Great place! I finally checked it out. This place is wholesale but keeps a little to sell in the morning. So you must order ahead or be there when she opens at 6:30 am. I went in at 8:15 and she was cleared out. She said to call any time in the evening as she is there all night making donuts for morning.
She has a very simple menu but the donuts are fabulous!

I’ve eaten a lot of donuts and these are the best in the United States and I’m not exaggerating. I’ve been to donut planet in NYC among others. The yeast donut and custard filled will be the best you have eaten. Light and airy.

We tried this place for the first time today. Hidden gem indeed. As we pulled up, a lady was walking out with two boxes of goodies. We didn’t get quite that much, just four donuts. They are not overly sweet nor heavy which I appreciated. Did I mention how it only cost $ 3.20? Having recently moved from downtown Chicago, these would have easily been about $ 12 there. They had a good assortment of old fashioned, filled and yeast raised donuts. We arrived around 7:30am on a Saturday and the display was half filled. People must come right when they open. The lady working was friendly and we will definitely be back.

This bakery has been in business for over 10 years in this nondescript strip mall… who knew??? We stumbled upon it after our dinner at Athenian Garden restaurant.
They feature a fine assortment of doughnuts, muffins, danish, croissants and turnovers, and rolls of different varieties.
This is a wholesale bakery that has a very very small retail store in the front of the business. Get this… store hours… Tues to Sat –6:30 am to 10:00am or sooner if sold out. Your best bet is to place your order the day before, and it will be waiting for you when you get there the next morning. There is no minimum order. We order by the ½ dozen.
Their doughnuts are large yet light and are fantastic!
They are located in the DeGeorge plaza about a ¼ mile south of Ulmerton Rd on the West side at 12 698 Starkey Rd in Largo.
Try this Mom & Pop bakery, you won’t be disappointed. Remember they’re only open from 6:30 to 10:00am!
