I’d give them negative stars if I could…
We were excited to do a canoe ride. I had booked this tour months in advance and it was pre-​paid on their website. We wound up having a friend join us and she went to book the tour at a later date. Soon after, she got an email that told her the tour was canceled and she was receiving a refund. Me: no such email. I contacted the company about a week before to find out what the story was and got a response back saying that it was canceled, due to the fact that they were moving location. He said that he would get that to me right away. That was the last time I have gotten ANY response from this company.
A few days later, I wrote another email to find out if this was taken care. No response. I sent another one after that. No response. I finally called my credit card company (thank god for them) to open a dispute for the charge. I sent them my emails and they took care of it.
I totally understand having to cancel tours, but the way that they handled this situation was totally unprofessional and if I hadn’t contacted my credit card company, I’d never have gotten my money back.
I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy…

This review is about board rentals. While the staff is friendly they are often not there during posted hours, I have come by several times to rent surfboards to find the gate locked and no one there. I also had an issue when trying to pay for a rental. The organization takes credit cards but the last time I was there the iPad was, which processes credit card sales, was being used and the burden was on me to go find cash! So nice people but rental service not so good.

This place is about 20 steps from the water. doesn’t look like much from the outside. Don’t be turned away. I was quickly greeted by a friendly young local. Quickly got us started for our rentals and told us not to worry about the time. Returned several hours later and were checked in with no hassles. Equipment was just fine. Take a moment to look around the shop where they are working on authentic Polynesian watercraft. You see where your money is going… to carry on Polynesian traditions. I’ll plan on going back next time we are on the island. Thanks.

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!! The guides were patient to wait until we could spot whales up close. After a bit, a couple surfaced nearby. We saw them take several breathes and knew that they were about to dive deep. Just when we thought our encounter was over, they surprised us by popping up on the other side of our outrigger. VERY CLOSE! When one turned and started toward us, We may or may not have been a bit panicked! Thankfully he turned away. Incredible! Willy gave us a great show!

Paddle boarding was sick. You better have abs like me… lots of core work needed for this nonsense.
If you are a grom, come here and learn all kinds of ocean activities.
Everyone was chill and affable. I mean, it’s paradise over here, why not be happy ²⁴⁄₇?
Kinda pricey, but you get what you pay for.

This place gets 5 stars for service and awesome people! The woman at the counter was so friendly and not at all pushy like other places we went to before this one. In a party of 4 only 1 needed a surfing lesson. At another location near front at we were being pushed to all get the lesson or if only one lesson then pay double. So unfair. Anyways, here they didn’t give us a hard time and the other 3 rented boards and I a paddle board. The surfing lesson my friend got was awesome– the instructor was native hawaiian and he spent as much time as she needed to learn. As much as she needed, meaning he didn’t stop short at all. He pushed her until she rode some waves! my rental was cool, the same guy told me to head out some place and I did, and guess what? Alone on my paddle board in ran into some interesting ocean creatures. I’m not going to say what or where but believe me it was amazing. After the rentals we watched a 12 minute video on the history of canoes and that was a nice break from the heat. The screen is in a dark room towards the back and you really learn something. This place is awesome. They even let you use the feet covers and overall they are pleasant to work with. They didn’t give us a hard time about this or that and there’s a shower and bathrooms near them as well. Aloha spirit all the way!
