Jiminy Chimney Sweep & Service

I called Monday and got an appointment on Wednesday. The serviceman was great! Informative and thorough. I would recommend them for sure!

We had about 20 layers of brick on the chimney that needed mortar filled in. Justin came on time, gave a reasonable estimate, scheduled and arrived on time, got done on time. The combo he proposed to clean the chimney was a good suggestion, as we had not done that in years.
Overall, highly recommended!

Just had them out to sweep the chimney, something we haven’t done in ages as we rarely use fireplace. Fair price estimate given upon appointment setting. Helpful, informative — they used a camera to go up the chimney and show us the structural integrity. Walked us through what they did, no unexpected damage, didn’t pressure for upsell’s. Definitely recommend.

Jiminy Chimney came over and cleaned out our Chimney. Rich (technican) was friendly and professional, our dog even liked him. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had an excellent experience with Jiminy Chimney and would highly recommend them. I am selling my house and had to have changes done and only had a short window of time to complete them. The team was extremely accommodating and adjust there schedule to fit me in. When they came to complete the work it was discovered that what they initially intended to do would not work in my chimney. The new repair was significantly over the initial estimate but they offered to cover the difference and only charge me the estimate total. I was impressed from the beginning to end and couldn’t be happier with the level of service I received. Thank you and keep up the great job!

We have used Jiminy chimney several times in our current home and they have been the friendliest and most honest company we dealt with. They were recommended by a friend who was also very pleased with their professionalism and I am so glad I listened. They do what work is needed without trying to upsell us on unneeded services or replacements. I even called around and they are very reasonable for the service you receive.

As a former firefighter I realize the importance of maintaining a safe chimney. As a regular everyday consumer I realize the value of not wasting my money. During my annual chimney inspection, I was told that I needed quite a bit of work done to make our chimney safe to use. I got 5 different quotes from other «A» companies with opinions ranging from «your chimney is fine, you don’t need to do anything» to «you need a complete overhaul of the chimney, blah, blah, blah.» Knowing that neither of these situations was the case and that something DID need to be done based on the pictures that I had seen after the inspection, Jiminy Chimney was the only company that offered a reasonable option for repairing our chimney that left me feeling good about the quality of the work that would be performed and at a reasonable price. Besides the company that did the original chimney inspection, Jiminy Chimney was the ONLY company that used their special camera that goes up the flue to accurately diagnose the issues with our chimney. In fact, one of the other companies that was providing me with a quote told me that he would have charge me if I wanted him to use his camera. This was one of the reasons that I felt very good about Jiminy Chimney… they weren’t trying to nickel and dime me and they were accurately able to see for themselves what the actual issues were and provide a quote accordingly. Every other company EXCEPT Jiminy simply shined the flashlight from their iPhones up my chimney and guessed at what they thought the issue was.
I am very glad that I chose to use Jiminy for the repairs. They took pictures of their work after it was completed and I feel confident that they didn’t cut any corners. They were very professional and made sure to avoid making a mess. They took their shoes off every time they came in our house which to me shows their attention to detail.
I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to write a review for this company based on their great customer service and the quality work that they performed. It is obvious that this company and their employees are passionate and knowledgable about chimneys. I am sure that I will be able to safely use our chimney this winter and I didn’t have to break my bank account to get it done. I will be calling this company for any chimney work that I need to have done in the future. I would highly recommend at least having this company come out and take a look and give you a quote for any issues that you might be having with your chimney. I hope that you are as satisfied as I was.

I was very happy with the service. I thought I needed to replace the back panel of my fireplace, but Jiminy Chimney talked to me about my options and recommended a product that would be cheaper and more efficient. I was very pleased with the quality of work and the professionalism of this company.
