Alliance Properties

I was a tenant with Alliance Properties for 4.5 years. I was never late for a payment and only asked for a few things to be repaired. However, they were either reluctant or refused to fix some items that were damaged. As soon as we notified them of our intent to move out, things got worse and they treated us like we had been horrible tenants. They would not keep us up to date of what needed to be repaired in order to move out and receive our full deposit. They would not respond to this email. The only things we were told to do was get the carpets cleaned. make sure the holes were patched and that the landscape was in good condition. When we asked about when we needed to give our keys back they threatened us with additional rental payment if they were not in by a certain time, however we only found this out because we asked, not because they provided the information. On several occasions we asked about doing a final walk through of the property, they refused stating they did not have time for us, however they informed us that the owner would be doing a walk through that weekend. When asked about when we would get our money back, they told us to expect it back in at least month, but maybe sooner. Well, we have our deposit back, what is left of it and we do not agree with the charges. But because they are not worth my time, I am not going to deal with them. Instead, here is this review… consider yourself warned!!! The maintenance person does not do her job, and they companies they use do not know how to fix things. So if you are a renter, expect things to be broken or damaged for a long time. If you are the owner, expect your money to be wasted on having the plumber come out to your home to attempt to fix a problem several times.
The only good part about Alliance is Sedonia! She is a pleasure to work with!

They managed my property for several years. I recently closed out my account. Julia is very helpful and professional.

I have been a tenant 3 years now and Alliance Properties has been the worst. I gave them one star because I had to select at least one in order to post but they deserve no stars. Every single time we have had to call them for service of any kind, we have had to almost harrass them to get service because they will not return our phone calls. I always have to give them an attitude and tell them how bad they are before they actually get something done. «We’ll check on that and give you a call back,» thats their favorite line, but they never call back. I have better luck contacting the owner direct which is absolutely ridiculous. He pays for a service (which probably is added to my rent) that hes not even getting. All they are good for is collecting the rent every month. Mind you we’ve never been late. Not once. They don’t have to chase us around and harrass us for the rent but heaven forbid we need anything.

I was a tenant of alliance properties for the last year and during that time they were good. When I sent in my lease renewal the first replied back saying they had accepted. A week later they then contacted me to tell me that the owner had then decided to sell the house. A week after that they said that they would do a month to month lease. At that point I was so upset that I had already gone and found another house to rent that week before and told them no thank you. Then when I still had 20 days left on my lease Mr. Anthony Shaw kept trying to contact me to show the house while we were still living there and packing. Reluctantly I agreed and let him show it. Now that I have moved out and it has been 29 days since the end of our lease, I have tried to contact them numerous times and was only able to speak to a woman who tried to help me and let me know what was going on with the close out of the house and my security deposit. Thank you miss, I know you tried. As for Anthony, the lady told me that he was dealing with the close out and so I have again tried to contact him several times by phone and by text and have not got one reply. Funny how when he wanted something from me he was able to talk but now that I would like the courtesy of a phone call back after leaving 3 messages, he will not reply. I am so disappointed with the way they have treated me after all that has happened and I was willing to let this all go if only I would have gotten a response by now, but I feel now that everyone should know. Don’t deal with this company. I wouldn’t want anything like this to happen to you. They don’t know how to do business the right way or treat a customer. And by reading some of the other reviews, I am not the only one that feels this way…

I’ve been with Alliance for over 7 years now. In the past, they were punctual with their rental payments, but it seems this year they have been majorly slacking. I should not have to call or email every month asking where my payment is, especially when I know my tenant is Section 8.
While their employees are able to help with getting repairs very fast to the tenant (thanks Amanda!), and fill up rental vacancies quickly, they really need to work on getting the money to the owner on time.
I give them 5 stars for customer service, but no stars for making me have to call them every month to BEG for my rent money.

I have been a tenant with Alliance Properties over a couple of years and i have had good experiences. I would recommend it anybody to rent or buy property from them. I was a tenant and then I purchased the home I am in now. The transactions throughout were always professional. Its been a pleasure and sometimes fun times with their staff.

I have had my property managed by Alliance for about 3 years now. I have had a great experience with them. They have always given professional courteous service. I would defiantly recommend them.
