I’m in there like swimwear. As a limo driver whose always up and down I-​294 I make it a habit to stop in and order up the shawarma chicken wrap. Can’t go wrong.

This was all that. That chicken kabob wrap had me coming from Milwaukee! Would be nice to have one up here!

By casual Middle Eastern restaurant standards this place is okay, but by comparison with any other food choice in the Oasis, this is by far your best bet. I do think it’s funny to get Middle Eastern food in an oasis as well. The sandwiches can be eaten while driving, the plate dinners are little more challenging if you’re the one with the steering wheel. I like the felafel sandwich the best.

Taste is consistent which I like because I know exactly what I’ll been getting. Docking a star because the size of shawarma wrap is a little smaller than I like. 1 and ½ shawarma would be just right to satisfy me.

This is at «Lake forest oasis», the rest stop food court.
Delicious food, lots of options, good price, and very friendly. Try their shawarma plate and hummus.
They also have fresh fruit juice. Just don’t get their «lemonade», it’s basically lemon juice!

Really nice food, better than Pita Inn, great hummus and chicken shawerma, also an entrée comes with nice cucumber/​tomato salad, and roasted zucchini, instead of stupid lettuce like in Pita Inn. However, drink choice is limited — only fountain drinks

I love it! Tasty. I love stopping here driving to Chicago from Milwaukee! Great food and halal! I would def come back ! The gyro is tasty with the veggies. The people are really nice that work there and it’s very fast !

My big bro and I decided to go here for some Arab food. Being that it was halal, it was perfect for him. It was good for me because I’m a fan of chicken wraps. Little did we know, it was located inside of the oasis off 94. We were a bit skeptical at first but low and behold, this place is really delicious. It’s standards surpasses those of restaurants in an oasis and is up to par to other Arab restaurants. I ordered the chicken kebab wrap and I was very satisfied with what I was served. The chicken was flavorful and the vegetables they put inside the wrap were amazing. Perfectly seasoned. I was also able to try the hummus. It was a tad salty but delicious nonetheless. The workers were really charismatic and made it a welcoming experience here at this place. Although I won’t be going on any road trips or long drives any time soon, I’ll definitely be going to this oasis. Highly recommend!
