By far the WORST place to stay. Do not stay here. Rude staff, incredibly impatient manager, and they are expert scam artists. I paid for a 60 dollar room including a 60 dollar deposit totalling up to approximately 120 dollars. After checking out, they told me they refunded my 60 dollar deposit, but instead took another 60 dollars off of my card. After calling them about this fiasco, they apologised and told me they refunded me 120 dollars. However, they did not, taking 120 dollars out of my account. They stole 240 dollars from me, and although they said they refunded me again for the 240 dollars stolen, I never saw that money. DO NOT STAY HERE. If there was an option for 0 or even negative stars, I would put negative 5 instead.

Walked in on somebody else in my room. Switched rooms then had family emergency and night shift worker assure me he would refund me for the second night printed off a peice of paper and showed me a negative balance which only meant it hadn’t been charged. Talked to manager after trying to get ahold of him for 4 days today and was told the two rooms would be charged and his employee had given me false information. When asking why he can’t honor what his employee said it was then said their reputation doesn’t depend on customer service. Room was filthy towel had holes in it. Wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy

OMG… The most disgusting room i have ever seen… If there would have been something else we would have went. Holes in the only towel in the room. To afraid to turn on the AC for fear of germs. You could see it had never been cleaned .Was worried about bed bugs. never go here

I stayed at Knights Inn last year as I was driving across country. I was not impressed with the accommodations at all, however I feel like it deserves at least two stars because the man working at the front desk was very warm and friendly. He was able to direct me to near by places (food, coffee, attractions, etc). Another upside was that the bed was comfy ish. It was overall clean and did not smell of smoke. However these upsides still did not outweigh the shabby and run down feeling and appearance of the place. It was the first and last time I’ll be staying. Note to self read the reviews first. :(

Okay so this is the first «Knights Inn» I have ever stayed at. I’ve never been in one so I thought, «Why not?» Big mistake.
First of all we had a coupon that we intended to use. But when the hotel didn’t seem good enough to our standards we left. Unfortunately, it was by far the cheapest place to stay. So we go back only to encounter even more problems.
The manager must e a big piece if crap or something because all of a sudden they couldn’t accept our coupon. Then to make matters worse, the room stinks the wifi didn’t work if at all and the bath tub I wouldn’t even let anyone’s kids in it. So this place should be condemned or something because it wasn’t a safe place to sleep that night. If I were anyone coming here I would go elsewhere and spend more money on a safer place. And a cleaner place. This place should just get a negative five stars but since I can’t do that, I’ll give it one.

I’ve stayed in worse place but I would never stay here again. Dirty and dingy. Did not seem clean.

My husband pulled in here after 9:30 at night on his way home from a long trip. The room was old and he said linens and towels looked clean but it stops there. When he was looking out the window he was standing in front of the heating unit. The front panel fell off and and he said the filter was disgustingly filthy. Being on the road for hours he went to sleep. I may add with his clothes on due to the condition of the room. Smart decision on his part.
The next morning when he went to take a shower it sputtered and brown liquid squirted out of the shower head and landed all over the wall. Then there was no water pressure only brown water trickling out of the shower head. He went to the office and heard the two woman talking about the issue. The one women asked the other one why did you even put him in that room knowing there was a problem? Then they offered him another room to use to shower in. He decided to just get the heck out of there. He was not very happy to find out that they knew that there was a problem and stuck him in that room. He said the place was EMPTY so it was not like there was a shortage on rooms.
Also one of the locks on the door was broke.
What a joke!

I’ve actually stayed in worse places than this. Let’s face it, you won’t find this place in Zagat. I’ve stayed here before but it’s been several years. Knights Inn used to have a Mediterranean/​Mediaeval feel to it, dark, heavy and anything but romantic.
The rooms have been brightened, the iron chandelier is gone and replaced with a kitchen fixture that has a curly-​fries lightbulb. The furniture is hotel room modern style.
I found the room to be clean, but just, well, tacky. The ticking on the box spring is ragged. One of the wooden slats extends outward from the bed frame and with its jagged edge, can catch an unwary ankle. The vanity, probably original from the Mediterranean days and repainted, has seen better days and could best be described as tired. The sink is not much newer and the fixtures are also older. There’s a newer bathtub and surround but older fixtures.
The mattress is hard and it was a shame to take the pillows away from their mother. The bathroom flooring is curling at the edges and overall, the room is just a room. I’m not looking for the Waldorf, I just need a bed to take a nap before I resume my journey. It’s okay for that.
The property’s WiFi was down during my visit.
On the plus side, there is a refrigerator and a microwave and the day help is much friendlier than the night help.
If I could, it would get one and a half stars, the extra star is for the amenities.
Next time I’m near Lafayette, well, I’m going to keep going. If you’re passing through and just want a cheap bed, that’s what the Knights Inn will provide, and not much more. It’s right off I-​65 at exit 172, behind the McDonalds. Your call.

Same as the last review. Bath fixtures were corroded and old. The air conditioning unit looked as if someone took a hammer to it. Lastly, I asked for extra pillows, got A PILLOW. Asked for extra towels, they gave me two. I wouldn’t stay here again on a bet!

Stuck here because the other hotels are sold out for Purdue homecoming. Basic room that smells like smoke. Feel like I smoked 2 packs just sleeping in this room. Pillows are thin and horrible. Odd banner over the checking window that looks like a bloody handprint. Front desk didn’t know what it was. IOW don’t stay here.
