Caffe Vero

Stopped by this morning for breakfast and what a pleasant experience! The service was fantastic from the hostess and our server and the breakfast was delicious, egg sandwiches on homemade Kaiser rolls (super fluffy) and bagels. Can’t wait to return.

We loved this place so much we had to come back the next day too. The lattes are delicious!!! We tried the Hawaiian latte, cinnamon bun and a latte of the day with mocha and Heath bar. From bagels to pancakes to omelettes everything was yummy. The service was top notch but get here early especially if you want a spot on the deck outside. We managed to get here before 830 both days and were seated immediately. we might just have to stop for some iced lattes before we hit the thruway!

Not a very good experience, especially after reading the other reviews here on Unilocal.Coffee was good but beyond that not much else. Kids pancake order only includes 1 pancake, thin, and came out cold. Waitress forgot the syrup, double charged us for food we didn’t order, and was super unresponsive. Will not return.

We had breakfast there and were very disappointed. After reading the reviews, we thought we would get a really good cup of coffee to start the day. The espresso tasted burnt and the regular coffee was luke warm and watered down. The bagels were so-​so and the pancakes were awful. The service was fair to middling. We don’t understand all the great reviews.

We went twice during Americade. It wasn’t full of bikers — due to their possible preference for Dunkin Donuts.

Good food. Good location. Good service. Everything in this place is good! Stopped in here for a quick bite and was satisfied with everything. I had a traditional american breakfast. Eggs was exactly how i ordered them. the bread for my toast was excellent. My only gripe was the home fries they werent how im used to them but it doesnt matter. Price is fair, service good and the atmosphere is relaxed. All in all a good experience.

Here for Americade and found this great place on our walk. Very clean nice place with great food, reasonable prices and great service. Most everything made on site. Thank you Mike for making my husband’s dream come true with some great tips about coffee roasting. Above and beyond the call of duty for sure. Not just a great latte with fresh roasted espresso but great food as well!

Breakfast was great. Upgraded to a bagel made here, and it was deliciously fresh. They even roast their own coffee beans right here. Boy, was the latte good. Will certainly be back.

I didn’t think the cold brew would be as good as the owner: manager said it would be but my goodness that coffee was great! My partner and I both got the cold brew and were both very, very happy. Definitely check this place out – friendly service and great coffee make for a great experience.

Although I didn’t sit down to eat here, I got a banana, strawberry & banana smoothie with soy milk and holy moly! Probably one of the best smoothies I’ve ever had. So so so good!

Good food, a cold latte and service without a hint of a smile. The hostess said «sorry» about five times before we were seated. I guess she was trying to tell us something.

The other 133 reviews probably cover it all. But this is a very nice place in Lake George that’s open early for breakfast and nice coffee. It’s large, perhaps 6 well spaced booths and 10 or more tables. Plenty of room all around, you won’t feel crowded here.
Also a take out counter for the coffee and baked goods to go people.
The menu (I posted pics) is good, covers your breakfast or lunch needs. Priced reasonably.
Large clean restrooms.
The radio was a little loud for early in the day, but happily some other patrons thought so too and asked for it to be lowered, which it was.
Refillable coffee if you sit and get regular, which is good.
Cheap napkins. Pats of butter instead of a nice small container. Syrup in unmarked squeeze bottles next to ketchup. Those small jam things from Smuckers.
Cute outside patio. Easy parking.
Looses a star for not living up to its potential, which would include more and nicer condiment containers. I’d eat here again though, enjoyed my breakfast.

I moved to DC from Lake George about 5 years ago, but every time I go home, I make sure to stop in at caffe vero. I wish they had a location down this way! I’ve tried a bunch of different drinks, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches there, and they always hit it out of the park. I don’t feel the need to recommend anything in particular because nothing has disappointed me (or my fiancée, who also tries something new each time). I also really like the new location, although I do miss having the back room fireplace like at the original store. That being said, the new place has outdoor seating, so we’re able to bring our dogs with us — a huge plus. As always, I’ll be back again. This place is definitely a Lake George staple.

I came here to pick up some donuts. Been here before and really liked the food. I would say that in the amount of time it took for me to wait and order, I was better off just sitting down and ordering from the waitress. While there was a separate counter to just order, the counter staff/​cashier seemed were preoccupied with filling the orders of customers who were being served by the staff.
That being said, the donuts were fresh and delicious and would recommend going here (early).

Best restaurant in Lake George, easily. Probably one of the best places to get breakfast in the area as well.
If you like coffee this is also the place to go.

Nothing much to say about this place, i stopped here for some coffee, it was made strong. They sell latte art which comes to a charge of $ 10!

The atmosphere here was very cozy and cool. The staff was fast and very friendly. The Snowflake espresso and the hot coco were both delicious, flavorful, fresh and were presented beautifully. I beverage menu is pretty huge and has a wide variety to choose from. The breakfast menu is rather small (just one page) but the selection is perfect for a quick breakfast.
I ordered an egg, cheese and bacon sandwhich on french toast. It arrived shortly after we ordered and the presentation was very nice and the taste was even better. I will definitely visit this place again!

I LOVED Caffe Vero. My friend who has previously visited Lake George told us about this place. Hubby and I stopped for lunch than we bought his brother and his brother’s girlfriend back with us for breakfast.
Their lattes feature latte art which is always a plus. On my visits I tried the french toast latte, cinnamon bun latte, tear drop and cup a cabana latte. I loved them all.
I bought a pound of coffee to take home with me as well!!!
I also ate the three cheese grilled cheese sandwich for lunch and the french toast for breakfast and I was impressed with both dishes.
If I lived here caffe vero would be my go to place.

COME HERE FOR BREAKFAST! Sooooooo good. If I ever come back to Lake George, I’ll definitely come back and bring my posse. Chocolate chip pancakes!!! My dolce vita latte was delish — cinnamon and vanilla, of course. My breakfast platter was pretty standard with eggs, buttered toast and sausage, and the beef sandwich (from the lunch menu) had this sauce on it that was DELECTABLE!
Huge place. Lots of options for everyone. There are ample parking spaces.

Café excellent, déjeuner américain excellent. Beaucoup de gens pour le café take out. Il y a une petite salle a manger a l’arrière.
