Koi Depot of San Diego

I have known Mark and used his services for about 5 years now. I found him after my second pond remodel, which was another a disaster by a local pond builder and resulted in very sick fish, and a ton of money down the drain. He is a likeable guy and has vast experience in all aspects of this hobby. He does not charge an arm and a leg like all the others and he tries to save you money.
When you have sick koi and no one, and I mean no one including our local vets, and our local koi club will give you the time of day, he will come running. He may not be perfect, as some others have pointed out, but he knows his stuff like very few others, and he is there when you desperately need him. His prices are more than reasonable and really, what else do you want? We don’t always agree, but Mark knows koi and ponds and sources like no other. He has always done right by me.

I see that the BBB — Better Business Bureau — has removed the «F» rating it had for the Koi Depot of San Diego. I’ve emailed them as to why. They now have this business at «no rating». WARNING TO ANYONE THINKING ABOUT USING THIS COMPANY: DO NOT!
KDSD is a scam company who will take your money and not deliver the goods. If you find yourself dealing with this guy then whatever you do, DO NOT PAY him until you have the merchandise, work, or result he has promised. Or I promise you will never see it. The work done by Mark of Koi Depot of SD is superior to others in the same field. I’ve tried three other business and Koi Depot is the best. They do not gouge you with miscellaneous fees like others. I’ve had emergency work done on a holiday and there was no extra charge. Marks is always willing to work with you to get both the wife approval factor and still stay within budget – not an easy task given the costly nature of anything pond related. He will do what it takes to get your pond working and keep your koi safe.
