I will never deal with these people again. They are rude and just plain shady. Craig’s wife is horrendous and should not be dealing with the public at all. After reading some reviews on these two owners, it looks like they found each other at some «I HATE PEOPLE» event. Sometimes it’s worth passing up a place just because you don’t think the people running it are worth giving your business to. This is one of those places.

Once again we browsed and once again we came up empty handed. But always worth the stop, since their prices are so fantastic.

I had a horrible experience with Paradise Living. Craig is nasty! He yells at people. He actually had me in tears. He did some re-​upholstering for us. I provided the fabrics. He was to do a double chase lounge cushion, and stuffing, in addition to 11 seats. I called and asked Shirley if she could put foam into the cushion because when someone sits on it the Dacron stuffing does not hold anyone up. They are sitting on the strapping below. Shirley told me to call Lahaina Carpet & Interiors because they can cut me a piece of foam, she will then have one of her guys go over pick it up when ready, stuff it and bring it to me. When I called to tell her it was ready, Craig got on the phone and proceeded to tell me that «he did his job and nothing else is required of him» He said I do not do foam. I tried to explain that Shirley is the one who told me about Lahaina Carpet and to order the foam, which cost $ 265, and she would have one of her guys go get it. He said, and I quote, «What part of I DO NOT DO FOAM do you not understand». «We are done with your work and we will not do anything else».
Can I say anything more? They are the worst customer service people I have ever worked with. I will not let anyone yell at me or put me in tears ever again.
I wish I could not even do a 1 star. They do not deserve that!

While they do have some affordable furniture, I will be taking my business elsewhere. We wanted to buy a piece of furniture and initially found Shirley very helpful when we stopped by. On each of our next THREE visits, the owner’s wife was minding the store. She is not helpful and far from friendly. We felt like we were a bother to her and she also quoted higher prices. We decided it was best to keep coming back till she was not in the store. On our FIFTH visit, Shirley was there and we FINALLY purchased the furniture we wanted.
Unfortunately, there was a big mix up with the promised delivery schedule. Once they were several hours late, I was frustrated and called the store. I ended up speaking with (or being shouted at) by the owner (Craig). What was a simple misunderstanding turned into a very unpleasant situation. His tone was very harsh and I could not believe he speaks to customers in that fashion. I was stunned. The conversation was indescribably upsetting to me. I was so distraught I could barely describe it all to my husband. No ‘bargain’ they have is worth what I experienced.

When you need some island furniture that won’t break the bank, this is the place to go. I found them when I owned a vacation condo and they are my go to furniture joint on island. They specialize in mostly refurbished pieces (very nicely done) from island homes, but they do have some new furniture and décor too. This is like a treasure hunt every time I am on island. I always find some island treasure I just got to have. Shipped a small table home and a nice little doodad in my suitcase as I fly over the Pacific. Stop in and say aloha to Miranda, Craig and Karen. I bet you will be going home with a little used aloha in your poke.
