Great place for dinner and drinks, or just drinks :-) They have an extensive menu, great drink selections, outdoor seating, and private party rooms. This is one of our favorite places to eat in town. Their fried pickles and ranch are amazing. They are spears, not chips, and the coating they use is so crunchy and tasty with a little spice.(6/order) Tonight my husband got the chicken Parmesan sandwich with fries. This is his usual, so he obviously loves it. The sandwich comes with lettuce, red onion, and tomato. I had their southern chicken sandwich with chips & salsa. All meals come with fries, but you can substitute it with veggies-chips & salsa-chips-salad-etc. Their salsa is smoky and has a little heat to it. For being a pub, they have a pretty wide selection of Mexican food. We also got a beer & Cosmo to drink. My Cosmo was STRONG, but I got it down! We’ll be back soon, I’m sure.

The wife and I visited the Hunter’s Pub on a Monday evening for dinner with a group of 6. It’s a great pub and bar-like atmosphere. I had the triple queso burger(cooked perfectly medium) with fries and my wife had the Tyrie Alfredo and both were absolutely delicious. Drafts were $ 1 off, and both beers I consumed were ice cold and tasted great. For the price, it’s one of the best burgers in Lafayette in my opinion. Our waitress was a little short and not so bubbly as the atmosphere, hence the 4 stars. I would recommend and we will definitely be back for a visit.

I stopped in to here a couple Saturdays ago. There was no wait because I sat at the bar. I think the bartenders were named Mike and Jerome maybe… They were both attentive, friendly, and attractive to boot! I had the fish and chips. It Was good, But the fries had a bit Too Much seasoning. Im definitely coming back next time I’m in the area!!!

We’ve been here several times and the food seems kind of hit or miss. I’ve always gotten the chicken Parmesan sandwich and it’s pretty good, but my husband hasn’t been crazy about the burgers or pasta.

Always great food, great selection of tasty beers. Tonight was great hot wings. Beer was tasty, life is good. They were swamped, but we’re regulars, so you have one more beer while waiting. Thanks Jeremy, thanks Sandy.(Part time worker).

Been here several times over the last couple of years, usually during football season. The food is always tasty, served hot, and the service is good, along with plenty of variety in menu and drinks. The establishment and restrooms have been unfailingly clean. Love the Fish ‘n Chips and the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. Many TVs for you sports buffs, but not so loud that you can’t chat with friends or hear yourself think, like some of the wing places I used to frequent for games. It’s become my go to place in NFL season. See you Sunday afternoon for the Dallas-Philly game!

First time at Hunter’s Pub. The food was great! Service was a little lacking, waitress never smiled, we never got her name, and our drinks were never refilled. The room we were in actually seemed quite dirty, don’t know if it was due to it being in the evening or what. Where I was sitting, the wall was covered in greasy adult handprints. We might try again someday.

We were so impressed with our visit to Hunter’s Pub! We stopped on our way from Wisconsin to Kentucky. It wasn’t exactly off the highway but it wasn’t too far a detour– definitely worth it. We were super thrilled with the service. I believe our server was Michael. He was knowledgable with the extensive menu and wasn’t timid when we asked for his personal recommendations. He was kind and outgoing with our kids which is huge. Food was prompt and accurate. One thing I noticed(that means so much to me as a mom) is that our waiter handed the kids’ plates to my husband, not directly to the kids. I loved this! His attention to details was fantastic. My husband ordered the Hot Club, I the Reuben, and the kids split fish and chips. Everything was so good! Hot, flavorful. We will definitely be back!

A coworker recommended the South side location and I’m glad I listened. My husband and I stopped by for dinner last night. Our waitress was very nice and welcoming. Got started with drinks… a beer for my husband and a Mrs. Mosley for me. Had no idea what I was ordering, but it was fruity and delicious. My husband and I ordered the exact same thing, bacon cheeseburgers with a side of onion rings. Best burger we’ve had in a long time. My silly husband judges restaurants on the lettuce they use. He says this place uses the good stuff(it’s shredded and that’s how he likes it). We will definitely be returning.

Great Spot! This place doesn’t disappoint. The food was good, fair prices, excellent drink specials, and attentive staff. I stopped here with my brother before a Purdue game and it was a great experience. We had the pub wrap with tortilla chips and it was good.

My family met up here for a late dinner last week. The food was delicious– I had the club sandwich with tomato soup. The only thing that made this trip not exactly pleasurable was our waitress. I don’t remember her name-maybe she never even gave it to us– but she was just completely unpleasant. She didn’t smile once, and seemed to be annoyed.

Hunter’s Pub South has a good reputation, and is one of three locations in the Greater Lafayette area. This one has better parking and a roomy outdoor patio. Inside there is plenty of seating and can accommodate large groups. No smoking allowed inside, thankfully. The food here is so-so pub food. The service is average to poor. But somehow people flock here. I’m likely to go back and probably with a group of friends.

After«getting the lead out» at nearby Applied Ballistics, the family was hungry, so we stopped in for a quick dinner. We started with the«Fries Americana» which had seasoned, well-done fries(our favorite) covered in lots of melted cheddar, topped with fresh diced green onions and really good smoked chopped bacon. These were delicious, and a much better quality than the typical bar-food cheese fries. I had fried catfish which was fresh, nicely seasoned and not overly battered. My husband’s chicken caliente sandwich featured a surprisingly moist fried chicken breast dipped in a spicy buffalo sauce, with pepper jack cheese. My son’s mexican burger was also a hit, with a heavy hand to the sliced jalapenos that made his brow sweat. Service was well-paced and friendly. The place is very family-friendly even though it’s a bar(smoking is only allowed on the outside patio, and this is the only Hunter’s Pub location that allows kids). For a basi American-fare bar, this place was pretty darned good. If it was closer to home, I’m sure we’d be regular visitors. As it is, we’ll probably make a point of stopping in next time we head to the shooting range.

Started outside with the group before it got cold and windy. Also gets unpleasant when people start to smoke. But there was no problem moving indoors. Food was better than I expected with such an extensive menu. It was reasonably priced too! Everyone in my group seemed to enjoy their meal. So I would say you can’t go wrong with the«Fish’n’Chips,» «Grilled Chicken Sandwich,» «Jacob’s Ladder»(a full-pound hamburger), «Chicken ‘n’ Chips tossed in their tangy Pub Sauce.» I had the«Black Cat,» which is a blackened catfish sandwich. It would’ve been one of the best fish sandwiches, I’ve ever had if it was less salty. The fish was well-seasoned with crispy edges. I thought I was going to eat it without the bun, but the bun was nicely toasted and was a great compliment to the meal. All sandwiches include fries or chips, but you can also have any other side at an additional cost. That night I chose to have the«vegetable of the day.» I was surprised to find out the«Green Beans w/Bacon» didn’t mean canned stuff. Instead they were freshly-sauteed with a sprinkling of crispy bacon.
