Established in 2000.

Bay Area Heating and Cooling, Inc was established in 2000 by John and Shaile Mulder. Providing residential and commercial heating and air conditioning services to Pinellas, Southwest Pasco and Western Hillsborough counties, Bay Area has grown to become one of the premier HVAC contractors in the area.

Since its inception, Bay Area has striven to provide 100% customer satisfaction and deliver honest, dependable service. This philosophy has lead to repeat service awards from organizations such as Angie’s List and the Better Business Bureau.

As an authorized Trane dealer, Bay Area has aligned itself with the highest quality and most technically advanced equipment available, from a company with a proven reliability and service record. Business Owner

Bay Area Heating and Cooling President John Mulder began his career in HVAC as an installer’s helper in 1987. Through hard work and study, he ascended rapidly within his first company from a helper, to a lead installer, to lead service technician.

In the early 1990’s, John took a position as electrician’s apprentice in order to become familiar with the electrical trade, especially as it relates to HVAC.

As he progressed through the various building trades, gaining knowledge and experience along the way, John’s dream and urge to become a contractor grew stronger. In the late 1990’s John passed his Mechanical Contractors License with the state of Florida and shortly thereafter, launched Bay Area Heating & Cooling, Inc with the support of his wife.

Today, John continues to operate Bay Area Heating and Cooling as he did when he first started, with honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
