Fast Fix Jewelry and Watch Repairs

Very nice customer service, very helpful and explained what they were doing. Will definitely bring other jewelry to get cleaned and resized.

In a pinch, heading out of town and I damaged my wrdding ring. They were awesome and FAST!

Came to this store because it was close to home. Had to replace a leather band on my watch. Friendly enough staff when I came in. The next day I noticed it wasn’t installed properly. But when I talked to the manager to voice concerns about the quality of service I received, I was treated rudely and unprofessionally. This person was either having a bad day or just didn’t want to hear another customer unsatisfied with their service — looks it’s not just me who has had a bed experience with this place.
The leather band was installed improperly with part of the pin/​screw sticking out creating this unsightly crooked look on my watch. Might be good for other jewelry, but for watches, STAY AWAY. And if you don’t want to deal with a rude, seemingly unprofessional person who calls herself manager, then I’d stay away also. I just wanted to hear how sorry they were that they screwed up my watch and tried to make it up to me somehow, I definitely did not expect the insincere attitude and combative personality that this person showed.
Either way, they lost a customer today. Here are the pics.

My family has used this place a few times. It’s our go to place for new watch batteries, they were able to resize my grandfather’s ring for my dad to wear, and they were a total day saver with my engagement ring a little while back!
My sterling silver band had lost a little shape from wearing it every day, the store it came from in the mall wanted tons of money and lots of weeks to reshape my band and I didn’t love that option. Super disappointed, I walked in here to ask what they could do and they fixed it in 5 minutes for me. (Living up to the name Fast Fix for sure!) Totally made my day! My ring hasn’t had the same problem since, but if it ever does again this will be my first stop!

BEWARE!
Yesterday during my lunch break I ventured to go try and get my necklace fixed because I broke it in the middle of the chain & I unfortunately came to visit Fast Fix in lakewood mall because the jewelry shop that had great reviews across the street was closed.
When I walked into the mall I asked an associate at Romanos Jewelers if they did on site repairs and he said no and recommend Mauricio at Fast fix next to Macys.
When I got to Fast fix he was quick to help and looked at my necklace. (Which is a very thin, 18in chain made of 10k.) He recommended I buy a new thicker chain because those chains aren’t meant to be worn according to him are only display chains and aren’t very good quality.
I said I didn’t care what it’s worth, it has a lot of sentimental value and I just wanted it fixed if possible so he melted the broken ends of my necklace and sent me off for a $ 20 fee. BEFORE I even made it out of the Red Robin exist my chain broke in the same place and when I went back he said that it wasn’t broken in the same place!
Um. what do you mean? There was only one part that was welded together and it’s not there anymore! I’m not crazy.
So he welds it again and I return to work. When I try it on at work it measures THREE INCHES LONGER!!! I went back and showed both Mauricio and the manager pictures of where my 18 in chain fell as opposed to this new mystery chain they gave me that literally fell into my shirt making my pendent on the chain not even visible. Neither individual cared about what I had to say or even the photos that proved my concern to be true. They simply offered to shortened the chain and asked me to leave.
Point being:
I gave them an item that had a lot of sentimental value so they could fix, I didn’t even watch the guy fix it the FIRST TIME and then I’m given back something different. Their defense (especially from Mauricio) was that my style of chain isn’t worth anything and they wouldn’t even carry it there, which I DO NOT CARE. I brought in something and got something else in return.
DO NOT COME HERE! AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND INTEGRITY!!! & if you do need something done make sure you watch Mauricio VERY attentively to make sure you get your item back and not some makeshift duplicate.

No stars for this place! I had to give one to post. We’ve gone to the location at the Lakewood Mall a few times because of the convenience. Two bad incidents is 2 too many!
I had a watch fixed and a new battery put in, the cost $ 40.00. A month later the watch died. They said that the battery needed to be replaced… WHAT? What did you do the 1^st time I brought it in?
My husband brought in 4 watches to have the batteries replaced. He had them in a plastic bag and when he went to pick them up, he paid for the batteries and they gave him the bag back. When he got home he noticed that one of his watches was missing. One of his watches was missing & they denied the whole thing!
We paid $ 80.00 for their bad service. We called several times and they promised us a CD of the whole interaction — we never got it. We never got a call back. It appears that they lied about the whole thing. We will NEVER go back to this place. Buyer BEWARE!

Just so you all know that if you buy something here and want to return it. Theres no refund. Youll be given store credit back. My wife had came home with a watch that I didnt like and red on the receipt to see the no refund… ill be heading to the shop the next day and see how it goes…

Great service, checked and replaced battery with a five year warranty for less than 20 dollars. All in 5 minutes

Horrible experience.
My fiancé and I took her ring to get re-​sized. When it was finished we noticed that two diamonds had fallen off from one of the sides. We brought it up to the attention of the staff and they said they would fix the issue. When we returned they said that they had fixed it. The employee tested the «diamonds» with his machine and it showed the stones as diamonds.
We later took the ring to another jewelry store where they informed us that the same two stones that had fallen off and been replaced were not diamonds.

I have gone to Fast Fix in the Lakewood Mall on many occasions to get watch batteries and jewelry repair. Always great, fast, and KNOWLEDGEABLE service. Can’t beat it — won’t go anywhere else!!!

I took my wedding ring here to have the prongs fixed and they were very helpful and I was very pleased with the service I received. When I came back in 2 hrs the ring was fixed and was cleaned up as well. I have never seen this ring sparkle like this before! This is my new go to place and I am going to tell my friends about it as well!

These guys are excellent! I needed my Navajo bracelet polished and cleaned up after a nasty scrape. George assured me, they could do it and have it done in 30 minutes. Not only did they do a fantastic job, they did it in less than 30 minutes, better than I had ever imagined possible and at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this place; I will never go anywhere else.
