Great spot with a good view for people watching. It kind of has a dirty dive bar feel to it but they have good food specials every night and happy hour. We had the nachos and fish and chips and they were both delicious!

This place is very open! Don’t know who started that rumor. Good cocktails, friendly staff and delicious food. Had the mahi mahi tacos. which were super delicious and big as was the kahlua pork quesadilla. Lots of flavor. Plenty of TVs to watch sports and other shows. I will definitely be back.

What a shame to hear Moose McGillycuddy’s is closed! During a week in Maui a few years ago, we liked the food so much here that we returned for another meal… All you can eat seafood at its finest!

NOOOOOOOOOO!!! moose’s in lahaina is one of our top two breakfast spots… fried rice instead of potatoes… chicken fried steak, eggs benedict, NEVER had a bad meal here in the five trips we’ve made… service was ALWAYS the best, i know they used to have early bird breakfast specials. what a bummer. been to other moose’s in So Cal, unfortunately not same menu from place to place. am SOO sad to hear this news, so much for next friday’s breakfast(gazebo will be friday’s) like an old friend, lahaina’s moose’s location will be SORELY missed!

I took my family of five here after the sunrise whale watch. Food was good, staff attentive, all for 52 $. We had waters for drink. One of about 3 families in the restaurant. Watched Lahaina wake up from 2nd floor balcony. It appears it is much more a «college type» bar in the evening, but food was good and appears to be made on site. Had breakfast sandwich and a banana muffin.

While visitng Lahaina, the family stopped here to enjoy a leisurely lunch… and to watch a football game or three. HOLYTVBATMAN! There were TVs at every turn, so I felt like I was binge watching football. If you can get a table near the side balcony, the view is pretty cool. It was deafening loud, because all of the hardcore fans came out to watch the games. Service was pretty good, considering how crowded it was. I had the fish and chips, with their famous tartar sauce. It didn’t disappoint. The portion was large enough to satisy, but not small enough to leave me hungry. Prices are pretty reasonable compared to other eateries along Front Street, so I definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking for a chill place to eat and have fun.

Pretty laid back and love that’s it’s on the top floor. They have seating overlooking Front St. Didn’t try the food, but had a drink for happy hour; piña colada was delish! I love all the crazy décor all over the restaurant, kinda reminds me of the show American Pickers. Good ambiance for a dive bar, check it out!

Stopped in after walking around Lahaina and getting thirsty. Happy hour was starting and the Beers were $ 3. and the drink specials were $ 4. Our group had about 10 drinks, I had a Newcastle and a Stella. TV’s had a lot of games on and then they were getting ready for dancing and Karaōke. Moose’s is like a college bar and the restrooms are just like imagined. Happy Hour prices for beer make it a decent watering hole in Lahaina. We did not have any food so this is only for the drinks.

Maybe the most pleasant surprise on the island. The chicken tacos are DELICIOUS. The crispy chicken sandwich is also solid, the ranch it comes with is awesome. Service was great, our waiter was super friendly.

grimey, dirty, hole in the wall kind of feel. But on TUESDAY nights — its the spot to be in West Maui… shoots it might be the place to be in all of Maui come Tuesdays! Located right on front street — tis the place to hang out, have drinks, and dance the night away. Even better if you’re on a budget! $ 5 cover and $ 1 well drinks, how can you possibly go wrong? 10 drinks in and you won’t noticed how dingy the place is — but i promise you that you’ll have a great time. The vibe is cool the music is groovin and everybody has a great time!

LOL this place reminded me of the college bars back in LA… I don’t know if it was the music or décor that made me feel that way, but it did. Maui isn’t known for its nightlife so I wasn’t really expecting much either. The lava flows were WAYTOOSWEET. Which was sad because it was our last night there and I wanted a good lava flow, gosh darn it! The prices weren’t bad, and there were actually plenty of places to sit and hang out. I’m sure it’s a completely different atmosphere during the day, and the reviews make me want to go watch football there, but my experience was just average. Not bad, but just average.

I’ve only been in here for drinks, so I can’t review any food items, but the menu is pretty extensive and priced moderately. I don’t think many people will choose Moose’s as a place to dine when there are tons of other restaurants nearby on bustling Front Street. SERVICE: On this particular Saturday evening, the female bartender forgot to come back and take my order after handing me the menu(I’d say a span of maybe 3 minutes,) so another female bartender checked on me and took my order. The original bartender felt bad and comped my drink. That was so nice of her. I wasn’t expecting anything like that, especially since no complaint or mad behaviors were displayed.

Came here for breakfast. Huge portion. Typical breakfast food with eggs, spam and fried rice is not good at all. I remeber the location in waikiki tasted alot better.

First let me say that I am embarrassed to even be writing the review… It is kind of like writing a review for a skin dr. or a strip club… do I really want anyone to know I hung out there? So before I go on, I need to do some serious rationalizing… Rtaionalization #1: Lahaina mysteriously doesn’t have much of a night life. And every now and then it is nice to go out. Rationalization #2: I am Scottish and Moose’s does have $ 1 drink nights on Tuesday and Saturday. The $ 1 drink nights start at nine and I got there at ten minutes til… they had just started charging the $ 5 cover. I think if you tell them you will be getting dinner they won’t so next time I might do that. So now I am figuring that I would need to order 5 drinks to get the average cost down to $ 2 each. Still a bargain for Maui! The bar started filling up. A lot of locals and young travelers who had met locals. I sat at the bar and through the course of the evening I met several nice, fun people. I ordered a Greyhound. It cost $ 1 extra to get it with Absolute. Now I am figuring 5 drinks $ 3 per drink average. The people watching was first rate. The players were on their game trolling the bar for drunk teachers from the midwest. There were the wanna-be players who were trolling for just about anyone as long as they were stupid drunk. I am thinking that this place is their best shot in Maui. A large group of people next to me ordered 14 gin and tonics. Well-gin so they got a ton of alcohol at the $ 1 price. Some of them were there before me and avoided the cover. They knew how to play this game. I watched the bartender pour my drink, a generous shot of Absolute and a top-off of grapefruit juice. Yet it didn’t seem to have the alcohol effect. I was kind of pleased because the 5 drink goal seemed somewhat plausable! The bar was getting full and the DJ was turning it up a bit. Since the dance floor is off to the side from the bar/restaurant it was still possible to carry on a conversation. The place really was a meat market but the crowd was enjoying themselves. Some of the tourists seemed to be leaving, with travel and all it was getting pretty late in their home time zones. The place seemed to be mostly a local crowd… time for the second greyhound. Again it appeared to be a generous pour and again, no effect. I started to wonder how could this be? I saw him open a new bottle so I am not suggesting anything funny, maybe I am just good at holding my liqour. The large group ordered another round of gin and tonics… They seem to do it right. I never reached my five drink goal, I had a beer to finish off the evening. A draft Newcastle. It was a pint for $ 3. So I figured I spent a total of $ 12 on three drinks and had a $ 4 average, with the tip it was $ 5. It can be done, but at the sacrafice of a little quality. I left early, about 11:15. When I walked down the stairs I noticed a line to get in, probably 200 people or more! Wow! Cheapskates!
