Dr. Markarian earned his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from Boston University. He then pursued a residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital. In order to stay current with modern dentistry, he continued his post-​graduate study in Implantology. Dr. Markarian has expertise in all facets of dental care, including cosmetic dentistry, implants, endodontics (root canal therapy) oral surgery and IV sedation.

Dr. Roland Markarian has over a decade of experience in all facets of dental medicine. Dr. Roland Markarian began his career as a dental assistant where he realized how much he enjoyed and took great pride in helping transform lives by transforming a persons smile. Dr. Roland Markarian immediately decided to pursue his education and received his Doctorate degree in Dental Medicine. Dr. Markarian proudly serves all members of the family from a private office where he beleives a more intimate setting gives patients a more comfortable dental experience. Dr. Roland Markarian kind, gentle and compassionate nature makes even the most anxious patient feel at ease.

Staff here is very courteous, patient and appear knowledgeable. The main lobby is welcoming. We’ve been all over the antelope valley looking for decent dental practitioners and are happy with this choice.

One word excellent I’m on vacation and had an infected wisdom toothe I called and told the receptionist my dilemma I was made an appointment for the next day the doctor actually worked through his lunch to take care of my pain we need more doctors like doctor markarian hands down would recommend him to everyone I know thank you

The staff is extremely RUDE here! One person in particular, I think her name was Stephanie… I was simply asking a few questions about insurance coverage and if they had a network with my insurance plan and the stupid girl was talking to me like if I was a child who did not comprehend english. Just for that… I took my business elsewhere. Perhaps a much needed customer service tutorial should be implemented to teach staff how to be more pleasant and welcoming.

So again today I got the pleasure of visiting the dentist. I’m just so glad they can’t review me as a patient. I’m very lucky to have been referred to Golden Dental as the dentist has the patience of a saint and has yet to refuse service to someone that is a big baby!!!

I hate going to dentist but my friend told me to come here and me and my husband loves it here the doctor and nurses are all very nice they are upfront and tell you what you need they don’t try to over charge u and there job is excellent so glad I found them

Money hungry, gave my Husband estimate 10, 000 $ we just got it done fr 2, 000, I cannot begin to tell you how bad he screwed me for 2, 000 $, I had to go to a real dentist, who has taken very good care of me, all I can say is hang on to your wallets, its all about money with him.

If you have a lot of anxiety, consider seeing Dr. Markarian. I have a paralyzing fear of the dentist and he will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. He is the BEST. I’m not sure where these other reviews are coming from. Dr. Markarian and his staff have always been ultra-​accommodating with me, both with dental work and with making sure we have a payment plan that works best for me. Stephanie at the front desk is also wonderful!

I have high anxiety about the dentist because I have had lot’s of work done on my teeth but Dr. Markarian was so patient and walked me through my root canal process! He has also worked on my daughter’s teeth and allowed me to be in the room with her which helped ease her experience.
In addition the office staff is very friendly and professional! I highly recommend Golden Dental!

I went here about 2 years ago and I will never come back!
I came in for some filling and got a $ 14k estimate! (after insurance)
Was told i needed veneers, some gum cutting crap and if i had my wisdom teeth removed there was a chance that I would look like I had a stroke for the rest of my life and that my wisdom teeth were in my sinus cavity and i needed a bone graph after … WTF!?(Told that to the dentist at USC and he looked at me as if i was insane after looking at my xrays)
Also was told that I obliously had gum desease and needed to buy his rince and get all my teeth/​gums cleaned after. I flossed everything real hard before going in so I think he mistook that for gum desease…
I’m sure he is a great dentist when you have excellent insurance or money to burn.

Not sure what the hell happened with the experience of D.P. but these guys have been my dentists for about three years now and I couldn’t be more grateful. I’m just barely in my twenties so I still hold onto a lot of bad childhood memories thanks to dentists who grind away at my teeth with weak anesthetics, but with these guys I’ve never felt pain during or after work, and he’s giving me two root canals. I’ve noticed the assistants change often but the receptionist is a little more consistent and everybody has been really nice and I was set up with a great payment plan that didn’t kill a college student any further. I would recommend these guys to anybody!

**UPDATE** Received nasty e-​mails from the Dr himself, basically solidifying my opinion on them and their practice as a whole. No Dr Markarian, I WILL NOT TAKE DOWN THIS REVIEW SO STOP ASKING ME TO. Make sure you read the filtered reviews because they had the same exact experience as I did with the upselling garbage. They are 100% legit reviews that do not show up. The Dr flagged them so you cannot see them. I guarantee the «positive» reviews are from someone affiliated with the Dr or the practice due to their only review being this dentistry, they must think the general public is stupid. This is an embarrassment to all Dentists everywhere.
shady business in a shady parking lot, right next to a marijuana shop, how convenient. my crappy employer gave me a crappy dental insurance called western dental, well western dental said these guys are covered. I called golden dental and they said yes they accept western dental. I made my appointment for a routine cleaning because unlike most people i do take care of my teeth, upon my arrival they began wanting to sell me this special toothpaste and all these extra treatments, i said no i only want the cleaning, they said i was declining their service and to sign a form. basically they were asking for a $ 400 bill in cash. I explained i have insurance which you guys accept, they said yes but the services they wanted to give me were not covered and I said I only want the cleaning and they did not want to give me the cleaning. this place is bad bad bad and shady and I filed a complaint through western dental and I just found out their contract has been terminated, THANK GOD! Nice looking equipment everything is new, but their sales tactics will push anybody away who just wants to take care of their teeth. Also dont say you accept insurance and then want to charge someone an outrageous bill.
