Kahana Koin-Op Laundromat

$ 3.75 a load and the clothes came out barely wet! Over an hour in the dryer (@ .25 cents for 3) mins and clothes were still still wet. This place is terrible.

Ghetto! Run Down! No management around! Completely utterly disgusting! We came here about 6 – 7 years ago, and it was clean, ac was working, all machines were working. But now, all the big washer are broken. Especially washer#3! We put our coins in and BOOM, all it did was wet our clothes. It didn’t even cycle. On top of that, we had to wait for our clothes to be done in order for us to take it out. Call the number on the door and you get a voice measage. This is by far the most horrendous place ever to wash your clothes. STICK WITH LAHAINA! KAHANA IS A JOKE

Avoid at all costs… Most machines are broken and it’s become a sad little place. There are NO front loading washing machines functioning currently and only a few beat up top loaders. No contact info available for change taken by faulty equipment.

Came here several years ago when was last in Maui. Then, the laundromat was worth three to four stars. But now, no so much. A good number of the front loading washers had «out of order» signs on them. There were two broken machines sitting in the common area. And to top it off, I lost $ 3.25 and the detergent in an unreported broken machine. It was nice of them to have a call in number to report problems; too bad it’s a message service. I’ll probably be back in CA before I get a call back.
Moving on, there were no paper towels to clean up spills. The seating is extremely limited and jammed into tight spaces, like up against a couple of rows of candy machines. You’d think the place would have an on-​site attendant to keep the place clean and to ensure the broken washers are properly marked. This place is near Kapalua/​Kaanapali so I expected more. I’ve had better experiences at laundromats in the inner-​city areas of Los Angeles.
Next time, I’ll just go home with dirty laundry or take my chances with the hotel laundry service.
So much potential for just a bit of effort. Fixing this place up would make for a great HGTV project.
