Not only was the person behind the counter rude and grumpy… this is super bad when you’re in the middle of Tourist Town here… But she also gave the wrong order. Ordered a mocha and got an Americano Coffee. And it wasn’t event that good.

If you want a real cigar on the island, this is the place to go. Largely because there is no other place to go. The staff working the day we stopped in knew a fair amount about the smokes and the coffee was pretty good. No complaints at all. I’ll pop in again.

I was desperate for some caffeine, and the other coffee places on Unilocal were closed and I ended up here. The coffee stand is in the back, I had to wait for a barista, I’m not sure if there is one dedicated to just the coffee since this is also a retail shop. I ordered a white mocha and was not impressed since I’m a true starbucks fan. The white mocha was a white powder out of a clear container. I was focused on that and missed watching the rest of the coffee making process. The coffee here is total weak sauce. My caffeine headache did not go away and there was no kick in the coffee either. There are feelings you get from having good coffee and I wasn’t digging it. Staff here was kind of weird, no friendly small talk just all business. I would hesitate to come back.

If this shop was not in Hawaii it will go out of business very soon. Terrible service.

The review is for the cigar part of the store. Stopped in to grab one for my last night on Maui before I return to Oahu. They have a decent selection. I’m not a cigar expert so the lady working there helped give me some info on the different types they had.

Not family friendly. Only negative experience on the beautiful island of Maui. We chose Sir Wilfred’s because it was a local shop, that served local coffee. Upon entry, my son picked up and chipped a frog salt shaker that was balanced on the lowest box on the lowest shelf in this shop. The owner demanded we pay for this poorly placed object. We offered to buy 3 pounds of coffee(the reason we entered), retail about $ 60, but the GM said, «Don’t buy the coffee, you are buying the $ 20 frog. I’m including a picture with this post. The lesson learned, don’t buy the coffee, even the GM says so!!! After reading all of the negative reviews about their bad product, I am so happy we didn’t buy their bad coffee to give as gifts to our family! See my other positive reviews about the other beautiful AND family friendly places in Lahaina!

I’m not sure where to start, the terrible service I got for spending 30 $ a week for cups of coffee including good tip or the fact they don’t know how to make coffee?! There is or was one nice blonde who works nights but the old lady and the other girl suck! You get irratated with me huffing because you didn’t hear me say SOY, your bad! Few tips of advice #1 your def not suppose to pull the shots before you even begin to to pour the milk out of the fridge, changes the taste especially after sitting there for a good few minutes, 2 your screaming milk, that’s not the way to froth, seems as though you have never been taught how to make coffee, if your going to be rude I’ll go one street over to Lahainaluna and buy a good consistent latte that is much better at CAFECAFE where there staff is always nice! And actually know a thing or 2 about good local coffee. Taking my money one block over! Cafecafe, I’ve closed my work 2 times to get a coffee and barista bar was closed, during business hours! LAME

I like any coffee place that isn’t that over-hyped overpriced bitter crap you get at Starbucks. So I decided it was time for coffee. Then I saw that they kept their coffee in those thermos containers. I turned around. I didn’t know how long the coffee was sitting there or how much it cooled down. Disappointing.

Based on appearances I was hoping for a fresh and good tasting cup of coffee. Instead it was premaid stuff they keep in containers like a gas station and tasted neither fresh nor good.

Stop! Look no further! This is it! Their coffee is really flavorful, delicious, and well, what I crave when income to Maui. My husband and I spend about six weeks on the island a year and I promise you the one thing I love to spoil myself with time and time again is their coffee! If you like plain-jane, they have it. If you like your frufru, they have it! Most of their drinks are made to order unless you’re getting one of the two coffees they have for just a cup of coffee. Might I add usually one of them is a macnut or something fun like that. Rarely have I waited in line here, but if I had to, I would. It’s worth it. This store also has cigars and gifty type of souvenirs, just so you know. I’m sure they are lovely, I just haven’t had the need. See you there for your jolt in a cup!

We always stop here while shopping in Lahaina. The coffee aroma as you walk is just too much to pass up. There have different varieties that you can try.

We’ve bought bags of coffee here a couple times while in Maui and have been pretty pleased with Sir Wilfred’s quality and selection. Additionally, they have a café where you can buy a cup. I think they’ve also got The Hawaiian Tea Company tea that we enjoy(particularly the Hawaiian Breakfast and Maui Passion). A good place to buy coffee and tea to take home, if you’re in to that.

This is on the«must stop» list for the first day we arrive in Maui each time. This is my husband’s place to stock up on Cigars that he enjoys daily until our departure back home. They have a good selection of Cigar’s for all price ranges.

We went here yesterday after reading one 5-star review on Unilocal. It seems like there is a store and coffee stand and this review is for the coffee stand only. Basically, their espresso machine was broken and we had to settle for their regular(iced) coffee. The coffee here tasted just as bad as the one we brewed in our hotel room. To make matters worse, they only validate your parking if you make a minimum $ 25 purchase at the store. Since parking was $ 2 for 30 minutes, we paid $ 4 for a cup of really bad coffee! Thus, one star!

The coffee here is amazing… the BF and I discovered this place on a trip to Maui a few years back. After smelling and sampling several of their flavored coffee beans, we returned home with a small bounty of beans for our self and family. Fast-forward to today… BF and I are craving really good coffee and fantasizing about coffee from Hawaii. I find out that my parents have been having this stuff shipped over!!! WTF, they didn’t even tell me. So I go to their house and help myself to 2lbs. of «hula pie» coffee. All I have to say is YUM… drinking this coffee takes me right back to Maui.
