch of games at the front for you to try, and I think one or 2 TVs. Its never been super loud the times that I’ve gone so I’d say its a nice spot to just catch up with friends.
Oh… and TRY THE MORNING JOE.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for a flight after we had lunch elsewhere. We were pretty stuffed from lunch so neither one of us was wanting to drink too much, but we did order a flight of 4 beers. The bartender was able to make a recommendation for me since I am not always sure what I want and my boyfriend picked some selection for him. One of the ones we got was the El Heffe which is a beer with a jalapeño flavor to it which was odd but weirdly yummy. We didn’t do a brewery tour or even ask if they were giving one only because we live in Austin and go to breweries and tours all the time here. Staff were nice.

El Heffe was my favorite. The jalapeño kick was nice and not overwhelming.

So Banger is coming up on their second anniversary, so I thought I would stop by and stop in for a pint. The last time I visited was about 8 months ago and since then, I noticed a couple changes.
First, the number of their own beers was way less only to be replaced with «guest beers; not a big fan of this as I believe it only dilutes the strength of the Banger brand. This reminded me of walking into McDonalds and seeing Whoppers on the menu next to Big Macs. I hope this is just an experiment and the rest of their beers will be back soon.
Next, I noticed they were offering multiple food options from a small grill area on the patio. While technically a «tap room», it’s nice to see more options than just paired popcorn (which I really like), especially on Fremont Street. Beer-​friendly options include: Pierogi, Soft Pretzels, Hand-​Made Sausage, Hot Dogs, Brats, Kielbasa and Stuffed Cabbage. Didn’t have a chance to try, maybe next time, although did smell really good.
The tasty pint I did have was called «Amber Does Vegas», and like the rest of their beers, it didn’t disappoint. A good deal at $ 6 considering it’s a quality brew from guy who are passionate about their craft. Guess I’ll have to try some of their newer offerings on my next trip. Also, they have a Happy Hour which runs from 1pm-​3pm then again from 9pm-​11pm ($ 5 beers excluding guest brews).

This place is such a nice change of pace from the chaotic Vegas vibe but still in the heart of Downtown Fremont St. My friend and I used a Groupon deal that included one beer flight, 2 pints, and a 1 liter growler to go. We got the Morning Joe coffee beer that was really good and light, Hop Bang Boom IPA which we ended up getting the liter of, the grapefruit beer, and a dark beer that I can’t remember. They were all really good, the grapefruit was my least favorite but my friend’s favorite. They have a variety of games like chess, Yahtzee, Cards Against Humanity, Scrabble, etc. It’s a cool spot because there are lots of windows plus an outside patio so you can people watch on Fremont St. The staff was awesome as well!
I highly recommend this place and will be back next time I’m in Vegas!
