History

Established in 1994.

At The Tutoring Center, we want to give your child the same help and intervention we’ve given thousands of other successful children since 1994 when The Tutoring Center opened its first center in Ventura County, California. The Tutoring Center has now grown to over 80 locations throughout the country, helping thousands of students succeed in their academics.

We feel strongly that in today’s competitive academic environment, every child requires some form of outside academic assistance — whether they are having difficulty or excelling in the classroom. But most importantly, the earlier your children get started with us, the more they will excel and the less chance they have to develop poor work habits and weak academic skills. When you enroll with us, you will help turn your child’s future from a day-​to-​day challenge into a lifelong success story.

Meet the Business Owner

Kayla P.

Business Owner

Kayla Pham is the Owner and Center Director at The Tutoring Center, Lake Forest. She has been providing tutoring services to low income families ever since early High School, and has been passionate about helping children succeed in their academic endeavors. After High School, Kayla received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, and then went on to receive her Master of Accountancy. Kayla’s eagerness to help others succeed extends beyond the realm of Tutoring, and into the Kiwanis Club of Lake Forest, where she is an active member in community service.

Kayla Pham and the staff at The Tutoring Center in Lake Forest are enthusiastically dedicated to help students reach their full potential. We believe that a child’s success is our success here at the Center. We want to help students build confidence that will last a lifetime.
