Growing up in the HVAC industry and starting as a technician James learned how to service and repair all makes and model central heating and cooling equipment.

In the early part of 2001 James grew into a sales and marketing position and then on to ownership. When James was young he remembered the same man coming to his family home serving their heating needs and thought how it would benefit consumers to offer that same level of service in his own business. Earning a Best of Tampa Bay award in April 2013 Encore Air, LLC heating and air conditioning has proven how this dedication to quality and customer service still holds true.

Worst experience ever, charged $ 295 for just change the thermostat box, called them to ask why, they said they will call me back to let me know, and it’s been 3 weeks now, in still waiting for the call hahaha

We had our a/​c break the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. Not only were they able to come out on Sunday, but they were by far the cheapest of the 16 places I called. They also credited the service call back to any potential work/​equipment we had to buy. We ended up replacing our entire through the wall unit in our condo for piece of mind. They were out on Tuesday, first available business day due to the holiday and had it installed in few hours. Everyone was polite and professional. Unfortunately we had another issue with the a/​c in October. We called Encore and they were at the condo the same day, in about 4 hours of the call. And while the issue didn’t have to do with the a/​c or the installation, it had to do with the electrical service of the building, they still made some adjustments and installed a kickstart to help with the problem. Encore is one of the best companies in the service industry I have ever worked with. 5 star recommendation.

They did it in near record time. Yaz went above and beyond in examine ducts and getting them off the ground. Both men were very cordial and polite. We are very happy.

Excellent service from start to finish
Encore replaced the HVAC system in my condo with new units outside and in. Mr. McClow responded by e-​mail to my request for a quotation, and answered several follow-​up questions, in a very timely way. Levi did all the work on his own in a day, including some adaptations to fit the new, lower standing units inside. Mr. McClow visited late on and we had a brief chat. The new Bryant system is working well. The whole experience was excellent, from start to finish: a really professional company to work with.

Three years ago I purchased an a/​c from Encore. Works great. Next winter, had no heat. Encore told me I needed new gas furnace. Another contractor charged me $ 170 to tell me it needed $ 400 fix. Still didn’t work. Three years and a couple of space heaters later, through a home warranty, another contractor told me Encore installed wrong type of thermostat and now I have heat. Three years with no heat. Thanks Encore.

Showed up within an hour after being called on a Saturday… Fixed the problem without trying to sell me a new unit. My only complaint is the $ 80 service charge for just showing up. Will definitely recommend them to friends!

Did not enjoy my experience with encore air. 1. They showed up late 2. They stayed 4 hours later than they told me. 3. They parked their van in my lawn. 4. They scratched my newly painted walls. 5. They left a mess after and we were cleaning up for an hour. 6. Work was being done in the attic– next day the ceiling was cracked and dry wall had to be replaced and painted which cost $ 600. 7. Tried to discuss ceiling crack with them and was dismissed.

We called this morning when our air started acting funny. Dean came out by 9:30! This business is A+. He was honest, professional, and incredibly fair and reasonable in price. This was a fantastic experience. Our A/​C was acting up and finally died on a Saturday. I called early in the morning and had an email response (which I requested) from the owner at 8:05 a.m. I called him directly and he personally came to our home at 10:00 a.m. (again, on a Saturday). He was extremely friendly and took time to explain all of my options regarding either repair or replacement. With the A/​C as old as it was, I opted for replacement and the appointment set up was fast and easy. The installer came out at 9 a.m. on Monday (the owner got the A/​C to work well enough that it lasted until Monday) and was finished around 2 p.m. He was also a very friendly, hard-​working employee and I really appreciated how he did the install. In all, this was the least expensive A/​C install that I found with the highest quality service I could have hoped for.

Fantastic experience in an uncomfortable situation. The service was very fast and professional. The person who answered the phone took my information and said someone would call me right back for scheduling. Within 5 minutes Dean called and said he was available to help. He quickly identified and resolved the problem by installing a new blower motor within an hour. He was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. He even took the extra initiative to show me ways to keep my HVAC system working properly by taking simple steps for maintenance. Very reasonable price. Excellent experience overall. Thank you Dean and Encore team!
