Went there to get a board for transportation to work & the guy helping me was so patient & so helpful as well as very knowledgable. I was able to get exactly what I wanted while picking out the parts for a board tailored to my needs at a 20% discount. Thanks guys, you nailed the customer service aspect perfectly.

Yeah I know I Q for a long time my name is Mark Cardenas and I’ve known him for like 10+ years and his dad as well when they started the old shop back in Woodruff and south and now they act like they don’t know people but I guess it’s just times and changing a rough but the shop is really overpriced and I thought they would be more friends or family but I guess people change and for his father to be so rude you know this grading these people

I came in to swap out some wheels on my son’s first skateboard. I really didn’t want to spend much money since he’s just starting to skate. Kazu helped me out and I ended up buying my son a new board which was only a little more than the new wheels and bearings would have cost. Kazu showed me some boards in my price range and was very helpful. He also gave me a free t shirt to give my son. Great local skate shop with knowledgeable and helpful employees. It’s easy to miss because it’s in a strip mall. But it’s worth stopping in if you are looking for good service and great deals.

Cool local sk8 shop in the lakewood area !! Reasonable prices and always got some kind of special going on, like buy a pair get s second pair 50% off shoes pretty sweet deal. Came in looking for an inexpensive complete for my buddys kids birthday. Guy hooked me up with a great deal with no hassle. Keep it up guys, good to have a legit skate shop in the neighborhood.

Great guys who are knowledgeable and friendly. It’s the kind of shop you can just cruise to and watch a video without any pressure. If you are looking for some shoes or a board, the prices are good, and the selection is pretty large. Buy Local!

Love this store. Service is the best ! I ‘ve got two pairs of Toms for a gift. Lakewood did not carry those ones but the on in Santa does. They got it for me the next day .
Then i need it to change then cause they were too big for my mother in law and they did ! Even though they did not have it .They call another store ! thanks so much !

This store has excellent service and helpful staff. I went here with my daughter to purchase her first skateboard. I admitted that I knew absolutely nothing about the hobby and was expecting to experience the typical hobby or automotive shop irritation from workers I’ve found at other specialty stores. This was NOT the case. The two guys were friendly with a lot of great advice. They made suggestions that helped us get a custom board within our price range. The employee who assembled the board for us worked with my daughter to get the perfect feel.
I would recommend this store to anyone interested in skateboards. It has great quality at fair prices with an amazing staff. Thank you very much United Board Shop.

Today’s visit was because of a recommendation from a classmate– I was looking for some new grip tape and wheels for my longboard.
The place is at a new location– it’s extremely clean and has an amazing selection of everything and anything you could possibly need. Seriously this place is really cool to shop in.
The two guys working were really helpful and answered all of my questions and helped me choose wheels that would suit my needs. These dudes were awesome and super patient with my stupid questions. fantastic customer service points there.
I’m so glad I came here. I tried several other skate shops before learning about this one, and I certainly don’t need to look anymore. This place is rad.
