Cabins and RV camping on Shasta lake in Northern California. Located one mile off Interstate 5 on the Sacramento arm of Shasta Lake, nestled in the beautiful forest surrounding the lake, The resort has six fully equipped two bedroom, four one bedroom «view» cabins & seven full hook-​up RV camping sites. Enjoy relaxing by the pool, a game of volleyball, a fire in one of our fire pits or games in our activity center. Great fishing in this quiet 5 mph cove Water is just 300 feet away, past the train trestle from there you’re off to enjoy some of the best water skiing Shasta Lake has to offer. This quiet secluded resort is located on a bluff. Camp overnight in your RV in our RV campground with your whole family. A large swimming pool is there waiting for you or the kids to cool off or walk out the back of the resort and discover a great trail to hike or bike

History

Established in 1957.

Way back when the Dam was being built on Shasta Lake the property that Salt Creek Resort sits on was a camp for the workers. The old highway 99 ran under the train trestle and across what is now the Salt Creek Inlet on the Sacramento Arm of the Lake, prior to Interstate 5 being built. Originally the lodge was a Bar and Restaurant and the locals say that it was the most «happening» place in the area. The owners at that time would have bands play on weekends for entertainment, serve meals and the original swimming pool was actually located in the low area in front of the Resort and was a «cement pond» that was spring fed by water coming off the mountain.

Of course, a lot has changed since back then, however, Salt Creek Resort & RV is excited and determined to continue to make improvements, provide excellent customer service and a clean and safe environment for everyone.
