History

Established in 1993.

Beginning in 1993 at the height of the vertical blind popularity, All About Blinds began business fabricating all types of pvc and fabric verticals in our own factory. We complemented that product line with horizontal blinds (mostly 1″ minis) and shades such as pleated and rollers. Along came 2″ pvc and wood horizontals, followed by faux woods. Soon wood shutters became popular, then poly shutters took over the market. In recent years, sheer shadings have taken off in both commercial and residential settings. Recent innovations include motorization of nearly every type of window covering imaginable, allowing remote operation of shades and blinds without leaving your recliner! Styles and colors are continuously changing and so does our selection of superior quality made-​to-​measure window treatments.

After an early career in construction management and accounting, I realized my real calling was in sales. With a background initially in industrial equipment sales, the entrepreneurial spirit hit me in 1993 with the establishment of a family owned small business selling custom window coverings. All About Blinds, Inc. was born! With this new venture came challenges that called upon all of those past career experiences, most notably the ability to wear many hats. Yes, even today you will see me when I first visit your home or business to measure your windows and offer advise based on your unique wants, needs, and budget. You will see me again when your window coverings are installed with tools in hand. Any follow up and service after the sale is done by… you guessed it, ME.
