Tom Kelly, President Neil Kelly Design/​Build Remodeling, Portland, Oregon Tom Kelly’s roots ran deep in Portland’s neighborhoods while growing up as one of eight siblings, and later, in the family remodeling business, where he started as a laborer and truck driver during his high school years. After attending the University of Oregon as a business major, he spent several months in Washington, DC, working for Representative Les AuCoin. Returning to Neil Kelly, he took on increasing responsibility and was named Production Manager in 1976. Tom was made President of Neil Kelly Design/​Build Remodeling in 1979 and in the years since, has built the business into the region’s largest remodeling firm by doing quality work, respecting his employees and clients, and championing Portland’s neighborhoods and citizens.
