After a very long 10 hour drive from Virginia, and arriving in LaGrange, GA at 1am, I had the munchies and wanted something quick to eat. It seems like the only fast food game in town at that hour was Krystals. Being the southern version of White Castle, it sounded good.
I ordered the 5 Cheese Krystals with chilli cheese fries and a drink. The burgers were good, but not like White Castle for some reason. The chilli cheese fries AB-​SO-​LUTE-​LY SUCK! It «chilli» smelled and tasted like Alpo! (not that I know what pet food taste like, I’m just sayin’). Two stars!
The next evening, we sent some folks to Wendy’s. Ready to chow down on a Jr bacon cheeseburger, and these clowns come back with Krystal. I’m mad at this point, but ate anyway. I will say that the fries without the Alpo tastes better and the burger didn’t disappoint. I’ll give it one more star. They need to take that chilli crap off the menu!
