Frequent visitor once every 2weeks for at least 4 years. Their ABC omelet is the best I have ever had. Would recommend.

Outstanding food and value! Service is always good! if you are looking for ambience, this may not be your place. However, great food, portions, price in a clean friendly environment!

. Today as always I asked for dry toast. It came buttered, I asked politely for dry and said sorry. It came back burnt. No refills either. Go to «Uncle Kennys» much better and very polite… Older short haired dirty blonde in color. Rude and no people skills

Clean, ok service, nice friendly people, very bland country fried steak, was tough like the bottom of shoe, clam chowder bland as well with 2 tiny bits of clam. Think I will stay in the North/Central part of town.

I eat breakfast here about once a month. I haven’t tried the lunch menu but breakfast has always been pretty tasty. The tables are small but they recently painted the walls so it looks nicer. Wait staff is friendly and attentive for the most part.

Delicious food, hot coffee, very friendly service, clean restaurant. This is the type of place we like to find and eat at when we get out of the city and into smaller ones. We will be back!

Really good for a small mom and pop café. Had sausage and eggs breakfast. Included 2 small pancakes and hash browns. Everything was good. My only complaint would be coffee that was a bit weak. Guess I’m used to that strong Starbucks brew. Over all, very good.

Yum! Be prepared to wait for good food! It was well worth the wait! I believe even papa came to check on us to see how we were doing. Food came out fast! Servers were helpful and nice. The muffins look really good, but didn’t have one. I had the abc omlette.(avocado, bacon, cheese) sooo good! Looks small on outside, but it’s big inside.

This restaurant is terrible. The service was horrible and the food was almost un edible. Definitely would rather eat my own limbs before going in there again

Not too thrilled about the breakfast, pretty bland. The hash browns had no flavor at all, it was like eating raw potatoes, and they were barely cooked. The corned beef hash was burnt and mostly potatoes. Also when we arrived there were plenty of tables open and they wanted to seat us at the worst table, small next to the dirty dish station. I can’t figure out why places do that, like someone really wants to sit in the worst spot if they don’t have to. Needless to say we won’t be returning.

My family and I went there once and the food was OK. We never went back because I don’t like having to constantly swat at my food to keep the flies from landing on my food. It is inside dining.

We go to papa’s a couple times a week. Fantastic menu! Anything you get is perfectly cooked and delicious. Service is great too! My favorites are: bacon breakfast burrito, Jose scramble, French toast plus, and their giant homemade muffins. They have lunch too :) It’s a small family owned restaurant with a custom menu and very friendly environment. Being the whole family and meet some locals too :) Open 6a-2p

This place is well visited by Havasu ‘seniors’ but not so much by the tourist or visitors which means its a good stop to grab breakfast on a busy summer weekend if you don’t want to deal with crowds or having to wait. It is basically just a large room with a bunch of tables. No booths, no walls… just a large room. I have eaten here many times. Nothing stands out as being awesome… everything is just ‘good’. Last weekend I had the ABC Omelet. It was cooked perfectly. The potatoes were also good but the biscuit they served was hard as a rock! Service is so-so… depending who you get. A few of the waitresses seem like ‘career waitresses’ who are pretty burned out with the job… then some days they really turn up the charm tho. Not the best place in town… but definitely a good breakfast option if you just want something simple and don’t want to wait at the other places that are probably more busy!

Had breakfast at Papa Bears on Tuesday Morning. The food is good, service adequate, and prices are in line with the local area. Try the ABC omelet. It is nicely done with plenty of stuffing. Would love to give this place 4 stars but the décor is tired and tables are of tight. parking can also be a little tight as well. Good place for breakfast. Can’t say I have ever had another meal there though…

Divey little breakfast joint, I think they do other meals, but we came for breakfast. Food was good, hash browns actually made on site, cooked up crispy without being overly greasy. Delish. Service was slow, orange juice we ordered literally showed up at the same moment as the check. Otherwise, it was good.

I like this place… I’ve only been here once, but I really like the food! The french toast is great, and my sister said the machaca burrito was really good, too. Again, this is one of those«I’m eating on the patio amongst smokers» situations, since I went with my family, but I’m not holding that against the restaurant. It’s not their fault. I will definately be back, whenever I find myself back in the area.

Was Calamity Jan’s now called Papa Bear’s. Good place for Breakfast probably lunch too. They have alot of specialty items in the menu and daily specials on the board too. Food is always good here. I don’t like the inside seating though. Small tables really packed in tight. I go here for the patio seating which has a really nice lake view. Nice cover for shade. The service is on par for Havasu. Plenty of burned out waitresses in this city and this place has a few of them, one is just plain dinggy though!
