This business is one of West Lafayette’s hidden gems. They stock all sorts of things every avid home chef would love: tea, coffee, spices, small appliances, cookware, aprons and towels, I could go on and on. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. The store also have a built in kitchen where they offer cooking classes during summer. I am very fond of this store, I never leave empty-handed.

Helpful staff and any kitchen gadget you could want. My wife wanted a cherry pitter so I looked on line just to see what was out there. Unlike most people I search on-line then buy local. They had just the one my wife wanted and it was very reasonably priced. We try to shop there often but it can be a bit pricey but they are still with in reason.

This store is amazing! It has everything you need plus some for cake decorating and some candymaking in addition to normal baking and cooking supplies. I can’t wait to go back!

If there’s something kitchen-related you may be thinking of going to a BBBig BBBox(:D) store for — go here instead! They’re locally owned, and will *probably* have what you need — or something slightly different and potentially better that will fill the same need. The selection of cookware(in a few different price tiers) is excellent, as is the small appliance and cutlery(stabbing/slashing devices!) selection. They always have someone on hand that’s knowledgeable in most of the product areas. They also have a decent selection of bakeware and some candy-making supplies. They also inexplicably(to me, anyway), carry«gourmet» coffee. In my opinion, the space occupied by the unknown-roast-date from unknown roaster coffee could be much better utilized for more cookware/bakeware/books, or more small appliances. But… I’m a coffee snob! Another area of improvement I’d like to see is in the book selection. Most of what they carry for books are from big-name cable show celebrity chefs, which are not always the best books for actual information. But, it’s still a 4-star review and the shop is definitely awesome. Lizz and I are there often!

Kitchen Art. this is my go-to store for general and sometimes ‘specific’ kitchen, baking and cook wares. Le Cruset? They got it, lots of it! Weird-spoon-thing you saw once on a TV Show? They probably have it. Piping tips? Yep! Timers? Shun/Kershaw/other knives? You bet! Classes? Check! Small appliances, cook books, apple corers, pressure cookers, pastry pans and decorating supplies. Mid to high end chocolates, flavors and essences. And all of this with helpful staff that will spend time answering questions, or not, which ever you prefer =) The only time generally we go elsewhere is when we need something extremely specialized. Please go, and enjoy. and if you’re a sweets type person, be sure to peruse the chocolates/cookies/toffees near the register. It’ll be a sweet and rich end to a productive and fun shopping experience!

Wow! This store has an amazing range of cool gadgets. My friend loves her Silpat and I love my Zyliss cheese grater and my rice cooker. Larry the owner has an encyclopedic knowledge of cooking tools. The Chicago trip and the classes are fantastic.
