Beautiful place. Great wine selection. Did not have a reservation, but the owner Chris, tried hard to accommodate us. Ordered the fig and date bruschetta and it was delicious. We will be back!

Eh. Nice looking. But food was not stellar. Bruschetta stale, undercooked. Tomatoes were good. Service was off. Most wine bars are more engaging about wine. But was very busy. Wine was good but wanted more diverse selection. Cauliflower salty, not great. Wings were ok.

An adorable wine bar with a great wine selection, delicious flatbreads, and great ambiance! I have been here many times with the hubs, with family, girls night… it’s a lovely spot! Service can be hit or miss depending on how busy it is. Once I get my glass of wine, I don’t mind the long wait! Besides pizzas, they have amazing salads and cheese boards, as well as a larger plate selection such as burgers and short ribs. The fungus pizza is my favorite by far-mozzarella, goat cheese, truffle oil, mushrooms, garlic and shallots. They have wines that you can order as more of a taster, glass, or bottle. The only wine that I have tried that I didn’t like was their rose by the glass. On a positive note, they have bottles of The Hitching Post Pinot Noir, which is one of my faves! If you are looking for great wine and a relaxing ambiance by the beach, the Wine Gallery is your spot!

Walked in the door and were greated like we were family. Had the chopped salad for two and the side of brussel sprouts. Excellent. Very attentive service, and conversive staff. Good crowd.

Great place, great wines, great service. Maybe a bit expensive. I didn’t know any of the of the vineyards, except the barolo, but the wines I tasted were all excellent. Kudos to the sommelier. I also had a small plate of food, the polenta with mushrooms, which was lacking a bit of gusto. The bartender was as good as it gets and was really friendly. Atmosphere was warm, go there!

Let me first say… the service here is excellent. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating, I saw the owner in action and he’s super hands on(really nice to see!) Stopped by later in the evening with my boyfriend and had some amazing wine and some delicious pizza. That wine list is pretty bomb. I heard they have live music some nights so I would love to check that out. The only downside I think is the volume inside. A little loud if you’re into having a quiet evening with girlfriends or a special one ;)

The food here is delicious. If you’re not looking for a large meal you can always get a small plate — delicious and decent portions. I am anxious to get back and try more!

Good wine, good food and live music!!! what’s not to like? I love this little bar and it’s right next door to the Serandi Salon so call Lauren Nicholson for an appointment, get all dolled up and head next door for a fabulous meal with good wine, and music :) Staff is great, very friendly and knows their menu. Great for a first date too.

Wonderful experience. Great ambience. We were able to grab a table right away on a Saturday night while waiting for our reservation across the street. Ordered a couple of appetizers and drinks. Service was excellent. Only down side was the volume inside. I fully recommend.

I have always loved this place. Wonderful wines and conversations about wine. Chris and his crew are very knowledgeable and helpful about the wines they pour. I’ve had many of the menu items and love all of them. The pizzas, short rib tacos, bruschetta, and everything else is exceptional. I was there on Tuesday and the spicy pepper and pepperoni pizza was really tasty. My husband and I fought over the leftovers the next morning. Great live entertainment while my coworker and I were there. He was also very impressed. Thanks for helping me show off Southern California to my Cleveland friend.

Originally came here for drinks and apps, but only came here for one glass. Definitely seems like one of those places that is great for regulars, but meh for everyone else. Wine was decent, nothing too exciting. Service was lame so we left to get our dinner somewhere else. I’d probably be willing to give it another chance, hoping it was just a bad night.

Love love the pizzas. Rotating taps, wine and food are all great. It’s a great local spot and would suggest anybody who hasn’t been here to stop in.

Great little wine bar in Laguna off PCH. Hubby and I needed food at 10 pm and thankfully they were still serving pizza. I like things spicy so we ordered the Calabrese pizza. It was pretty good. I like Neopolitan’s Calabrese better but the spicy chili oil here in Wine Gallery is better. I also ordered a carafe of their Cabernet which is a nice deal(250 ml for $ 16). The service is very good here. Mike, our bartender/server was attentive without hovering. I definitely give them props for that. Chris, the owner, stopped by to ask how everything was and thank us for coming in again. I appreciated that. Sometimes it is the small things like this that make you want to come back. Everyone likes a neighborhood place. Especially one that has the right atmosphere, design and music. Did I mention yet that they play really good music here? Definitely a note able thing! We’ll be back for sure and I look forward to trying other things on their menu.

This is probably one of the best restaurants in the Laguna/Newport area! The owner Chris is super welcoming and warm. It’s a nice ambience with a huge wine list! We had the bruschetta, traditional and goat cheese/fig. Both were great, the bread could have been a bit more crunchy and less chewy. Main course: the steak frites, roasted chicken and veggie pizza. Everyone enjoyed the food but I can only speak for my veggie pizza. It was super thin and flavorful! Loved it! Plus: they make their own mozzarella! Bravo!

Came here with friends for a dinner on Saturday night. The mood is a little incongruous with the type of music they are playing and the tv’s broadcasting sports. I feel like if someone wants to watch the game and grab a drink, this probably isn’t the place they are going to go to. I was immediately excited by the menu and had a hard time narrowing down my choices. Since I wanted to try both the meat balls and their pizza, I lucked out when the special was meatball pizza. The only star I took off was for the speed of service. We ordered 3 bottles of wine and it took about 10 minutes for it to all come out. Following that, we told the waitress we were ready to order, but she just walked away and didn’t return for about another 10 minutes. Once we finally ordered, she told us the kitchen works best when things come out as they are ready. We said that was fine, but there was honestly a 25 minute difference from when the first dish to the last dish dropped. If this was a tapas place, and we were all sharing, it wouldn’t be that bad, but we had one person sitting alone with a salad for 15 minutes before anyone else even had food. The food ended up being delicious. The meat ball pizza wasn’t overly heavy and I also tried a bit of the sausage pizza. You can tell the pasta sauce is made fresh and they are using quality ingredients. The size is easily finishable for 1 person. Being from CT and a fan of the New Haven hot oil pizza’s, I was excited that they brought some out to the table. The scallops came out absolutely last, and were very tasty. I will say though that we were expecting more of a cauliflower mash, than what was mostly a decorative smear across the plate. I would definitely want to go back when in the area!

Based on a single — Tuesday night — experience: great tasting salad, truffle-funghi pizza, wine selection and live music. Service was excellent. The only downside — and this can be a serious one — is that the sole restroom is located externally(I.e. available to the public). My restroom attempt was blockaded by two individuals holed up in the facility — up to devious activity, no doubt. Eventually, I had to give up, but assuming the worst, even if I had been able to use the restroom, questions regarding hygiene and biohazard remain concerning…

Nice ambience. Nice blue lamp on the way restrooms, very Alice and wonderland. Flatbread brick oven fungus flatbread made with truffle oil was fabulous. The sarachai cauliflower wasn’t too bad either. Next time I think I will try the Brussels sprouts as the neighbors next door raved about them. Parking… Not so good(and I came on a Wednesday night).

Used to LOVE this place Chris, but the service at the bar(yes, from your VERY nice managers), is sloooow and aloof at best.(Hopefully he’s a great manager.) And now in two ocassions, HALF our margarita pizza came without cheese.(See photo. Even more shameless considering you make your own.(I make my own as well.) The tomato sauce that was once delicious is now overly salty. The meatballs are amazing, but ruined by the sauce of late. Worse, the wait staff acts surprised. Aren’t they tasting the food weekly? Aren’t they noticing ½ the cheese they used to see? Please address these issues immediately so that I can remove this review. Out of the THREE Neapolitan restaurants within 10 blocks of you, you were our favorite — even over our friends’ with a 40K Venetian oven and all ingredients flown in from Italy.

Unsuspecting little place on PCH in Laguna before you get to the main drag of all the restaurants. We got there around 7:30 and while you can’t see the ocean from the restaurant, if you walk to the corner you’ll see a steep hill leading right to it with an impeccable view of the sunset. Wine Gallery is a pretty small place with the bar in the middle and high top tables all around it. I had a glass of the Whispering Angel Rose which was tart and delicious, and then a glass of the Marquis Caceres Albarino which was light and sweet and perfect with the cheeses we ordered. The service here is great, everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable and you can tell they’ve actually delved into the menu and food they serve here to be able to give genuine recommendations. We only ended up ordering meats and cheeses all of which were delicious, especially the Venison, but they have salads, pizzas(including gluten-free), and several specials(which change nightly). The specials our waitress read off sounded incredible so I will definitely be back here for a full meal. I will say it got a little loud in here in the beginning because they had an acoustic guitar player, which is nice but the place is just too small to have live music be unobtrusive. Regardless, this is a great place for a date or a night out with girls. Excellent lighting, very simple décor, but overall lovely.
