Dr. Lazar is — hands down — the rudest medical professional I have ever dealt with. I watched him bring my son to tears, not due to any sort of procedure but due to him scolding him for poor flossing technique. My son is 9 years old. I eventually had to step in myself. I received a call from him two days later stating that he probably shouldn’t have acted that way and was «just going through some things»… And he apparently took it out on a 9 year old boy.

Dr. Lazar and his staff are second to none. Very knowledgeable, professional, and gentle. Highly recommend!

First time going here and I have found my Dentist. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. The office staff is friendly and very knowledgable. Dr. Lazar is very knowledgable. He was nice and made my kids feel comfortable. Love this place. Recommend it to anybody!

Cocky, condescending dentist with no bedside manner. There is a difference between being confident but this guy is beyond arrogant. Overly careless and an extensive use of lidocaine has completely ruined my nerves. Stay far away! Great front office staff but this dentist needs a class in professionalism and mannerism. I am VERY happy with my brilliant new dentist Dr. Yanga… Someone kind, energetic and thorough that didn’t have to «LOOK UP» in a medical dictionary why it occurred. So before chastising people, I suggests he gets the dollar refund worth of education he received.

I love this place! Dr. Lazar and his staff are warm, courteous, and genuine. I always feel welcome here and everyone seems in a pretty merry mood. I swear something’s in the water, or… mouthwash? Haha but seriously, been going to this place for years and have never regretted it.

Dr. Lazar and his staff are extremely courteous, friendly and professional. Yvonne, his hygienist, is terrific and does a wonderful job. Dr. Lazar makes you feel comfortable at all times and takes the time to explain what needs to be done so that you can make an informed decision. Fear kept me away for a long time from a dentist, but I have great confidence in Dr. Lazar and would recommend him and his staff to anyone, especially those that have a low pain threshold or are have fear.

Dr. Lazar and his team are always welcoming and professional. They got everything in my mouth all squared away and took the time to adjust my bite to make sure I was comfortable. I don’t like going to the dentist but I actually keep up with my cleanings now.

I’ve never had any issues in this office. I love dealing with the staff, they are always happy and cheerful. I rescheduled two appointments and I thought for sure they were done with me lol. The dental hygienist is awesome and did a great job on my cleaning. The actual dentist has a great personality and he has a great sense of humor. I actually called before the office opened up and it rang directly to the dentist… It was awkward but Hey, good to know if I’m ever dying of a toothache that an actual dentist will pick up rather than an answering service.

For living in Las Vegas for more than 16 years one can easily find any dentist on nearly every corner, but the dentists that truly care about patients are few and hard to find. I was referred by a relative and his fiancé to Dr. Lazar’s office and I’m so glad I became a patient. The high level of care and professionalism by Dr. Lazar and the entire staff is unmatched by all the dentistry offices I’ve experienced. I now have my parents as patients and they are very happy as they have no dental insurance and are on fixed income. Dr. Lazar and his staff gives excellent dental services at very fair and reasonable prices. I highly encourage anyone in need of a trustworthy and caring dentist to give this office at least one visit and I am very cofident you would not want to go anywhere else.

Finding a Dentist in Las Vegas is easy, but finding a Dentist who truly cares about what’s going on in your mouth versus what’s going on in your bank account is rare. Well I can say with certainty, Dr. Lazar is a man of true character, morally ethical and his integrity is beyond reproach. I’m a Law Enforcement professional and have been for 20 years and I know what I’m talking about. The biggest mistake of my life was to stop coming back to his office because I have a great fear of Dentistry as many of us do. I decided to go back after a five year sabbatical (lol). Of course I did not continue to heed the good Doctor’s advise and now I’m paying the price. Dr. Lazar gives it to you straight, no bull***t, and that’s the way patients should hear it. Yet the doctor explains your condition in a professional but caring manner and truly cares about not only your mouth and whats going on inside it, but he cares about your overall health. Dr. Lazar is a rare find but once you walk through his front door, his entire staff makes you feel like you’ve just came upon a family reunion. The folks there are warm, friendly and don’t get in «your business». I absolutely love this place and although Dentistry is expensive, you get what you pay for and much much more. Scheduling is so easy, they even provide reminders so you won’t forget and they give away free gifts!!! Take the time for a consultation and you’ll see for yourself. You will want to go get a coffee and sit around and chat with the staff; it’s just that kind of place. All of your fears of going to the Dentist will soon be flying right out of the window, I promise! Advanced Dentistry is just that, it’s Dentistry with a twist… a twist of feeling like family… leaving happy… pain free and with a bright white smile!

My $ 1200 crown that I had done here broke in half after 5 years. I’ve had cheaper crowns done 10 years ago that are still looking and feeling great. I would think crowns being so expensive would last at least 5 years. Wish I never came here and wasted my money !! They should have some guarantee on their poor job they do. Shame on this office. I was told doctor uses only the best porcelain for his crowns, too bad it broke and they can’t even cover half of the cost. All about taking your money and ripping you off.

My husband went to this dentist, the first initial visit was a little iffy. The dentist was a little rude but we proceeded to go ahead with the work. He got half his mouth worked on and was very happy with the results. We scheduled the next appointment but we ended up cancelling the morning of the appointment. When I called to reschedule I was told because we didn’t give 24 hours notice there would be a $ 50 (you read that right) $ 50 fee!!! Our bill is already around $ 1500 for all the estimated work. I understand needing more notice but $ 50 is outrageous! They told me they couldn’t waive it, it was office policy and my husband signed paperwork that stated this. Why was I not reminded of this «policy» when I called to cancel… unprofessional is all I can say. I was pretty heated on the phone so I decided to write them a letter. I received a call personally from the dentist himself. I am not sure what his goal was in calling me because all he did was tell me that his staff had a different story and I cancelled a 2 hour appointment that day when they could have filled it with someone else and he still has to pay his rent. I was very polite and listened to everything he had to say but when it was my turn to talk he was very rude and kept talking over me and interrupting. Since I couldn’t even get a word in I just said thanks for your time and ended the call. I am appalled at how this so called «professional» handled this situation. I would not waste my time going here, he several times mentioned how he has to pay his bills and even in our first visit he joked that we were going to put his daughter through college. They are in it for the money and not for patient satisfaction. Rudest dentist ever!

The dentistry was good. The doctor was effective. We can find an effective dentist anywhere. They are a dime a dozen in this town. The problem is the staff and the billing mess that we are in right now. I just got a bill from a treatment in June, which was almost a year ago. I will settle that one with the insurance company. But the recent bill my husband just got was questionable based on phone calls to both the office and the insurance company that seemed to not know what they were doing. Going to the dentist is already a stressful and time consuming energy. I don’t have the time or energy to worry about their billing practices and the knowledge of the staff that answer the phones. Now we are out of pocket over $ 1000. because of a billing question that we thought was settled in January. We will never be back. Not ever.

i am someone who was terrified of going to the dentist. until i finally couldnt put it off any longer since my wisdom teeth were starting to bother me more frequently.
I went in prepared to be tortured but I came out a new believer and now an advocate of going to the dentist! Dr. Lazar and his team have given me a complete new outlook on how dentistry is done. {skip to the end for a summary}*
I also appreciated how the doctor didn’t make me feel bad, (which was another huge reason I avoided going to the dentist) because I was quite embarrassed of the state that my teeth were in on my first visit. He and my hygienist, Yvonne, didnt once make me feel bad; just reassured me my teeth were fixable and not to worry.
So I had periodontal cleaning, some fillings, as well as wisdom teeth extraction done.
Yvonne made sure that I was completely comfortable and numb for the deep cleaning. I was a big chicken so even at the slightest sensation I would raise my hand so she can numb me some more. So they won’t let you suffer because they think its enough numbing medication they’ll let you tell them.
Dr. Lazar did my fillings and he too wanted to make sure that at any signs of discomfort I would tell him. But my fillings were a breeze since i only had small cavities.
Finally, after my mouth was finally cleaned out it was time to take out my wisdom teeth. I told them how scared I was and kept repeating it just in case they couldnt tell, but they said not to worry. I was prescribed some xanax, and on the day of the extraction I took one more pill plus laughing gas. Then Dr. Lazar got to work. Honestly I cant really recall the surgery at all but I remember responding to «open wider» and telling myself to breathe deep. The next thing i knew my ride was there to take me home. I was given post extraction instructions and told to call if i had any questions. Dr. lazar even personally called to check up the next day.
*tl;dr: great, caring doctors here who know the dentist can scare the crap out of some people so they make your comfort their top priority! No pain just gains here at advanced dentistry

A change for the better!
As a mother, your child’s care is the most important thing in the world to you. Next of coarse is their emotional well being. My son, after a few bad dental experiences in Utah, has made going to the dentist a horrible stressful chore. After several neighbors suggested Advanced Dentistry I finally made an appointment. What a blessing! The office was calming and very pleasant. The staff was extremely warm and welcoming. When the time came to go in, Dr. Lazar had the kind of personality
that allowed my son to be perfectly at ease for the first time in a dentist office.
Thank you Dr. lazar and staff, for changing the way our family feels about going to the dentist! You have clients for life, and we are so grateful to have found you!

I love advance dentistry. They make you feel at home! They are professional educated and truly care. Doctor will tell you what you need done and if your not being responsible for your teeth. Some reviews talk about him being rude and I have to disagree. Hes gonna tell you what you need to hear and what you need done. Simple as that.
Me and my boyfriend are completely satisfied with the service we get. I referred all my cooworkers and not only they love it but you get 50 dlls referral. You can use it towards your next treatment or in my case i let my bf use them. I recommend it to everyone!

I never thought I’d find a dentist that could exceed my expectations, but Advanced Denstistry does. I found this office through the web and, since they accpted my insurance, I scheduled an appointment. They have state-​of-​the art equipment, and they use ample amounts of novacain when requested for those of us that don’t want to feel an ounce of pain. I have never felt pain during any of my visits — even when I had a crown put on. They have extended office hours, so I am able to get appointments after work or on Saturdays. Connie at the front desk is as sweet as my grandmother (although much younger) and always makes me feel welcome. She also makes sure there are no surprises at check out — she always reviews prices for dental work before scheduling appointments. Dr. Lazar is wonderful. He is a skilled, competant doctor who communicates well with his staff which makes for smooth visits. I have the utmost faith in his ability and have referred many people to this office — all of whom are now happy clients.

Let me start off by saying I generally hate the dentist. I had a lot of bad experiences with them in the past and when I was a kid and it made me very wary ever since.
Everyone at Dr. Lazar’s office was amazing. The receptionist Sarah makes you feel at right at home, she is amazing at figuring out insurance issues. The assistants Sunshine and Steven are great at answering questions. And Dr. Lazar himself is extremely nice, very professional, and with a fantastic «chairside» manner. He is very good a translating from dentist speak into English so you’ll know what’s going on. In short– Amazing staff.
But my favorite thing about Advanced Dentistry– the stations! Every chair station has it’s own flat screen TV (I’d say around 20″) mounted on the same type of moveable mount as the light. So when you are laying down having work done the TV is still right in front of you. I watched Friends during my cleaning, and How I Met Your Mother when I got my fillings. This is such a great touch because it allows you to not only block out the noise, NO DRILLING (they use air abrasion!), but to have a visual focus as well.
This place has gotten me over my fear of the dentist with their excellent service and welcoming environment. And as strange as it sounds, I look forward to my next appointment.
