Not impressed with Lulu’s…my husband and I had dinner here… the food was bland and had no flavor. However the drinks were good. Plenty of seating inside and outside.

If you want a taste of Maui at a decent price, come to this place! Dining out in Maui can be a huge hit on your wallet but this place was super affordable and the food was great and huuuuge portion sizes! Tip — The macadamia pancakes are things dreams are made of :)

Great beer selection on tap and cordial service. 3 of us decided to have lunch. Loco Moco for 2 and I had fish and chips. Funky Time spice flavor on the fish batter. No lemon with the order. Chips were ok fish slightly undercooked. Loco Moco ho-hum but maybe that’s the way it is supposed to be. Nothing spectacular here. I’d come back for the beer but that’s all.

Well the food use to b good. Not today. No seasoning in burger patty whatsoever. No seasoning on anything. Very bland. Hostess was rude. Service was okay.

Great breakfast stop! Sat on patio while we waited for our breakfast to arrive. Had the Big Kahuna omelet which packed everything local meat wise and some spinach and mushrooms to kick up the health content. Had iced tea since we’re not coffee drinkers and the waiter was sure to keep the glasses full. He could’ve saved a lot of steps by leaving the pitcher, but he did a good job taking care of our needs. My wife had a simple egg and cheese omelet with a side of applewood smoked bacon and they were well donee also. Nice hash browns on the side. Will definitely go back here this week!

We ended up here for a variety of reasons on New Year’s Eve: — I thought walking from downtown Lahiana to this area would be quick; it was not. — We were waiting for our reservation at Frida’s. — My feet were soooooo sore from all the walking. — It didn’t look too crowded. My husband ordered the oxtail soup and I had a bit of it. The meat was so tender and the broth was quite flavorful. I didn’t expect the food to be as good as it was. We only ordered some drinks as well, so overall the food experience was nice. The staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful when we realized we needed to leave. Even though they became busier, we weren’t forgotten. There was a live band that was actually pretty good. That really made the ambiance. I imagine if you were with a group of friends or playing pool in the back, it would be a lot of fun. It felt like more of a locals place? *The best part was watching all the different New Year’s Eves going on around the world on the big screens. Usually, I am not a fan of tvs in restaurants, but this was definitely a treat.

Boring. This is an adorable bar that is probably fun on football Sundays or relative times. We were here for dinner and while everything was presented well and promptly delivered we found that there was a serious lack of flavor. I ordered the truffle Mac and cheese, a few in my party tired it and agreed that there was nothing special about this dish. Another of us ordered the NY steak plate and she also complained that her dish was dull and uninspired. The service was great! The server was attentive and polite, the hostess was helpful and friendly and the food runners were attuned and prompt.

Swung over for breakfast after walking by en route to Boss Frog’s. The large tables with window seats were commandeered by parties of 1, 2, and 1 respectively. What the? This left our party of 5 with limited options: Sit in the spooky dark way-back, or push two ill-fitting tables together as a stop-gap. Our hostess didn’t seem terribly eager to place us at either spot. The iffy service, combined with the lack of kids menu at breakfast led us to decide to leave before ordering. Less than pumped.

It was the only place open on Thanksgiving Day and we were Starving, and too stubborn to order overpriced room service. Anyway, we got in, almost no one was there. We ordered right away since we pretty much have an idea of what we wanted. I ordered the poke, which is enough to split between 2 people. I find it very flavorful yet, a bit on the salty side. Maybe if you squeeze some lemon(they didnt provide any) it might balance it a little. We also ordered the truffle fries. They were amazing! Crispy on the outside with just the right amount of truffle oil, and seaweed. Yes, seaweed. I’ve seen this place busy on other days, so maybe it is a popular spot for tourists. I will be back to try the other items in their menu when I come back.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. While the grilled tofu was okay the summer roll was outstanding. Prices are decent did the area.

We came across Lulu’s on a trip to the Cannery Mall in Lahaina. One our never-ending search to find the best Happy Hour spot on Maui we luckily stumbled upon them during theirs! $ 4 Mai Tai’s during Happy Hour. They were okay but not nearly the best we have had on Maui so far. They seemed a bit weak but the price was great and for the taste I would give them an average rating. They had a very interesting menu and did have some gluten free options for my SO to try. We tried the Furikake Fries and were very happy with them. You get a HUGE serving of fries. We were glad we decided to share something. The one section where gluten free was lacking was the dessert section. I would assume the sorbet was GF but it wasn’t listed as so. The descriptions of all of the other desserts led me to believe they weren’t GF as well. It would be nice to have a few dessert selections available for Celiac guests. They do promote that they support and use local ingredients and had a great list of the farms they source from. This place is huge too! It is in the old pineapple Cannery building so it is very industrial looking which is pretty cool to look at. They also have some current and vintage surf boards, outriggers canoes, etc hanging from the wall. Lots of TV’s to watch whatever sport is playing. If you are staying in or visiting Lahaina this would be a great spot to grab a drink or try some interesting local food.

Glutenfree selection on the menu seems good. Desserts… well, not as much, but happy hour until 7! I think the $ 4 Mai Tai will make a fine dessert. Fries… I couldn’t get past the selection available. Furikake… my favourite! I’d never tried it on fries, only on rice and rice balls. Tasty tasty and nice crispy fries with gravy at the same time. Marked as gluten free and I forgot in my excitement to ask about the fryer… it may be shared/cross contaminated, but I’m usually really sensitive and had no reaction, so… yay?! Be sure to inquire before you order if concerned. @LuLusLahaina: We are so blessed to have the talents of Nestor every Monday 7−10pm for Pau Hana Monday’s 50% off pupus & drinks… Purse hooks at the bar seating! Yeah yeah you say, no biggie-but it IS! Hanging your purse off your knee or in your lap… a serious recipe for disaster! Spill food, or your drink. No aloha there! Big curved booths that seat 6 comfortably, squish 8. Lots of tables, or sit right at the bar. Indoor and outdoor seating. Fans inside are actually effective at moving the air. Too bad the upper windows don’t open, there’d be a wicked breeze if they did. TV’s on both sides of the bar. Pool tables in the back, DJ booth/band area, dance floor, but a little hot back there. If the upper windows opened to catch those beautiful breezes it might cool off a bit. The fans work hard, air does move, and with choice of indoor and outdoor seating you should be able to find your comfort. Bathrooms, clean, and change tables in both men’s and ladies! Not your most common finding.

This was our go-to spot on the island for football when we were in town recently. We’re big college football fans, so we needed to find a spot to watch our games even though it was 7am! The bar has a good number of screens(4 on each side), and the staff is very good about working with you to put your game on the screen. There’s a good variety of local beers on tap, and the food is your basic good bar food. I was there for breakfast one day and lunch a week later(again: big football fans!), and I have to say that their breakfast was the better of the two. I would definitely recommend for your breakfast drinking/football/brunch spot on the island. If you’re not big into football, make sure to keep that in mind before heading there on a Saturday or Sunday in the fall!

Nice place to be for Sunday football but be prepared for slow service and busy atmosphere. They had about 8 tvs at the bar, 4 on each side. They also have a lounge area in the back where you can play some pool. BREAKFAST: The service was friendly regardless of how busy they were but they did lack speed. It may be faster to order alcoholic drinks from the bar. This morning they had a ‘make your own bloodymary’ station. The fried rice was delicious and not too salty. The ahi benedict was fresh and peppery. The oxtail soup tasted like the Filipino dish, nilaga. The haupia malasadas was not too sweet. Their POG mimosa was delcious and refreshing. DINNER: Not too busy for a Monday night and they were able to seat 15 people quite quickly. The menu was slightly different from their breakfast menu. I do wish that they can substitute white rice with their kim chee fried rice. Their truffle mac and cheese was delicious. Their loco moco was thick and savory. Their gravy was bomb! Their katsu curry was perfect! The dinner experience here made me give this place 4 stars. Still one star missing as the morning service was painfully slow.

We got here at 7am to watch Sunday NFL games and it was perfect. The place is very spacious with a lot of TVs and the booths are really roomy, not to mention the comfortable couches they have in front of the big projector! The staff is really nice and friendly, and the manager came and checked on us a couple of times. Our waiter was great, and he was able to get me the Ahi Poke bowl even though it’s only breakfast time. The poke was amazing, ans so fresh! Our friends got the Ahi Eggs Benedict and the eggs were a bit overcooked but they really like the Ahi. It was hard to find a sports bar that would open at 7am for football, but Lulu’s was and it has a great setup. I would definitely go back, especially for their ahi poke!

Lulu’s has gotten hammered by some reviewers by their slow service, my experience was just the opposite, service and the food were spot on. We had the tempura fish and chips, it was fantastic, super hot and melted in your mouth, the burger was excellent, Da North Shore salad had nice big perfectly seasoned prawns, I was a little disappointed by the Angry Hog pork sandwich. I felt the sandwich was drown in sauce and you couldn’t taste the favor of the meat. This is Hawaii, they should be making a Kalua pork sandwich. Dinner was great, the food exceeded my expectations. Lulul’s if you’re reading this, update your menu online, I was disappointed that the nachos were taken off the menu.

Really lovely! Great, relaxed, ambiance, loads of local brewed beers, and a very expansive menu. I’d love to return for breakfast, as it seems to have won many awards. We had the seared ahi tuna kale ceasar, which was delightful. Great service, wonderful breezes coming through, and good music. The only downside is its location, but I’d be more than happy to come back!

Our last stop before heading to the airport for our Honolulu flight. Love the place. Reasons: 1. They carry my pet name(lol) 2. Grilled food is a fave 3. Cool surfing décor 4. Served the best local favorite dish I have tasted(sumo-min :charsiu, wonton, chicken, spam, fish cake, won bok, veggies soup) 5. Reasonable local draft beer price 6. Friendly staff 7. Nice atmoshpere 8. Quiet bar. Recommended to be a place to hang out, doesnt need to go to the main street of the Lahaina town. Ambianc eis sufficient enough.

Lulu’s was our last stop before heading back to California. We wanted to grab something light to avoid the airport prices just in case we got hungry. I ordered the sunny side up eggs and toast, which is my favorite breakfast food! I love dipping my toast in my egg yoke! They made the perfect sunny side up eggs. It didn’t have any of that runny egg whites that look like snot. The whole egg was cook to perfection! My husband ordered some kind of omelette. He chose the egg white omelette because he’s such a health nut! They actually put a lot of cheese when he stated to the waitress that he wanted easy cheese. He wasn’t too happy and since we had to go to the airport after he didn’t want them to make a new one because we were short on time. The weather was nice! We requested a seat outside, which made our eating experience more enjoyable even though my husband spent a lot of his time pulling out the cheese.
