We have tried this place once before. It was good the first time around. This time was great for me but sucked for the b/f. His food,(chicken strips) was burned. My chicken yakisoba was nice. I like that they use angel hair pasta instead of those dreadful ramen noodles. I would probably go back.

Awesome food with fast service. If you’re looking for sushi or Japanese food for date night, I’d suggest the other Posh location. But this is more appropriate for a business lunch or quick meal. I’d highly recommend the Yakisoba for a shared appetizer or the tuna tower. For dessert, go for any of the desert rolls!

To start, I love the pot stickers, and I also love the fried rice with shrimp. I usually order the tsunami roll or the Villarreal roll. It is not very authentic, but the sushi rolls are delicious. I think they are the best in Laredo. The service is sub-par here. They always take at least 15 minutes to give us our check. I prefer the other location down the road.

I’ve eaten at Posh 4 or 5 times now, and every time I am surprisingly underwhelmed. I’ve yet to taste anything with any substantial flavor. As seems to be the trend in Laredo, you can’t find anything that isn’t stuffed with cream cheese or fried, and the soy sauce has lime or jalapenos in it. The fish seems to be pretty low quality and the rice is not what you would hope to find in a sushi restaurant. Remebering my past experiences, this time I ordered shrimp fried rice and even that was bad: nothing but little tiny shrimp, rice, soy sauce, and plenty of heavy oil. I gave this 2 stars because the atmosphere and service are ok, but if you want good sushi… go to Corpus. Or San Antonio. or Austin. or hell, Lubbock.

Delicious sushi! It is definitely different than the traditional sushi served up north because ITIS influenced by the delicious, flavorful Mexican food you can only find here by the border! I recommend the Hideki, No Mercy and Kamasutra roll for you spice lovers and the Villarreal Roll or Yakisoba for something sweet! Also, the caramel creeps for dessert are a MYST! Great service and awesome ambience!!! Love it!

Not the worst i have ever had. Not great either. Nearly all the rolls are stuffed with cream cheese and the selection of rolls is a bit slim.

I’m from Houston. I rank this place right up there with Miyako. The rolls are great! I tried the Citron Roll, the Rainbow Roll, Paradise Roll and Marilyn Mon-Roll among others. They were all very delicious and beautiful to look at. Each roll incorporated fresh local ingredients that give it that unique Mexican flare, such as cilantro, mango, kiwi, strawberry, jalapeño and even Nutella! So change your palette and give this place a try. I’m glad I did!

Vistors from the North, sushi in Laredo is different. Please don’t go to any sushi place in Laredo expecting what you normally get. There maybe some standbys like the Calirfornia and the Caterpillar, but in Laredo we were influenced by a type of sushi making that came from Monterrey Mexico and points further south. It is not uncommon to see something called the Villarreal Roll. Cream cheese is everywhere and don’t be surprised if you see an option with chicken. My one rule for a long time was to order a roll without cream cheese. Posh had two options that fit the bill: futo make and zen. I like both. If you’re feeling more decadent and want something with more calories try the citron roll. New to Laredo? This is a good place to take a date. The ambiance at night is sort of loungy and cool with the modern light fixtures.

Coming from the Boston area, this sushi is terrible! I tried this sushi at the Mall Del Norte location. It was just terrible. The rice was bad and the«seafood» in it was terrible. I don’t know why everyone makes such a big deal about this place. When I asked if they sold Sashimi they didn’t even know what it was! Overpriced and not even close to authentic. I can’t believe this place thrives with customers… Ridiculous!
