I stopped by Londance one day just looking to learn to Salsa dance and every since, I can’t take the smile off my face. Patricia West the owner had me take a group lesson and a FREE
private lesson with Tony Nunez who I must say is just amazing. He had my personality and learning style figured out before I even knew what was happening and customized how best to teach me ! Londance is the happiest place on earth, everyone who works there is always helpful and ALL the instructors are professional. It is so nice to see people of all ages taking lessons too ! The group events are also so much fun and a great way to make new friends.
About learning to dance… I felt like I had two left feet when I walked in and was a little ADD on the learning curve with dancing information, but with Tony’s patience and expertice I know there is hope ! I have been in one Team Match and am going to Puerto Rico in November 2016 to compete as a Beginner with my instructor (this was never in my wildest dreams)
There is not one negative thing I can say about Londance, except if you don’t enjoy being happy or having succuess, then you probably should not go there… otherwise don’t hesitate for one moment !!

I have had a few months in between school and have found LonDance to be a terrific outlet during this time. The instructors are all terrific and so knowledgeable. Im really having a blast.

Well lit, bright studio. Patricia, the studio manager, is very nice. Professional environment. Had good instructor, Eric T. (or Eric C.- he’s changed his name). Very good technique and teaching skills were excellent. I purchase a package of 25 lessons and paid Eric directly in full ($ 1500). He said he is contracted by the studio and that he pays the studio for the use of the space. I chose him because he was referred to me and he verbally AGREED and was ABLE to accommodate my schedule. The lessons were so good that I purchased another package of 25 lessons, payment in full of $ 1500, directly to him. I completed a handful of lessons in the second package. After the 10^th lesson, Eric’s schedule started to change due his personal reasons and injuries. It was difficult to reschedule with him because of his obstacles and could no longer could accommodate my original time request. So I asked for a refund of the portion of lessons I did not get which were paid in full. He told me that my package expired. I was NEVER told by him that there was an expiration time on my purchased package. Shame on me for not getting a signed contract with him or this studio. Long story short, I ended the contract and lost money. It’s unfortunate that my experience with Londance had been affected by this negative situation. I would be VERY cautious in working with this studio, especially with private lessons. Ask for a written contract by the private instructor and signed by the studio manager. It was my bad judgement that I did not do that. I believe Eric T. will no longer teach at Londance. I trusted him because he was highly recommended by others. He’s a good instructor BUT handled this VERY unprofessional.

We’ve (me and my hubby) been dancing (pun intended) around the idea of taking dancing lessons for about 6 years and FINALLY he said ok, let’s do it. Where are we going to go? I said I just happen to have a coupon for 2 lessons (always hopeful) at LonDance! So glad we did! The people there are so nice and fun! Our instructor (s) Jillian and Cody are wonderful. We’ve really learned a lot! The group sessions are fun and helpful, and are included if you take lessons!!! We love it! Great way to spend time together during the week… not just on date night! Haven’t you ever gone out to a place that has a dance floor and is playing great music but you didn’t know how to dance to it? We cannot wait for the time when we are at a function or that special restaurant that has music for us to dance to! Got a couple of weddings coming up in December and January and we’ll be ready to dance the night away! My husband didn’t really like to dance before… I always liked to and now he does too! Go figure! Take the plunge, make the time, you will not be sorry! Great people at LonDance… see Patricia, she’ll get you a good deal!!!

Always thought ballroom dance was fun to watch and a little silly but I never thought I was any good at remembering steps. Turns out it’s engaging and athletically challenging. Warning: side effects include always trying to stand up straighter, breaking out in practice routines at the office or in public, and meeting nice people who are all in the same boat. Never thought I could do this and didn’t know it would be so enjoyable.

What a positive place! As soon as you walk into LonDance you can just feel the positive energy. I am quite shy and reserved, so it was a big step for me to even walk through the front door. Dancing was something I had always wanted to try, but something I never thought I could do. I have learned that anyone can dance, even if you have 2 left feet, like me! The instructors are all fabulous and really enjoy teaching and are oh so patient. Even though I believe anyone can dance, some do learn easier that others and I am not one of those so I appreciate the patience. :) I would highly recommend LonDance to anyone that would like to venture out and see how much they may enjoy dancing. It is great exercise too! They also put on some great social events where you can mix with instructors and students that are a lot of fun. You really do get a sense of community at LonDance! If you go in and ask for the owner Patricia, I am sure she would give you a free lesson to try it out. Nothing ventured, nothing gained! You will be glad you did!

If you want to learn how to dance, this is the studio for you! I have been taking lessons for almost a year now and I look forward to every one! It’s a great way to get in shape, have fun and really learn some good dance moves. Patricia West has developed a dance studio with really talented, award winning teachers who are very patient with students. The whole atmosphere is lively and enjoyable. I highly recommend Londance!

I know what’s going through your mind — «I’m a huge fan of (insert name of dance show here) and I’ve always wanted to take dance lessons BUT (insert reason here).
If you’re thinking what I think you’re thinking, let’s address this concerns one by one because Londance is truly a wonderful place and *say this in an Oprah voice*…if you don’t come here you’re missing oouuuut!
So, here. Tell me if these sound familiar:
1. «I’ve never done this before»
Hey, join the club! This is why the group classes are great. Londance offers beginner classes everyday and I promise you will make friends. Dancing brings out a loveliness in people — you learn together and laugh about it together. And the instructors encourage this. These are not old men/​women in suits shouting numbers at you and checking their watches — they are seriously funny but honestly want to show students how wonderful dance is.
2. «I’ve got two left feet»
You will surprise yourself. Yes, even you of the lower lip biting who only dances when you’re drunk at weddings. The classes and teachers bring out the best in you. These are not dancers teaching here as a hobby — they take genuine joy and pride in what they do. And this includes even that one time that you move your left foot when you’re supposed to.
3. «I don’t have a partner and I feel weird about dancing with someone I don’t know»
This made me squirm, too. «You mean I have to interact with other people??» As much as I was dreading it, even nervous about it, the atmosphere in Londance is infectious. I’m totally serious when I say that after 30 seconds of the class starting, I wasn’t even thinking about it anymore. Students are of all ages so don’t let that work its way into the excuse bin. This is a wonderful studio without the air of snobbery.
Unexpected benefit: A waistline! Get off the treadmill — this is sooo much better. I’m a longtime long-​distance triathlete who was in good shape to begin with and now? If my stomach wouldn’t blind people with its freakish whiteness, I’d put on a bikini.
Patricia, the owner, is a sweetheart and, just like her instructors, want you to love dance as much as they do. It’s like a family. If you’re going to try dance… come to Londance. You will LOVE it.

Very enjoyable and great atmosphere. I am a new dancer, but the owner and instructors are very kind and welcoming. Come one-​Come all!!! You won’t be sorry.

I bought a LivingSocial Deal so that I came here.
My experience was:
1) I left an inquiry in their website I have never got a reply
2) I took a beginner Tango group class there last last week (for 45 mins, while LivingSocial Deal said it should be a 90mins for each group class). Actually the studio is like ONE open dance floor where more than 7 groups of people are dancing at the same time, and that’s the one and only one ‘classroom’ for your class.
So, when I was having my class, there were 6 other groups of ‘private lessons’ going on at the same time on that dance floor. My class had 6 people and we were squeezed into a corner for lesson. As there were too many classes going on, I could hardly hear what my instructor was saying.
And it is so funny that they have one central audio system, so every instructor has to put their music into the waiting list (just like what you do in karaōke) and wait for it to play. So throughout our 90% of 35 mins class (yes, 35 mins, we were 5 mins late to start and end 5 mins early), we were actually dancing with Salsa music and something else which was not Tango music.
In view of a group class, 6 people should be a small class, I assumed everyone should have a pretty good amount of individual attention from the instructor. Unfortunately there were two people in my class left early bcoz they could not catch up at all.

I guess this studio is good for private lessons only with ‘star’ instructors, as I did see a couple dancing really pro, taking a private lesson, seems they are preparing for a competition~ But for group lessons, I will never come back after using my LivingSocial voucher.

Found this school through Groupon. We took advantage of the two private classes, each about 45 minutes. It was a good deal, and we enjoyed both. Our instructor, Stephen Thomas, was courteous and helpful, very good at explaining body movement. The studio was bright, open, and well-​conditioned, with a good atmosphere. Though we decided not to continue the classes, I do think the prices are quite fair for a professional dance school.

If you want to become super dancer, I recommend this school. I’ve been taking individual and group classes there for 7 years., and with the help of Tony, Mikal, Daniel and other instructors my dancing drastically improved. Formerly I studied in NYC. Thanks to Pat West for running this school with so many talented international champions, teachers and dancers. You can get well-​rounded professional ballroom, Latin and swing training. They mostly serve adults, however, they now have a popular program to prepare children for dance competitions which looks like a lot of fun.

Great facility. Great faculty. Better pricing than the competition. What more you need?
