I have been a life-​long sufferer of migraine headaches, and was referred to acupuncture in my early 20’s. At that point, I was so sick all the time, that I would have hit my head with a hammer if someone told me it would take the pain away.
When I was in nursing school, my headaches came back full force, after several years of freedom. I was referred to Steve by one of my professors, and I am eternally grateful. I have been seeing Steve on and off since 2009. He can stop an ER level migraine in its tracks. When I’m really suffering, I consider a trip to Goodman Wellness to be money well spent.
Steve really cares, and tries to fit me in if I’m in a crisis. I wish he was available 24 hours! Ha!
Our health care system is ridiculous, in that it doesn’t pay for alternative therapies. I’ve spent waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy more money within our lovely health care system on migraine –related ER visits, than I could possibly spend on a lifetime of acupuncture appointments.
If you’re suffering from chronic pain, and Western medicine has failed you (I’m a part of that machine… I understand our limitations), do yourself a favor and see Steve.

Steve himself is awesome. He explains the reason behind your treatments. He is caring and has helped me in a variety of self-​help options such as my diet and exercise.
