Great selection, good prices, helpful staff. Bought the Cobian, Hawaii exclusives and they are very comfortable. Check this place out when visiting Kaanapali and in need of some good sandals.

Love their selections here. I wish they had a website. A must stop here when I’m in Maui

This place has a lot of — you guessed it — flip flops. The prices are reasonable and the selection is great. Nothing else to really say of this place.

Located ground level, in corner. As expected, this is ‘flips r us’ — almost. If you Dont carry Oofos, then you lose a star lol. Good selection of men’s, on the left.

We were casually shopping at the Whalers Village and strolled by Flip Flop Shops. What caught our attention was the high-end brands of comfort shoes and flip-flops they offer. They have the top major brands available: OluKai, Sanuk, Cobian and Reef. We decided to stop in and have a look, especially since we needed to purchase a gift for a friend. The staff left us alone, which is cool as it was no pressure shopping. When I needed a hand, Chelsea was quite knowledgeable of their store inventory and pointed me to the options they had. We were lucky and found what we liked, and the sale went smoothly and quickly. The prices seemed reasonable; I double-checked at Sanuk official website. The pair we bought was justifiably a few bucks more, as it was the Hawaii version that the website doesn’t offer. If you want comfortable flip-flops, skip the cheap ass inventory at the adjacent ABC store and get yourself something nice, your feet will thank you for it. Last thing you need is to ruin your vacation with unhappy feet.

I’m a firm believer in good shoes. Being an avid hiker/backpacker I know the value of an excellent pair of comfortable shoes or flip flops. Excellent performing shoes or flip flops comes at a price. Usually steep ones. I don’t mind. I hope you guys don’t mind too. If you walk a lot you know that the cheap ones out there will give you more problems than you need. Callous, bad gait, that leads to bad back, etc. So this store carries brand names that are well known for comfort and long life. My favorite is the brand Sanuk. It’s the best. It’s made of yoga mat therefore your feet can stand the constant pavement pounding while you walk. Every little shock that goes through your feet gets transferred to your knees then to your back… you get the picture. Buy the good stuff. Take care of your feet. In the end you take care of that one and only back you have. Bad back equals a miserable life. Execellent service from an excellent store with excellent products. So yeah don’t go next door to ABC to buy your cheap flip flops. You get so much more in return when you wear good shoes, that is if you can afford it of course.

I don’t intend the following review to be an attack on this store, just a piece of consumer advice. We purchased a pair of Reef sandals($ 40) from here four days ago and they were lightly worn over the course of those four days. On the third day, the woven strap began to unravel, so faulty merchandise. So, we attempted to go back to the store and exchange them, receipt etc. in hand. Upon speaking with the woman at the desk, she immediately and tersely instructed us that exchanges in the shop were not possible on worn merchandise, even if that merchandise is defective. She even went as far to say that if they had only been worn ten minutes outside the store that they wouldn’t accept them back. All part of store policy. We then informed them about stores like Nordstrom’s that regularly perform this type of service on defective merchandise, ie they stand behind what they sell. Her retort was that since it was a franchise store, they don’t operate in this manner. I have no idea why that was supposed to help us as a consumer and customer of their store. In short, they don’t stand behind their merchandise. At any rate, she was rude and did not help us one bit(we asked for the manager, turns out she is the manager). She informed us to contact Reef(not even being helpful or compassionate enough to give us their number) and washed her hands of us. 0 stars. P. S. We contacted Reef and they were extremely helpful, exchanges no questions asked.

If you’re in Hawaii, then you should wear what the locals wear. Ya, slippas or we know them as Flip Flops. You can find mid to high end flip flops in here. Interesting to note that cheap flip flops cannot be found here. You will need to go to ABC or Longs to get the cheaper ones.
