Gary & Joel’s Barber Shop

Started coming here about two years ago and have always received a good haircut. Both Gary and Joel have cut my hair and are very professional and good at what they do. It really is the best $ 11 haircut in Lancaster.

I’ve probably had at least 150 haircuts in my 27 years of life so far (which I believe qualifies me as a subject matter expert).
I’d say without hesitation that this is the best barbershop in Lancaster. Gary and Joel are both great at what they do. They listen to what you want and deliver every time. They’re also very patient and intuitive, in case you’re the type to have a mini panic attack and start rambling whenever asked what you’d like (no matter how many haircuts I get in life, this will always be me).
I’ve had good experiences with both barbers here, but I’ve been gravitating more towards Joel recently. I feel like he really «gets» the shape of my head.
For $ 11 plus tip — you can’t beat these guys.

While I haven’t been there in a year or so, I want to give these guys credit for being able to cut a flattop better than anyone in the region, and they’re about that good with any crew, butch, buzz cut or ivy league as well. I’m not wearing a flattop at present, but when I do, it’s for sure I’ll be there early on a Saturday to be one of their first. They are short cut barbers, and right up there with the best of them. They aren’t big on styling, though I’m sure they’re capable, but if it’s a cut done with clippers, it’s a guarantee your cut will be stylish, well faded, flattering to your face/​head. Face it — they’re REAL men who cut the hair of men’s men, no pussyfooting around. Stop by, tell a story, hear a few, and get a man’s cut that tells the world that’s just who you are — regular guys getting real men’s cuts in a real man’s shop. You get it, don’t ya? Good!

Hit or miss. The haircuts have gotten straighter since I’ve been going there. Gary & Joel are cordial and friendly but sometimes I have to go home and straighten my hair. Good value.
