Our Mission — For over 31 years, Mordini General Contracting has been helping families on the North Shore renovate their homes. From kitchen and bath renovations to basements and home offices to gut rehabs and additions, we help our clients achieve their dream project with the least amount of disruption possible to their home and family.

Building or remodeling your home will most likely be the most significant investment you will make. No matter how simple or extensive your home remodeling project may be — it should be an exciting and rewarding process. It’s important to work with a general contractor that has experience on all aspects of your job from plumping and electrical to building out space and installing cabinets. Your new kitchen, bath, room design, basement or outdoor space will have my personal touch and supervision with cleanliness & communication being of the highest priority at each of our worksites from start to finish.

History

Established in 1982.

While I was working for other people, I learned very quickly how to spot a good company from a bad company & how to treat both customers & employees. As an apprentice, I soon learned what defines a good company — one which respects both customers & employees & takes pride in a job well done. In 1982, I formed Mordini Enterprises (a part-​time business) with the purchase of my first three flat rental property. Because the property needed work & I had no money to fix it up, I bought the tried & true Time Life Home Improvement book series to supplement what I had already learned & went to work.

In 1984, I decided to take that construction knowledge & focus on customer service & Mordini General Contracting was born. In the nearly 29 years since then, I have shared my knowledge & experiences with my customers as I have guided them through remodeling projects ranging from basic bathrooms to major renovations to new construction. I feel one of the keys to the success is open communication.
